0650 hours - Premise check – 8400 block Annapolis Road: Officers conducted a premise check at the location, made contact with the employees. There were no issues observed or reported, and the business regular as usual. No report     

0715 till 0745 hours - Crossing guard assignment - Good luck Rd & Lamont Dr.: Officers responded to the location for the crossing guard assignment. The assignment was completed without any incident. 

0835 hours - Premise Check - 5200-5400 block of 85th Avenue: Officers on patrol conducted a premise check of the area for suspicious persons or activities, none of which were observed. No report   

0914 hours - Breaking and Entering - 7500 block Riverdale Road: The victim stated that when he came home, he noticed an unknown suspect kicked his rear door. Officers responded to the location, the house was checked cleared, and all the information was gathered for the report. DB responded to the scene and the victim stated that nothing is out of place. Report generated

1035 hours - Hit & Run - 6200 block Westbrook Drive: The caller stated that someone struck their vehicle. Officers responded to the location, didn't see the caller in the area. Officers called the caller and they didn't answer their phone. No report

1205 hours - MPS - 7600 block Riverdale Road: While officers were out canvassing for the 2nd B&E in the area, Officers observed a back door ajar at the location. Officers meet with the homeowner and advised her. Report generated

1213 till 1700 hours - Missing/Found - 8500 block Annapolis Road: The caller stated his 77-year-old dad, who suffers from dementia is missing. While canvassing officers located the missing on the 8th floor by the elevator. No report 

1241 hours - Property damage - 7700 block Riverdale Road: The caller stated that his vehicle was damaged in the parking lot. Officers responded to the location, gathered all the information for the report. Report generated

1325 hours - Premise Check - 5500 block of Karen Elaine Drive: Officers on patrol conducted a premise check of the area for suspicious persons or activities, none of which were observed. No report      

1425 hours - Premise Check - 7700 & 7800 block of Riverdale Road: Officers on patrol conducted a premise check of the area for suspicious persons or activities, none of which were observed. No report     

1535 hours - Premise Check - 7400 block Riverdale Road: Officers conducted a foot patrol of the library checking in with management and staff. No report  

1640 hours - Premise check - 7700 block Riverdale Road: Officers conducted a premise check at the location, made contact with the employees. There were no issues observed or reported, and the business regular as usual.  No report  

1715 hours - Accident call - 8400 block Annapolis Road: Unit-1 struck Unit-2, Both vehicles had minor damages. Officers responded to the location and facilitated an information exchange between both drivers. No report 

1755 Disorderly/ 8000 block Powhatan St/ Caller advised her ex-boyfriend came knocking on her door. Officers responded to the scene and spoke with the caller who advised she told her ex-boyfriend to not come to her residence. Officers spoke to the male in in question and advised him not to come back. No Report

1820 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd - the area was clear

1844 Missing Person/ 6400 block Fairbanks St/ Caller advised their son did not come home after school. Prior to getting to the call, dispatched notify officers that the son was located at a friend’s house. No Report

1925 Premise Check/ 6400 block 85th Ave - the area was clear

1952 Sounds of Gunshots/ 5300 block 85th Ave/ Caller advised they heard gunshots in the area. Officers responded to the scene and canvassed the area, which yielded negative results. No Report

2157 Parking Complaint/ 6400 block Fairborn Terr. / Caller advised his neighbor was blocking his driveway. Officers responded to the scene and spoke with the neighbor and he advised he would move his vehicle. No Report

2325 Suspicious Vehicle/ 6200 block Westbrook Dr. / Officers was on a routine patrol when they observed a vehicle in the park after hours. Officers conducted a vehicle search and observed 90 grams of marijuana and a firearm. The male and female were transported to Hyattsville D.O.C.  Report Written

  0630 hrs., Premise check/ Shoppers Food (Foot Patrol), check clear.   0645 hrs., Premise check/ Lowe's, check clear.   0700 hrs., 8000 block Powhattan St/ Suspicious persons, caller stated there was a person sleeping inside of a vehicle parked in front of their residence.  Officers located the vehicle and the persons inside sleeping.  Officers checked the individuals and the vehicle and observed nothing illegal at this time.  The individuals were advised and sent on their way.  Report written   0745 hrs., Premise check/ 7-11, check clear.   0821 hrs., 7600 block Fountainbleau Dr/ 911 Hang-up, communications stated there was a call from this address but prior to getting any information the phone hung up.  On callback communications stated there was no answer, only a prerecorded message.  Officers checked the rental office and it was locked and secure with no one inside.  No Report.   0847 hrs., 86...
