1300 hrs. Suspicious Person - 8400 block of Annapolis Rd. While on routine patrol, officers observed Loss Prevention attempting to apprehend a fleeing shoplifter. Officers assisted in the pursuit but lost the shoplifter. Officers were able to recover the stolen items and returned them to the store. PG County took over the call.  

 

1315 hrs. Threats - Arehart Dr. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for threats via telephone. Officers spoke to the complainant who advised she was receiving threats from an individual.  The complainant was advised on how to obtain a peace/protection order.

1347 hrs. Theft - 8400 block Annapolis Rd. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a theft.  Upon arrival, it was determined that the incident had occurred on March 27, 2021, at approximately 1030 hours.  Due to the surveillance in the store at the time of the location, it was unable to be determined that a theft occurred. The complainant was advised. No report 

 

1407 hrs. Theft from vehicle - 8100 block Quentin St. Officers were dispatched to the listed location from a theft from auto.  Upon arrival, officers observed damage to the vehicle.  The complainant advised that the property was stolen from the vehicle. Report written

 

1500 hrs. Critical Missing - 6100 block 87th Ave. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a critical missing. As officers were canvassing the area, the critical missing was located and was returned home. No report

1715 hrs. Premise Check - 7700 block Annapolis Rd. Check clear.

 

1830 hrs. 7600 block Vicar St/ Check on the welfare, caller stated he has not spoken to his wife all day and was concerned about her safety.  Officers arrived and were able to locate the wife, who stated she had already spoken to her husband a couple minutes prior. Officers checked and she did not seem to be in any distress or need of medical attention.  No Report

 

1900 hrs., School Check/ Lamont Elementary School, check clear.

1920 hrs., Lamont Elementary/ Officers located several persons playing basketball on the courts as well as children attempting to play on the equipment.  Due to the lateness of the evening they were advised and sent on their way.  No Report.

2007 hrs., 5400 block 85th Ave/ Domestic with a weapon, caller stated her boyfriend had been sending her messages about beating up her mother.  The mother has a protective order against the boyfriend, however the caller did not.  She was advised about going to get one to protect herself.  There is a final hearing coming up this week and the mother was advised to take any information with her to provide to the court.  No Report.

2059 hrs., 6100 block 85th Pl/ Domestic Dispute, caller stated she and her boyfriend got into a physical altercation and she is at a neighbor’s house for safety.  Upon arrival the caller stated the male half left but did not know if he took the small children or left them at the house.  Officers attempted to knock at the locked front door but no answer, officers then made entry into the residence through an open window with the caller's permission.  The officers did not locate the children or the male half in the residence, the officers did encounter the father of the male half inside.  Officers conducted an interview of the female who stated the father of the male half was also involved in the assault, he was placed under arrest and transported to DOC.  Report written

0132 hrs., Fountainbleau Dr at Riverdale Rd/ Check on welfare, caller stated there was a male in his vehicle stopped in the roadway with his feet out.  Officers located the male and woke him up, he was asleep.  He was asked if he needed medical assistance, but stated no.  He was sent on his way.  No Report.

0140 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Information, caller stated his girlfriend was texting him and she has a protective order out on him.  He showed officers the messages and that he was not texting her back and wanted to know what to do.  He was advised.  No Report.

0210 hrs., 7-11/ Suspicious Persons, officers observed two persons standing outside the store.  Both individuals were advised and sent on their way.  No Report.
