0755 HOURS- ACCIDENT- 5300 BLOCK 85TH AVE.- UNIT 1 FAILED TO YIELD RIGHT OF WAY AND WAS STRUCK BY UNIT 2, CAUSING BOTH VEHICLES TO BE DISABLED.  NO INJURIES REPORTED; BOTH VEHICLES WERE IMPOUNDED BY CHARLIE'S FOR SAFEKEEPING.  A.C.R.S. COMPLETED. REPORT WRITTEN

0905 HOURS- VANDALISM- 8300 BLOCK SPRAGUE PL.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION AFTER THE CALLER REPORTED AN UNKNOWN SUSPECT DAMAGED HER VEHICLE.  OFFICERS DOCUMENTED THE DAMAGE, PROVIDED THE CALLER WITH CASE NUMBERS AND ADVISED HER TO CONTACT HER INSURANCE CARRIER. REPORT WRITTEN

0910 HOURS- ACCIDENT- 85TH AVE. /ANNAPOLIS RD.- UNIT 1 FAILED TO YIELD RIGHT OF WAY AND WAS STRUCK BY UNIT 2, CAUSING BOTH VEHICLES TO BE DISABLED.  NO INJURIES REPORTED; BOTH VEHICLES WERE REMOVED FROM SCENE BY PRIVATE TOW COMPANIES AT THE OWNERS REQUESTS.  A.C.R.S. COMPLETED.   REPORT WRITTEN

1020 HOURS- CIVIL DISPUTE- 5300 BLOCK 85TH AVE. - OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION AFTER THE CALLER COMPLAINED SHE WAS MISSING PROPERTY AFTER MOVING.  OFFICERS DETERMINED THE ISSUE WAS CIVIL AS THE CALLER WAS DISPUTING MOVING COST WITH HER MOVING COMPANY AND THE ITEMS WERE LAST IN HER POSSESSION IN HYATTSVILLE.  THE CALLER WAS REFERRED TO THE COURTS FOR SERVICES; NO THEFT VERIFIED.

1140 HOURS- ACCIDENT- 7500 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.- UNIT 1 STRUCK UNIT 2 CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO BOTH VEHICLES.  UNIT 1 PROVIDED UNIT 2 WITH ALL RELEVANT INFORMATION, AND THEN LEFT THE SCENE.  OFFICERS CONFIRMED THE INFORMATION FOR UNIT 2.

1212 HOURS- ARMED PERSON- 8500 BLOCK MADISON ST.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION FOR AN ANONYMOUS CALL OF TWO ARMED MEN ASSAULTING A FEMALE.  OFFICERS DISCOVERED THE RESIDENCE WAS UNOCCUPIED; THE BASEMENT WAS UNSECURED AND OFFICERS ENTERED THE RESIDENCE, CLEARING IT FOR THE SUSPECTS.  A RETURN CALL TO THE CALLER WAS ATTEMPTED BY DISPATCH BUT THE NUMBER WAS DISCONNECTED FROM SERVICE.

1251 HOURS- CHECK WELFARE- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION FOR A MALE WHO WAS LEANING AGAINST A POST, DISORIENTED.  OFFICERS MADE CONTACT WITH THE CALLER AND THE MALE, WHO WAS EXPERIENCING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY.  THE MALE WAS TRANSPORTED TO DOCTORS HOSPITAL BY P.G.F.D. 

1314 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  ALL CLEAR.

1412 HOURS- TAMPERING- 7600 BLOCK FOUNTAINBLEAU DR. -  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION FOR A TAMPERING.  THE CALLER BELIEVED SOMEONE TAMPERED WITH HER DOOR LOCK AFTER SHE WAS UNABLE TO ACCESS HER APARTMENT.  OFFICERS DISCOVERED THE CALLER ATTEMPTED TO USE THE WRONG KEY AND ONCE CORRECTED, SHE ACCESSED HER RESIDENCE.

1552 HOURS- ATTEMPT THEFT- 7700 BLOCK RIVERDALE RD.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE SHOPPERS FOR A COMPLAINT OF TWO SUSPECTS 
WHO ATTEMPTED TO TAKE FOOD, BUT FLED THE SCENE AFTER BEING CONFRONTED BY T/A EMPLOYEE'S.  NO THEFT WAS VERIFIED AND THE SUSPECTS WERE G.O.A.; A CANVAS OF THE AREA WAS NEGATIVE.

1631 HOURS- TRAFFIC HAZARD- 8800 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE AREA FOR A DISABLED VEHICLE BLOCKING THE TRAVEL LANES.   OFFICERS DIRECTED TRAFFIC UNTIL A PRIVATE TOW COMPANY REMOVED THE VEHICLE FROM THE ROADWAY.

1800 Hrs., Domestic 5800 block Nystrom Street, Caller reported she was involved in a verbal dispute with her husband over her drinking problems. When officers arrived on the scene, the caller stated she wanted her husband to leave so she can sleep. Both parties refused further police services and a report. Both parties advised of how to obtain a temporary peace/protective orders through the District Court. No documentation.

1932 Hrs., Premise Check 8400 block Annapolis Road / all clear 
2028 Hrs., Premise Check / 5200-5400 block of 85th avenue / all clear.
2130 Hrs., Property Damage / 5300 block 85th avenue / Caller reported she parked her 2018 black Nissan Altima in the parking lot overnight and upon her return noticed damages on her driver side door. The caller was provided with the incident number to submit to her insurance company. REPORT WRITTEN
2205 Hrs., Return Call 5800 block Nystrom Street, The husband called this time, to report his wife acting belligerent. When officers arrived, the caller and his wife were inside their vehicle together attempting to depart the area. The caller stated he no longer required police services because he's transporting his wife to her mother's house in Washington, D.C. The wife as well, said she did not need police services and only wanted to leave. No documentation.
2310 Hrs., Assist 7500 block Annapolis Road / NCPD responded to assist for a commercial alarm; everything secured, no signs of a crime detected. No report.      
0030 Hrs., Premise Check / Karen Elaine drive and Fontainebleau drive community, all clear.
0110 Hrs., Premise Check 8100 block Annapolis Road / all clear.
0130 Hrs., Assist Veterans Parkway & Exit ramp to 50 East, Prince George's County Police requested assistance for a suspiciously occupied vehicle stopped on the side of the road. No criminal activity observed, the driver needed help to change his front tire. No report.
