0705 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  REPEATED COMPLAINTS OF MALES DRINKING, SMOKING C.D.S., AND GAMBLING IN THE AREA.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, CANVASED THE COMPLEX, BUT DID NOT OBSERVE ANY SUSPICIOUS OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES AT THAT TIME.

0735 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 5500 BLOCK KAREN ELAINE DR.-  ALL CLEAR.

0831 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8500 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  ALL CLEAR.

0914 HOURS- WARRANT ARREST- 8500 BLOCK MENTANA ST. -  OFFICER'S PATROLLING THE CITY WERE FLAGGED DOWN BY A CITIZEN WHO STATED THAT HE HAS AN OPEN WARRANT. THE WARRANT WAS CONFIRMED THROUGH POLICE COMMUNICATIONS, AND THE ARRESTED WAS TRANSPORTED TO HYATTSVILLE DOC. REPORT WRITTEN

1030 HOURS- RESIDENTIAL CHECK/ GAVIN ST, HARLAND ST, & RYCROFT RD.-  ALL CLEAR.

1040 HOURS- THEFT CALL – 7800 BLOCK RIVERDALE RD - THE VICTIM STATED THAT SHE PLACED ORDER ONLINE AND HER ITEMS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE DELIVERED ON 01/15/18 BUT SHE NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING. THE VICTIM WAS PROVIDED WITH CASE NUMBERS AND SHE WAS ADVISED. REPORT WRITTEN

1145 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK/ 7-ELEVEN-   ALL CLEAR.

1235 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK/ LOWE'S-   ALL CLEAR.

1320 HOURS- DISORDERLY- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  A CUSTOMER STATED THAT HIS PRODUCT WAS FAULTY AND HE WANTED TO RETURN IT, OFFICER'S TALKED TO THE MANAGER AND THE CUSTOMER WAS ADVISED TO CONTACT CORPORATE SERVICES TO FILE A COMPLAINT.  CIVIL DISPUTE, NO POLICE ACTION TAKEN.

1346 HOURS- SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE- 87th AVE & LEGATION RD.- WHILE PATROLLING OFFICER'S OBSERVED A SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE PARKED AT THE LOCATION.  THE VEHICLE WAS OCCUPIED, THE OCCUPANTS WERE IDENTIFIED, CHECKED NEGATIVE, PHOTOGRAPHED, THE DRIVER ISSUED TRAFFIC CITATIONS, THE PASSENGER (JUVENILE) WAS TRANSPORTED TO NORTHWESTERN HIGH SCHOOL AND RELEASED TO ADMINISTRATORS.

1443 HOURS- DISORDERLY CALL- 8500 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD -HOTEL STAFF STATED THAT THERE WAS A FEMALE IN THE LOBBY BEING DISORDERLY, BY THE TIME OFFICER'S ARRIVED ON SCENE, THE FEMALE WAS GOA. 

1520 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  ALL CLEAR.

1615 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  REPEATED COMPLAINTS OF MALES DRINKING, SMOKING C.D.S., AND GAMBLING IN THE AREA.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, CANVASED THE COMPLEX, BUT DID NOT OBSERVE ANY SUSPICIOUS OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES AT THAT TIME.

1700 HOURS- TRAFFIC COMPLAIN- LAMONT DR & RIVERDALE RD.- COMMUNICATIONS ADVISED THAT A VEHICLE BLOCKING THE TRAVEL LANES. OFFICER'S RESPONDED TO THE LOI AND REMOVED THE VEHICLE OUT OF THE WAY. THE DRIVER TOW TRUCK WAS IN ROUTE.


1814 hrs., Traffic Complaint – 7700 block Riverdale Road - Car blocking lanes of travel / All Clear

1850 hrs., Premise Check - Plaza 30 / All Clear

1855 hrs., Shoplifter – 7700 block Riverdale Road - Shoplifter in custody that’s uncooperative/ Loss Prevention decided not to prosecute and subject was sent on his way

1942 hrs., Found Property – 5500 block Karen Elaine Drive - Caller reported they found a wallet and wanted to turn it in /

2010 hrs., Premise Check - 5500 block of Karen Elaine Drive / All Clear

2020 hrs., Premise Check - 7-Eleven / All Clear

2106 hrs, Premise Check - Metro Points Hotel / All Clear

2202 hrs., Premise Check - I.H.O.P. / All Clear

2239 hrs., Commercial Alarm – 7700 block Riverdale Road - Alarm activated from rear delivery door / Accidental by employee taking out trash

2315 hrs., Premise Check - 5200-5400 block of 85th Avenue / All Clear

0040 hrs., Premise Check - 5200-5400 block of 85th Avenue / All Clear

0050 hrs., Premise Check - Heritage Square Apts. / All Clear

0236 hrs., Domestic - Doctors Hospital - Caller reported female was assaulted by her children’s father which caused her to become  unconscious (Location of Incident is 8400 block Cathedral Avenue). Upon her regaining consciousness, she sought medical assistance. Officers attempted to apprehend subject for assault and open warrants when he fled on foot making good his escape. Area canvassed with negative results. New Carrollton Warrant Pending. Female provided housing through D/V intake / REPORT WRITTEN

  0630 hrs., Premise check/ Shoppers Food (Foot Patrol), check clear.   0645 hrs., Premise check/ Lowe's, check clear.   0700 hrs., 8000 block Powhattan St/ Suspicious persons, caller stated there was a person sleeping inside of a vehicle parked in front of their residence.  Officers located the vehicle and the persons inside sleeping.  Officers checked the individuals and the vehicle and observed nothing illegal at this time.  The individuals were advised and sent on their way.  Report written   0745 hrs., Premise check/ 7-11, check clear.   0821 hrs., 7600 block Fountainbleau Dr/ 911 Hang-up, communications stated there was a call from this address but prior to getting any information the phone hung up.  On callback communications stated there was no answer, only a prerecorded message.  Officers checked the rental office and it was locked and secure with no one inside.  No Report.   0847 hrs., 86...
