0606 HOURS- SOUND OF GUNSHOTS- 5500 BLOCK KAREN ELAINE DR.-  ANONYMOUS CALLER REPORTED HEARING APPROXIMATELY 15 GUNSHOTS IN THE AREA.  OFFICERS RESPONDED AND CANVASED THE AREA WITH NEGATIVE RESULTS; SEVERAL CITIZENS IN THE AREA STATED THE SOUND WAS HEARD COMING FROM THE 7700 BLOCK OF FINNS LANE; PGPD CANVASED THAT AREA WITH NEGATIVE RESULTS.

0640 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  REPEATED COMPLAINTS OF MALES DRINKING, SMOKING C.D.S., AND GAMBLING IN THE AREA.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, CANVASED THE COMPLEX, BUT DID NOT OBSERVE ANY SUSPICIOUS OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES AT THAT TIME.

0725 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 7700 BLOCK RIVERDALE RD.-  ALL CLEAR.

0745 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 7700 BLOCK RIVERDALE RD.-  ALL CLEAR.

0827 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- OAK LANE PARK- REPEATED CITIZEN COMPLAINTS OF MALES LOITERING AND SMOKING C.D.S. AT THE PARK.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, CONDUCTED A CANVAS OF THE AREA, BUT DID NOT OBSERVE ANY SUSPICIOUS OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITY AT THIS TIME.

0905 HOURS- RESIDENTIAL ALARM- 5800 BLOCK MENTANA ST.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION FOR A SIDE DOOR ALARM.  OFFICERS DISCOVERED THE RESIDENCE SECURE WITH NO SIGNS OF FORCED ENTRY; UNKNOWN CAUSE FOR THE ALARM.

0925 HOURS- ASSIST ANIMAL CONT. - 5900 BLOCK WESTBROOK DR.-  OFFICERS ASSISTED ANIMAL CONTROL WITH THE REMOVAL OF SEVERAL HOUSEHOLD PETS, WHO WERE NEGLECTED BY THEIR OWNER.  HANDLED BY ANIMAL CONTROL.

1046 HOURS- IDENTITY THEFT- 8300 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO VALUE CITY FURNITURE FOR REPORT OF A FRAUDULENT PURCHASE OF FURNITURE.  MANAGEMENT WAS ADVISED TO CONTACT OFFICERS WHEN THE SUSPECT ARRIVED TO PICK UP THE FURNITURE. 

1110 HOURS- SUSPICIOUS PERSON- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE 7-ELEVEN AFTER MANAGEMENT COMPLAINED OF A HOMELESS FEMALE PANHANDLING AND HARASSING CUSTOMERS.  THE FEMALE WAS STOPPED, IDENTIFIED (RUTH WOLDEAB), ADVISED AND SENT ON HER WAY, AS SHE HAD PURCHASED FOOD ITEMS FROM THE T/A.

1135 HOURS- FRAUD ARREST- 8300 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  VALUE CITY MANAGEMENT REPORTED A SUSPECT WAS ON SCENE TO PICK UP MERCHANDISE PAID FOR BY FRAUDULENT MEANS.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, THE SUSPECT FLED THE SCENE ON FOOT AND WAS APPREHENDED AFTER A SHORT PURSUIT AND CANVAS OF THE AREA.  THE SUSPECT WAS POSITIVELY IDENTIFIED BY T/A EMPLOYEES, AND TRANSPORTED TO UPPER MARLBORO D.O.C. FOR PROCESSING.  NCPD1, NCPD3, AND DET, ROBINSON WERE ON SCENE. REPORT WRITTEN

1219 HOURS- DISORDERLY- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  MANAGEMENT OF THE FOODWAY REPORTED A DISORDERLY CUSTOMER AT THE SERVICE DESK.  OFFICERS RESPONDED AND DISCOVERED THE CUSTOMER HAD ALREADY LEFT THE LOCATION.

1305 HOURS- M.P.S. - NCPD HQ- CITIZEN REPORTED HIS PROPERTY WAS TAKEN BY A FRIEND, WHO HAD NOT RETURNED THE PROPERTY AS AGREED.  THE CITIZEN HAD OBTAINED CHARGES THROUGH THE COURT COMMISSIONER FOR THE INCIDENT, BUT REQUIRED A REPORT FOR HIS RECORDS. REPORT WRITTEN

1420 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8300 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  ALL CLEAR.

1455 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  REPEATED COMPLAINTS OF MALES DRINKING, SMOKING C.D.S., AND GAMBLING IN THE AREA.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, CANVASED THE COMPLEX, BUT DID NOT OBSERVE ANY SUSPICIOUS OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES AT THAT TIME.

1538 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- PLAZA 30- ALL CLEAR.

1610 HOURS- C.D.S. COMPLAINT- 5500 BLOCK KAREN ELAINE DR.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION AFTER A CITIZEN CONTACTED NCPD HQ, AND COMPLAINED OF SEVERAL PEOPLE SMOKING MARIJUANA IN THE APARTMENT STAIRWELL.  OFFICERS SEARCHED THE STAIRWELL WITH NEGATIVE RESULTS, THE SUSPECTS WERE G.O.A.

1617 HOURS- ARMED PERSON ARREST- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE AREA FOR A REPORTED ROBBERY OF A CITIZEN BY TWO ARMED SUSPECTS.  THE VICTIM FOLLOWED THE TWO SUSPECTS IN THEIR VEHICLE ON ANNAPOLIS ROAD, WHERE OFFICERS PERFORMED A STOP OF THE INVOLVED VEHICLES.  THE TWO SUSPECTS WERE DETAINED FOR QUESTIONING, AND UPON A SEARCH OF THEIR VEHICLE, A LOADED SHOTGUN WAS DISCOVERED.  THE SUSPECTS WERE ARRESTED, SEARCHED, CHECKED NEGATIVE, PHOTOGRAPHED, TRANSPORTED TO DIST 1 FOR QUESTIONING BY PGPD RST, THEN TRANSPORTED TO UPPER MARLBORO D.O.C. FOR PROCESSING.  PGPD RST, NCPD3 AND DET. ROBINSON WERE NOTIFIED OF THE INCIDENT.  PGPD RST TURNED OVER THE INVESTIGATION TO NCPD AFTER CLASSIFYING THE INCIDENT A THEFT.  THE SUSPECT VEHICLE WAS IMPOUNDED FOR SAFE KEEPING BY CHARLIE'S TOWING. REPORT WRITTEN

heard voices and wanted to go to the hospital to avoid doing things
they didn’t want to do / Handled by P.G.F.D.

1947 hrs., Disorderly – 8300 block Cathedral Avenue - Caller reported several
individuals parked in front of the residence arguing / Cancelled prior
to officers arrival

2022 hrs., Premise Check - 5200-5400 block of 85th Avenue / All Clear

2025 hrs., Burglary Report – 8300 block Oliver Street - Caller reported
unknown suspect(s) entered their shed / REPORT WRITTEN

2157 hrs., Burglary 5300 block 85th Avenue - Unknown suspect(s) forced
entry into apartment through drywall and stole items /  REPORT WRITTEN

2232 hrs., Found Property – 5300 block 85th Avenue - While officers canvassed
the area for the previous call for service, a Television was located.
A query revealed it was not stolen through N.C.I.C. and was placed
into N.C.P.D. property for safekeeping /  REPORT WRITTEN

2312 hrs., Premise Check - I.H.O.P. / All Clear

2341 hrs., Disorderly – 7500 block Riverdale Road - Caller reported that
her son was being harassed by his stepmother / C.C.N.'s given for
reference and advised how to seek assistance from District Court
