1043 hours- Theft- 5300 block 85th Ave. - Caller advised she helped her ex-boyfriend register a vehicle and he refused to return the vehicle registration plates to her. Caller was advised. No report.

1215 hours- Animal Bite- 6100 block 84th Ave. - Caller advised his neighbor’s dog jumped the gate and bit his arm. NCPD Animal Control notified. Report written

 

1230 hours-Death Report- 5500 block Karen Elaine - Female lived at above location alone. She was last spoken to on 3/10/21 by her sister. The Sister came to the residence today and found the decedent in the bed. The M.E. responded along with PGPD Homicide. Report written

2003 hrs., 6400 block Fairborn Terrace/ Loud Music complaint, caller stated there was loud music coming from this location.  Officers arrived and located the party.  The owner was advised of the noise ordinance and turned the music down.  No Report.

 

2030 hrs., Fairbanks St at Carrollton Pkwy/ Sound of fireworks, officers heard the fireworks from a distance and located the area they were shot off at by the smell.  When officers arrived there were no persons in the area who may have set them off.  No Report.

 

2050 hrs., 6100 block of Lamont Dr/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.  No Report.

 

2112 hrs., 8200 block Legation Rd/ Hit and Run, caller stated his vehicle was struck in the front fender sometime last night.  When officers arrived the owner looked at it harder and stated he did not need our assistance that he would just fix it himself, it was not as bad as he first thought.  No Report. 

 

2155 hrs., 86th Ave and Freemont St/ Loud noise, caller stated there was loud noise coming from this area possibly music.  Officers checked the area with nothing found or heard.  No Report.

2356 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr/ Parking complaint, caller stated there was a vehicle parked in the handicapped space.  Officers checked the area and located the vehicle.  The vehicle did not have handicapped plates or a placard, therefore a ticket was issued.  No Report.

 

0020 hrs., 7700 block of Riverdale Rd/ Suspicious vehicle unoccupied, officers observed a white van stopped in the lane of travel on Riverdale Rd.  The vehicle was not occupied but as officers were checking it a male came up with a gas tank and the keys.  We waited while he filled the tank and was able to start the vehicle and leave the area safely.  No Report.

 

0038 hrs., 7700 block of Riverdale Rd/ Parking violations, while conducting a check of the area officers observed two vehicles parked in the "No parking, fire lane" at the end of the parking lot.  Officers issued tickets to the vehicles, No Report.

 

0100 hrs., Premise check/ Shops at New Carrollton, check clear.

 

0135 hrs., Premise check/ 5300-5400 block of 85th Ave, check clear.

0225 hrs., 8500 block Annapolis Rd/ Cutting, caller was the front desk of the hotel who stated there was a male that was cut in the parking lot and a female with scissors walked out after him.  Officers arrived and located the male who was bleeding from the arm.  When asked to stop and let us assist him he cussed at officers and said he did not want our help he just wanted his girlfriend.  Officers asked if he could give us information on her to attempt to locate her and again he cussed at officers and began to walk away.  Officers followed him into the hotel, due to staff not locking it like requested to, and advised him the hotel wanted him to leave.  Prince George's County officers assisted in the attempt to locate the female by searching the area surrounding the hotel, with negative results.  He began to argue and berate officers and stated he refused to leave.  Finally, all his belongings were gathered and he was escorted out of the hotel.  Officers continued to ask if he needed medical or police assistance and he continued to yell and refuse both.  The male refused to give officers any information and the front desk did not have his information, the room was registered to a female.  Due to the male no being cooperative no Report was written.

 

0332 hrs. 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr/ Notification, Prince George’s County Police (G sector) requested we make notification to a female at this address.  They needed her to respond to an incident in Capitol Heights to take custody of her daughter's children.  Her daughter was a Victim in a domestic and needed the children to go with family.  Officers made contact with the resident at this address given, and it was not the correct person.  PG was advised.  No Report.

 

0403 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Same as the call above but the Victim had another address.  Officers checked this address and again negative results, they were advised again.  No Report.

 

0412 hrs., 5800 block 84th Ave/ Party call, officers received an anonymous complaint that there was a party at this location.  Officers checked the area and the residence and did not see or hear any signs of a party. There was no information on a call to contact back with questions.  No Report.

0539 hrs., 8500 block Annapolis Rd/ Disorderly, caller stated the male returned from earlier and was bothering the desk clerk to call the ambulance.  Officers arrived and the male stated he wanted to go to the hospital.  Officers called for the ambulance and he was transported to PGH for treatment.  Again officers attempted to ascertain his information and he not so nicely refused again.  No Report.
