0800 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr. / Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in the building hallways, laundry rooms, front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

0822 hrs., 5800 block Lamont Dr. / Property Damage, caller stated sometime during the night her vehicle was damaged in an unknown manner.  There is no evidence or information to explain what actually occurred. REPORT WRITTEN

0900 hrs., Business check/ City of New Carrollton Pool, check clear.

0930 hrs., School check/ Charles Carroll Middle School, check clear.

1000 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

1025 hrs., Business check/ Carrollton Enterprise, check clear.

1105 hrs., Business check/ Metro Points Hotel (Foot Patrol) for an event going on, check clear.

1230 hrs., Business check/ Beckett Field, check clear.

1305 hrs., CVS/ Disorderly Person, caller was an employee who stated that there were males standing outside of the business.  She believes they may be some of the same males that come into the store and steal items.  The males were gone prior to Officers arrival.

1345 hrs., Business check/ Metro Points Hotel (Foot Patrol) for an event going on, check clear.

1415 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

1445 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr. / Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in the building hallways, laundry rooms, front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

1526 hrs., 5800 block Oland Dr. / Traffic complaint, caller stated their neighbor was outside fixing their car and they are not allowed.  Officers drove through the area and observed a vehicle having minor work done to get the car running.  The vehicle was being worked on in the driveway and no violations were being committed.  

1600 hrs., Business check/ Beckett Field, check clear.

1630 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

1744 Unknown Trouble/ 5700 block 85th Ave / male didn’t want to go in the house due to issues. After speaking with him, he was provided numbers to the shelter 

1823 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. / area was clear, no suspicious activity observed 

1850 Premise Check/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / area was clear, no suspicious activity observed 

1920 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd / area was clear, normal business 

1943 Disorderly/ 7800 block Riverdale Rd 

1959 Recovered Firearm/ 7400 block Riverdale Rd / subject failed to stop and crashed into another vehicle causing injury to himself and the other driver. While providing medical treatment to the subject, officers found a loaded handgun in his waistband. The weapon was not stolen and not registered. All injured parties were transported to UMPGH for treatment. Warrant applied for the subject. Vehicles involved were impounded and NC 3 was notified. REPORT WRITTEN

2215 Premise Check/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd / no issues reported 

2247 Family Dispute/ 8200 block Legation Rd 

0025 Suspicious Person/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd / male standing on the side of the building. Upon arrival, the male was summoned and was from an earlier call for service. The male lives at 5700 block 85th Ave but refuses to go in the residence. He was checked for warrants with negative results. He was photographed and sent on his way.
