0700 hrs., Business check/ Carrollton Enterprise, check clear.

0730 hrs., Residential check/ Heritage Square Apartments, check clear.

0815 hrs., Business check/ Darcars, check clear.

0900 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in the building hallways, laundry rooms, front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

0935 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr. / Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in the building hallways, laundry rooms, front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

1000 hrs., 8300 block Carrollton Pkwy/ Traffic hazard, tree had fallen down and blocked the roadway.  Officers made notification to Public Works who came out and removed the tree from the roadway.  Roadway cleared without incident.

1100 hrs., Carrollton Pkwy at Lamont Dr. and Lamont Dr. at Westbrook Dr. / Officers observed the waterways becoming extremely high from the hard rainfall.  Notification was made and no roadways had to be shut down at this time. 

1130 hrs., Carrollton Pkwy and Lamont Dr. / Possible animal in danger, Officers were flagged down by citizens about a dog they believed was in the waterway and possibly drowning.  Officers got close enough to assist the animal when it was determined it was a Beaver.  Officers let the beaver swim off in its natural habitat.

1245 hrs., Metro PCS/ Disorderly, caller stated there was a female customer who was yelling and she refused to leave the store.  Officers arrived to talk to the female who was just upset because the store ran out of receipt paper and she could not get a receipt for her purchase.  She left without incident and advised what she could do.

1252 hrs., 6600 block Chestnut St/ Family dispute, caller stated her mother was abusing her but refused to give details to the call taker.  Officers arrived and spoke to both parties involved in the altercation and the caller was placed under arrest and transported to Department of Corrections for processing.  The Mother refused fire board and advised her other daughter would take her to the hospital.  She was provided all of the information to contact for Family Intervention Crisis Center.  REPORT WRITTEN

1345 hrs., Lamont Dr. at Carrollton Pkwy/ Check on the waterways for possible flooding, all clear so far.

1410 hrs., Business check/ Beckett Field, check clear.

1430 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Vandalism, caller stated her friends vehicle had damage.  Officers arrived on scene and located the vehicle (there was damage observed), however the caller had no information about the vehicle or the owner.  She was advised to have him call when he gets home in order for us to have all the proper information to complete a report.

1500 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

1530 hrs., Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

1550 hrs., 7700 block Annapolis Rd/ Assist Prince George's County Police with an intoxicated male, cleared without incident.

1640 hrs., 7600 block Fountainebleau Dr. / Family Dispute, caller stated she and her father were fighting about her not wanting to go with him when he left the residence.  The father was not on scene at this time.  The caller was advised on what action she can take.

****With the heavy rains today Officers kept a close watch on the waterways within the city and made any notifications necessary****

1950 hrs., Premise Check- 8400 block Annapolis Rd / All Clear

2009 hrs., Premise Check- Metro Points Hotel / All Clear

2051 hrs., Premise Check- 7200 block Longbranch Dr. / All Clear

2056 hrs., Premise Check- 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / All Clear

2142 hrs., Hit N Run- 8300 block Annapolis Rd/ Unit 1 and Unit 2 were in an accident. Unit fled the scene without exchanging information. REPORT WRITTEN

2155 hrs., Assist/ 6500 block Riverdale Rd / PGPD needed assistance with multiple suspects fleeing from an assault. Officers assisted with translation and nothing else.

2220 hrs., Hit & Run/ 5300 block 85th Ave a witness observed a vehicle strike another and flee without providing their information. REPORT WRITTEN

2242 hrs., Check Welfare/ Veterans @ Annapolis Rd / PGPD while transporting a subject observed a male walking in the middle of the road. The male was extremely intoxicated. EMS responded and transported the male to the hospital 

2304 hrs., Premise Check/ 5500 block of Karen Elaine Dr. / area was clear

2318 hrs., Fight/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd / roommates having a dispute. The female roommates were having a verbal dispute. The roommates were advised again, to seek relief through the commissioner's office

2345 hrs., Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd / store closing for the evening.

0030 hrs., Premise Check/ 5400 block 85th Ave area was clear

0120 hrs., Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd area was clear

0300 hrs., Premise Check/ 8100 block Annapolis Rd lot was clear

0400 hrs., Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd business, as usual, no issues reported
