1133 hrs. Welfare Check - 6600 block Ian St. Officers responded to the listed location for a welfare check. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the individual in question who advised that she was sad because she hadn't heard from her son in Houston for almost four months due to outside circumstances. No report.

 

1145 hrs. Property Damage - 5300 block 85th Ave. Officers responded to the listed location for a call about property damage. The damage to the property was in the common area, so the complainant was advised to contact the property manager to have the damage fixed. No report. 

 

1234 hrs. Shoplifting - 7700 block Riverdale Rd. Officers responded to the listed location for a shoplifting call. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the Loss Protection manager who advised that the shoplifting had occurred last week and that he had the individual's name. The Loss Protection manager was advised to obtain a warrant through the Commissioner's Office. No report.

 

1314 hrs. Unknown Trouble - 8500 block Annapolis Rd. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a female near a gas truck yelling. Officers canvassed the surrounding area with negative results. No report.

 

1440 hrs. Premise Check - 8500 block Annapolis Rd. Check clear.  

 

1517 hrs. Welfare Check - Oland Dr. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a welfare check. The individual had not taken her medication and was aggravated. Officers were able to calm down the individual without issue. No report.

 

1536 hrs. Dispute/Return Call - 5300 block 85th Ave. Officers were dispatched to the listed location again for a dispute between neighbors. Parties were advised again on how to obtain the necessary paperwork. No report.

 

1606 hrs. Suicidal Threat - 7700 block Riverdale Rd. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a suicidal threat. Officers were unable to locate the individual due to only being provided the vehicle description. No report. 

 

1713 hrs. Suicidal Threat - 7700 block Riverdale Rd. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a suicidal threat. Officers spoke to the individual who stated that he had to speak to his counselor today because he was feeling down. The individual stated that he did not want to harm himself or others, but he would like to talk to someone. While officers were on the scene, the individual's father advised that he would be obtaining an EPS. No report. 

 

1850 hrs., Riverdale Rd and Annapolis Rd/ Hit and Run, caller stated she was driving up Riverdale Rd to Annapolis Rd when a vehicle struck her vehicle.  The striking vehicle fled the area without exchanging information or checking on the welfare of the caller.  Officers took the information and an ACRS report was written.

2035 hrs., 6600 block Adrian St/ Hit and Run, caller stated he parked his vehicle earlier in the evening with no damage.  While inside eating dinner the caller heard a loud crash and went outside to look.  He observed a white van driving down Adrian St towards Longbranch Dr.  The caller then observed his vehicle and found the rear passenger fender damaged.  Officers took the information and an ACRS report was written.  

 

2050 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr/ Disorderly, caller stated there was a male that did not belong in the building.  The caller refused to give any information other than a description.  Officers arrived and searched the building but did not see anyone in the hallways or matching that description.  No Report.

 

2135 hrs., 7200 block Longbranch Dr/ Loud Music, officers observed vehicles parked at the park that was closed and when we went to check on them, we could hear loud music coming from the listed address.  Officers spoke to the owner and asked if they were having a party, she stated no and showed officers the residence.  There were only a few people but the house was set up to host a party, she was advised. No Report.

2310 hrs., Premise Check/ 5300-5400 block of 85th Ave, check clear.

 

2350 hrs., Premise Check/ Beckett Field and the Hanko Building, check clear.

 

0005 hrs., Hanko building parking lot/ Suspicious vehicle occupied, officers observed a vehicle parked in the corner of the parking lot running but dark.  As officers approached they observed 2 persons inside, officers asked what they were doing there and they stated they were homeless just looking to sleep.  Officers observed the vehicle had been full of belongings and blankets and pillows.  They were advised where they could go for some assistance.  No Report.

 

0040 hrs., Premise check/ 5500 block of Karen Elaine Dr, check clear.

 

0100 hrs., Fountainebleau Dr and Karen Elaine Dr/ Parking violation, parking ticket was issued without further incident.

 

0120 hrs., 7-11/ Suspicious persons, officers observed several males standing behind the 7-11.  When officers inquired they stated they were waiting for a ride.  They were advised and officers observed the vehicle stop and picked them up.  No Report.

 

0200 hrs., Premise check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

 

0240 hrs., Premise check/ Heritage Square Apartment, check clear.

 

0300 hrs., School check/ Charles Carroll Middle school, check clear.

 

0320 hrs., 7500 block Riverdale Rd/ Assist Prince George's County Police with a possible gunshot victim.  The address the caller gave was the 6800 Blk of Riverdale Rd, officers checked that area with negative results.  They were unable to contact him back on the phone, however it was pinging to the area of 7502 Riverdale.  We checked the area and located a vehicle matching the description but it was not the same vehicle.  The vehicle was clean and no signs of anyone shot being in the vehicle.  No Report.

0400 hrs., Premise check/ Shops at New Carrollton, check clear.

 

0425 hrs., Westbrook Dr and Lamont Dr (Dead End)/ Suspicious vehicle occupied, officers observed a vehicle parked running and with the lights on in the middle of the roadway.  Officers approached the vehicle and observed a male and female in the vehicle.  The male half claimed the female passenger was his wife and they were discussing something.  When asked for identification it was observed they did not live at the same location, however they lived only several blocks from each other.  Both the male and female lived with other people and that is why they were unable to go to either person’s residence to discuss matters.  No Report.
