0730 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd -business, as usual, no issues observed

0845 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd -(Commercial) area was clear, no suspicious activity observed 

0940 Premise Check/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd -no issues reported, met with staff

0955 Residential Alarm/ 6100 block 85th Pl -accidental by resident on scene 

1001 Residential Check/ 5800 block 84th Ave- resident stated house was shaking. Attempted to make contact with resident, no answer at the door

1130 Suspicious Veh. Unoccupied/ 6100 block 84th Ave -vehicle with VA plates had a paper copy stating tag was stolen. The tags were not reported via dispatch. Unable to locate owner at this time

1150 Accident/ 7500 block Riverdale Rd -with the assistance of officer’s, parties exchanged information 

1230 Premise Check/ 7800 block Riverdale Rd- met with management, no issues reported

1305 Disorderly/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd -male urinating in the lobby. 

1330 Fraud Arrest/ 8200 block Annapolis Rd-male attempted open an account with a fake passport and driver's license. The suspect was transported to Hyattsville DOC. While being processed, it was discovered A-1 had an open warrant NC4 was notified and a copy of the report will be forwarded. REPORT WRITTEN

1445 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. - area was clear, no suspicious activity observed 

1525 Property Damage/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd -unknown suspect scraped the side of the complainant's vehicle. REPORT WRITTEN

1605 Child/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. - child walked to a friend’s house and knocked on the wrong door. The complainant was concerned and wanted police to help. The child was on the wrong floor but was located at the unit above the complainant with his siblings.

1640 Premise Check/ 6100 block Karen Elaine Dr. - area was clear

1815 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD. - ALL CLEAR.

1845 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK-8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD. - ALL CLEAR.

1935 HOURS- TRAFFIC COMPLAINT- 6100 BLOCK LAMONT DR.. - CALLER REPORTED NEIGHBOR PARKED IN FRONT OF HER DRIVEWAY. OFFICERS ARRIVED ON SCENE AND OBSERVED THE VEHICLE TO BE LEGALLY PARKED AND NOT BLOCKING THE DRIVEWAY. THE CALLER WAS ADVISED.

1945 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 7700 BLOCK RIVERDALE RD. - ALL CLEAR

2015 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 5500 BLOCK KAREN ELAINE DR. - ALL CLEAR.

2030 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE. - ALL CLEAR.

2100 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 7700 BLOCK RIVERDALE RD. - ALL CLEAR

2150 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD. - ALL CLEAR.

2200 HOURS- RESIDENTIAL ALARM – 5800 BLOCK NYSTROM ST -  ALARM ACTIVATION FROM KEYPAD. OFFICERS RESPONDED, AND DISCOVERED THE RESIDENCE SECURE WITH NO SIGNS OF DAMAGE OR FORCED ENTRY. THE ALARM WAS SET OFF ACCIDENTALLY BY HOMEOWNER.

2215 HOURS- SUSPICIOUS OCCUPIED VEHICLE- 8300 BLOCK CARROLLTON PKWY.  OFFICERS OBSERVED VEHICLE IN AN UNLIT AREA WITH TWO OCCUPANTS IN THE FRONT SEATS. OFFICERS MADE CONTACT WITH OCCUPANTS WHO ADVISED THEY HAD JUST GOTTEN OFF WORK AND DECIDED TO SIT IN THE VEHICLE AND HAVE A CONVERSATION BEFORE GOING INTO RESIDENCE. THEY BOTH WERE ADVISED AND WENT INTO THEIR RESIDENCE.    

2230 HOURS- LANDLORD TENANT DISPUTE-6200 BLOCK 85TH PL- CALLER REPORTED HIS TENANT IN THE BASEMENT WAS BEING LOUD AND DISORDERLY. OFFICERS ARRIVED ON SCENE AND MET WITH CALLER WHO WAS INTOXICATED. OFFICERS MADE CONTACT WITH TENANT WHO WAS COOKING DINNER FOR HIS FRIENDS AND FAMILY. THE TENANT TOLD OFFICERS THE CALLER WAS INTOXICATED AND CONTINUED TO COME DOWNSTAIRS TO BOTHER THEM. THE TENANT AND CALLER WERE BOTH ADVISED AND AGREED TO BE CORDIAL FOR THE EVENING.

2315 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 6100 BLOCK LAMONT DR. - ALL CLEAR

2330 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE. - ALL CLEAR

0000 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD. - ALL CLEAR.

0030 HOURS- SUSPICIOUS OCCUPIED VEHICLE- 8300 BLOCK SPRAGUE PL.  OFFICERS OBSERVED VEHICLE RUNNING WITH ONE OCCUPANT IN THE FRONT SEAT ASLEEP. OFFICERS MADE CONTACT WITH OCCUPANT WHO ADVISED HE HAD FALLEN ASLEEP AFTER PARKING HIS CAR IN FRONT OF HIS RESIDENCE. OCCUPANT SECURED HIS VEHICLE AND ENTERED HIS RESIDENCE. 

0110 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK= 7500 BLOCK GOOD LUCK RD.-  ALL CLEAR.

0115 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 5500 BLOCK KAREN ELAINE DR. - ALL CLEAR.

0120 HOURS- UNKNOWN TROUBLE- DARCARS DODGE- 911 OPEN LINE WITH STATIC FROM THE T/A.  OFFICERS RESPONDED AND EVERYTHING CHECKED CLEAR. 

0140 HOURS- UNKNOWN TROUBLE- DARCARS DODGE- 911 OPEN LINE WITH STATIC FROM THE T/A.  OFFICERS WERE DISCONTINUED FROM RESPONDING, AS THIS IS AN ON-GOING TECHNICAL ISSUE WITH THE T/A PHONE LINES.

0200 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 7700 BLOCK RIVERDALE RD. - ALL CLEAR.

0230 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE. - ALL CLEAR

0300 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 5500 BLOCK KAREN ELAINE DR. - ALL CLEAR.


0315 HOURS- SIG 26 FOR DISTRICT 1 - DUE TO ROAD CONDITIONS A SIG 26 WAS PUT INTO EFFECT. OFFICERS STAGED AT T/A (7 ELEVEN).

  0630 hrs., Premise check/ Shoppers Food (Foot Patrol), check clear.   0645 hrs., Premise check/ Lowe's, check clear.   0700 hrs., 8000 block Powhattan St/ Suspicious persons, caller stated there was a person sleeping inside of a vehicle parked in front of their residence.  Officers located the vehicle and the persons inside sleeping.  Officers checked the individuals and the vehicle and observed nothing illegal at this time.  The individuals were advised and sent on their way.  Report written   0745 hrs., Premise check/ 7-11, check clear.   0821 hrs., 7600 block Fountainbleau Dr/ 911 Hang-up, communications stated there was a call from this address but prior to getting any information the phone hung up.  On callback communications stated there was no answer, only a prerecorded message.  Officers checked the rental office and it was locked and secure with no one inside.  No Report.   0847 hrs., 86...
