0552 hrs., Found Property/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd / Officer was on a routine patrol when he observed a license plate on the ground. The license plate was recovered and placed into NCPD property to be returned to the MVA. REPORT WRITTEN

0600 hrs., Premise Check/ 5800 block Westbrook Dr./ All Clear.

0700 hrs., Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd / All Clear.

0800 hrs., Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd / All Clear.

0838 hrs., Theft from Auto/ 5400 block 85th Ave/ Caller stated his ex-boyfriend was using his social security number to file his W-2 forms. Caller advised officer that his ex-boyfriend had been doing this to him for years. Caller advised his ex-boyfriend is locked up in Howard County. REPORT WRITTEN

0900 hrs., Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd (Lowes)/ All Clear.

1020 hrs., Premise Check/ 6100 block Lamont Dr.  / All Clear.

1106 hrs., Assault/ 8500 block 85th Ave / Caller reported a staff member was assaulted by a guest. Officers responded and spoke to the caller who advised the staff member was trying to clean the guest room up because there was not a do not disturb sign. Caller advised the guest started using derogatory words towards the staff member and slammed the door, hitting the staff member in the chest. The guest was advised she had to leave the premises but started to refuse to leave. Once officers removed the guest from the room she began to get irate and started yelling causing other guest to stop and stare at the situation. The guest was placed in handcuffs and transported to Hyattsville D.O.C for processing. REPORT WRITTEN

1200 hrs., Premise Check/ 8100 block Gavin St/ All Clear. 

1244 hrs., Suspicious Person/ 7300 block Goodluck Rd/ Caller stated 2 juveniles stopped her and asked her for a ride to 7 Eleven. Officers responded to the scene and observed the 2 juveniles walking down the street. Officers stopped the juveniles and asked them where are they supposed to be. They advised officers they were supposed to be at Parkdale High School. Officers transported the juveniles back to school and released them to the school staff. REPORT WRITTEN

1344 hrs., Disorderly/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd/ Caller stated her granddaughter had smoked some marijuana that she thinks was laced with PCP. Officers arrived on scene and observed the caller’s granddaughter acting irate and was uncooperative with officers. Officers placed the granddaughter and transported her to UMPGH for an Eps. REPORT WRITTEN

1521 hrs., Disorderly/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd/ Caller stated a male subject kept coming into the T/A causing problems with the other customers. Officers responded to the scene but the subject in question was GOA prior to Officers arrival.

1627 hrs., Welfare Check/ 5800 block Mentana St/ Caller stated she wanted to have her grandson served with a peace order. Officers responded to the scene and spoke with caller’s grandson. While officers were trying to explain to the grandson about the peace order he assaulted an officer. The grandson was immediately put to the ground and was placed under arrest. He was transported to Hyattsville D.O.C for processing. REPORT WRITTEN

1733 hrs., Mps/ 6016 Princess Garden Pkwy/ Citizen entered the station and reported her juvenile son had allegedly been sexually assaulted by another juvenile. Further investigation revealed Child Protective Services had an open investigation pending. Citizen was advised that a case was already opened and being investigated. REPORT WRITTEN

1825 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  REPEATED COMPLAINTS OF MALES DRINKING, SMOKING C.D.S., AND GAMBLING IN THE AREA.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, CANVASED THE COMPLEX, BUT DID NOT OBSERVE ANY SUSPICIOUS OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES AT THAT TIME.  

1842 HOURS- ALARM CALL- 6600 BLOCK AUBURN AVE.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION FOR A BASEMENT MOTION ALARM.  THE RESIDENCE WAS SECURE, WITH NO SIGNS OF DAMAGE OR FORCED ENTRY; UNKNOWN CAUSE FOR THE ALARM ACTIVATION.  

1912 HOURS- ASSIST CALL- 7700 BLOCK FINNS LN.- OFFICER'S ASSISTED PG COUNTY POLICE IN LOCATING A CRIME SCENE, THE CALLER STATED HE WAS SHOT ON FINNS LN BUT DIDN'T KNOW THE EXACT LOCATION. HANDLED BY PGPD.

1940 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.- ALL CLEAR. 

2015 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 7700 BLOCK RIVERDALE RD.- ALL CLEAR.

2050 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 7700 BLOCK RIVERDALE RD.- ALL CLEAR.

2115 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8500 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.- ALL CLEAR. 

2140 HOUR- ALARM CALL- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION FOR A MAIN ENTRANCE ALARM.  THE BUSINESS WAS SECURE, WITH NO SIGNS OF DAMAGE OR FORCED ENTRY; UNKNOWN CAUSE FOR THE ALARM ACTIVATION.   

2200 HOURS- UNOCCUPIED SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE- 5200 BLOCK 85TH AVE.- THE CALLER STATED THAT A VEHICLE WAS PARKED AT THE LOCATION WITH ITS FLASHERS ON. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPORTED STOLEN AND IT WAS LEGALLY PARKED. 

2210 HOURS- ACCIDENT CALL- 7500 BLOCK OF ANNAPOLIS RD. -  UNIT 1 STRUCK UNIT 2 CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO BOTH VEHICLES.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, AND FACILITATED AN EXCHANGE OF REQUIRED INFORMATION ON SCENE.  

2245 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 5500 BLOCK KAREN ELAINE DR.-  ALL CLEAR.   

2128 HOURS- SUICIDAL CALL- 7600 BLOCK FOUNTAINEBLEAU DR .- THIRD PARTY CALLER STATED THAT A PERSON IS HAVING A SUICIDAL THOUGHTS. OFFICERS KNOCKED AT THE RESIDENCE, AND SPOKE TO NEIGHBORS, BUT YIELDED NEGATIVE RESULT. 

0000 HOURS- SUSPICIOUS PERSON- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.- WHILE ON ROUTINE PATROL OFFICERS STOPPED A MALE SUBJECT WHO WAS OBSERVED  PANHANDLING. THE MALE WAS IDENTIFIED, CHECKED NEGATIVE, PHOTOGRAPHED, ADVISED AND SENT HIM ON HIS WAY. REPORT WRITTEN
