0717 HOURS- 911 HANG UP- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE. - OFFICERS WERE DISPATCHED TO THE LOCATION FOR A 911 HANGUP.  OFFICERS WERE DISCONTINUED ON SCENE, AS THE CALL WAS A MEDICAL CALL FOR SERVICE. HANDLED BY P.G.F.D.

0813 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  ALL CLEAR.

0831 HOURS- FIGHT- 7100 BLOCK GOOD LUCK RD.-  OFFICERS WERE APPROACHED BY SCHOOL STAFF ABOUT A FIGHT BETWEEN STUDENTS FROM FRIDAY AFTERNOON.  OFFICERS DETERMINED THE INCIDENT OCCURRED OFF OF SCHOOL PROPERTY AND OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS; HANDLED BY P.G.P.D.

0922 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8300 BLOCK CARROLLTON PKWY-  ALL CLEAR.

1055 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 6200 BLOCK 87TH AVE.-  ALL CLEAR.

1205 HOURS- DISORDERLY- 8200 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION FOR A COMPLAINT OF A MALE PANHANDLING AND HARASSING CUSTOMERS.  OFFICERS MET T/A MANAGEMENT; A CANVAS OF THE AREA WAS NEGATIVE FOR THE MALE.

1301 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8500 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  ALL CLEAR.

1338 HOURS- CHECK WELFARE- 7700 BLOCK RIVERDALE RD.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION TO CHECK THE WELFARE OF A MALE LAYING ON THE SIDEWALK.  P.G.F.D. RESPONDED AT OFFICERS REQUEST AND TRANSPORTED THE MALE TO DOCTORS HOSPITAL FOR MEDICAL ISSUES.

1426 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- PLAZA 30- ALL  CLEAR.

1535 HOURS- DISORDERLY- 6100 BLOCK LAMONT DR.-  OFFICERS WERE FLAGGED DOWN BY A CITIZEN WHO COMPLAINED OF CHILDREN PLAYING IN THE ROADWAY.  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE AREA, LOCATED SEVERAL CHILDREN PLAYING WITH A BASKETBALL; INVESTIGATION REVEALED THE BALL HAD ROLLED INTO THE ROADWAY AND THE CHILD HAD PURSUED IT, UPSETTING THE CITIZEN.  THE CHILDREN WERE ADVISED/CAUTIONED ABOUT PLAYING NEAR THE ROADWAY AS THEY WAITED FOR THEIR METRO BUS.

1611 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  ALL CLEAR.

1651 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  ALL CLEAR.

1721 HOURS- SUSPICIOUS PERSON- 8600 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION TO ASSIST AN OFF DUTY P.G.S.D. WITH TWO MALES GOING DOOR TO DOOR SOLICITING FOR ENERGY ASSISTANCE.  THE MALES WERE MET, THEIR IDENTITIES CONFIRMED AND THEY WERE ADVISED TO GET A CITY PERMIT.

1850 hrs., Check welfare 5300 block 85th Avenue  Police communications requested New Carrollton officers to respond to check on The Family Mobile Crisis Unit because of their failure to respond to dispatch. While in route, the Sam unit returned and advised they were ok. Officers received cancelation before arrival. No report.
1920 hrs., Commercial alarm 8000 block Annapolis road  accidental by a staff member, all doors, and windows checked ok, no crime occurred. No report.    
1958 hrs., Theft from Auto / 7300 block Gavin Street, Caller stated an unknown suspect made entry into his unsecured vehicle and stole his chainsaw making good of their escape. REPORT WRITTEN
2024 hrs., Death Notification 6400 block Fairborn Terrace, The caller reported she located her husband in the bedroom unresponsive. Upon officer’s arrival, paramedics were on scene performing all life-saving measurements on D-1. Sadly D-1 was pronounced. The Medical Examiner and Prince's George’s County Homicide unit were both notified, however; refused to respond due to the natural cause of death. Notification forwarded to command staff. The next of kin contacted a funeral home, who acknowledge and took custody of the deceased. REPORT WRITTEN
2027 hrs., Assist / 5300 block 85th Avenue / Return call; Prince George’s County Mobile Crisis team members requested NCPD officers to take custody (arrest) and transport their patient who meets their criteria for an emergency petition. Officers disclosed the department's policy and procedures to the caller who then agreed to have their patient transported by an ambulance to the hospital. The patient in question was not violent or combative and showed no signs to officers that might have changed the circumstances of this incident.  No report.    
2100 hrs., Check welfare 5500 block Karen Elaine Drive, An unknown citizen called to report a male had a medical emergency in front of the location. Officers responded and located the senior citizen who stated he was having difficulty to breathing. Prince Georges County ambulance arrived on the scene and transported the citizen to the hospital for medical assistance. No report.    
2130 hrs., Stolen Auto / 5400 block 85th Avenue, The caller reported her vehicle stolen. Fortunately, an impound inquiry showed the car impounded due to a parking violation. The caller advised. No report. 
2220 Hrs., Overdose 7700 block Riverdale Road , No overdose verified, the caller consumed expired milk that's forty-eight hours past due to its expiration date. Paramedics arrived, provided their assessment, and the caller was advised she will be alright. No report.  
2251 Hrs., Sexual Assault 8400 block Malissa street, Caller reported her Juvenile daughter sexually was assaulted on 06/17/18 at a friend’s residence located in District Heights Maryland (Outside City Jurisdiction). Officers made notification to Prince George's County C.I.D Sex Crimes Unit, who assumed all investigations responsibility, the caller and her daughter responded to District Three for further investigation. No report.

0150 Hrs., Premise Check 8400 block Annapolis Road all clear.
0220 Hrs., Commercial Alarm 7700 block Riverdale Road / No signs of forced entry, all doors and windows secured, no report. 
0252 Hrs., Vehicle Alarm 5500 block Karen Elaine Drive, An unknown caller reported a Vehicle’s Alarm continuing to sound off and disturbing the peace. Officers responded and found nothing, a canvass of the area revealed nothing. No report. 
0341 Hrs., Premise Check / 5200-5400 block of 85th avenue / all clear.
0422 Hrs., Premise Check / 5500 block of Karen Elaine drive / all clear.
0518 Hrs., Premise Check 8500 block Annapolis road / all clear.

  0630 hrs., Premise check/ Shoppers Food (Foot Patrol), check clear.   0645 hrs., Premise check/ Lowe's, check clear.   0700 hrs., 8000 block Powhattan St/ Suspicious persons, caller stated there was a person sleeping inside of a vehicle parked in front of their residence.  Officers located the vehicle and the persons inside sleeping.  Officers checked the individuals and the vehicle and observed nothing illegal at this time.  The individuals were advised and sent on their way.  Report written   0745 hrs., Premise check/ 7-11, check clear.   0821 hrs., 7600 block Fountainbleau Dr/ 911 Hang-up, communications stated there was a call from this address but prior to getting any information the phone hung up.  On callback communications stated there was no answer, only a prerecorded message.  Officers checked the rental office and it was locked and secure with no one inside.  No Report.   0847 hrs., 86...
