0658 hrs Vandalism – 5200 block 85th Ave. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for theft from automobile calls. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the complainant who advised that two of her vehicle tires had been cut and the body of the vehicle had been spray painted. Officers observed the damage to the vehicle. Officers advised the complainant on contacting her insurance company. Report Written

 

 

0755 hrs. Welfare Check – 5800 block Oland Dr. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a welfare check. Officers had to be to the location multiple times in the past twenty-four hours for the same type of incident. Officers advised the complainant again. No report. 

 

0851 hrs. Vandalism – 7500 block Riverdale Rd. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a call of vandalism. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the parties who advised they both resided at the listed location. Due to both individuals residing at the same location, the property was considered joint property. Both parties were advised that it was a civil matter. No report. 

 

0933 hrs. Domestic Incident – 5200 block 85th Ave. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a domestic incident. Upon arrival, officers were informed that the suspect was not on the scene, but had made verbal threats towards the victim. The complainant was advised that if the suspect came to the location, then to contact the police. No report. 

 

1032 hrs. Domestic Incident/Return Call – 5200 block 85th Ave. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a domestic incident. Officers were advised that eight people had shown up for a fight and that weapons might possibly be involved. Suspects were gone upon officer arrival, but a description of the suspect's vehicle was provided to officers. Officers canvassed the area with negative results. No report.

1213 hrs. Theft of Service – 8400 block Annapolis Rd. Officers responded to the listed location for theft of service. Upon arrival, the complainant refused police services. No report. 

 

1225 hrs. Animal Bite – 8500 block Oglethorpe St. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a dog on a dog bite. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the complainant who advised that her dog had been bit by another dog. Animal Control was called and they advised that they would be arriving to take over. No report.

 

1305 hrs. Traffic - Riverdale Rd. and Annapolis Rd. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a vehicle stopped in the middle of the roadway. Upon arrival, the vehicle was leaving the location without incident. No report. 

 

1320 hrs. Welfare Check – 6500 block Fairbanks St. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a welfare check. Upon arrival, officers located the individual on the floor after a fall. Prince Georges County Fire and EMS was called to transport the individual to the hospital for a medical examination. No report. 

 

1410 hrs. Welfare Check - 7400 block of Annapolis Rd. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a welfare check for an individual laying on the ground. Officers made contact with the individual who advised that he had stopped to rest and did not need medical assistance. No report. 

 

1538 hrs. Welfare Check - 85th Ave and Annapolis Rd. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a welfare check of an individual laying on the ground. Officers searched the surrounding area with negative results. No report. 

 

1551 hrs. Theft from Auto – 8600 block Annapolis Rd. During routine patrol, officers observed a vehicle with all four tires missing, and the right rear window was broken. The owner of the vehicle spoke to the officers and advised that after she had a police report earlier in the week, the remaining tire and an airbag had been stolen from her vehicle as well. Report written

0030 hrs., 8400 block Annapolis Rd/ Suspicious vehicle occupied, officer observed a vehicle parked and running in the closed shopping center.  Officers checked the vehicle and there was one occupant inside.  The driver stated he was just doing work on his computer.  He was advised and sent on his way.  No Report.

 

0100 hrs., Premise check/ Shops at New Carrollton, check clear.

 

0130 hrs., 6100 block 84th Ave/ Domestic standby, caller had left the area earlier and discovered her boyfriend was following her.  The incident happened in Prince George's County jurisdiction and they responded to the location the caller was at first.  She stated she needed to go to the above address, her residence, to get her daughter.  She wanted officers at the residence in case he came home while she was picking up the child.  Family members confirmed the child was hers and officers stood by while she got items to leave for the night.  No Report.

 

0204 hrs., 6600 block Chestnut St/ Dispute, caller stated her mother hit her when she opened the door.  Officers arrived and spoke to the mother who stated the caller shut the door in her face and she was upset so she pushed the door open.  The caller said she did not want our assistance and she was sorry she called.  The caller was an adult and there were no signs of injury to any party.  Due to the refusal of services, No Report.
