responded to the area for traffic control purposes due to a hanging live wire
from an electricity pole. Pepco was notified and a Pepco technician
responded to the location and was able to repair the issue without

Officers on patrol and working the Halloween detail canvassed the perimeters of
the City yielding negative results for any property damages or suspicious

alarm- 6000 block 85th Avenue- there were no signs of forced entry,
all the exterior doors and windows were checked secured. There was no answer at
the door upon knocking.

responded to the location for a large tree branch on the roadway impeding the
free flow of traffic. Officers were able to move the tree branch out of the
roadway. The City of New Carrollton's Public Works Department was notified of

Halloween detail, Officers on duty made contact with several people at the
location who did not seem to be partaking in the Halloween festivities. Those
people were stopped, identified, advised and sent on their way without incident.

to the location for a suspicious occupied vehicle. The odor of burned marijuana
emanated from inside the vehicle. Officers did recover a small amount of C.D.S.
in plain view inside of the vehicle. It was also discovered that the male did
not possess a valid driver's license. The male then elected not to accept his
traffic citations and was subsequently transported to Hyattsville Department of
Corrections for a presentation of his traffic charges.

vehicle displaying unregistered plates. The registration plates were
subsequently confiscated and placed into NCPD property to be returned to the
