0645 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  REPEATED COMPLAINTS OF MALES DRINKING, SMOKING C.D.S., AND GAMBLING IN THE AREA.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, CANVASED THE COMPLEX, BUT DID NOT OBSERVE ANY SUSPICIOUS OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES AT THAT TIME.

0716 HOURS- RESIDENTIAL ALARM- 6400 BLOCK INLET ST.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE RESIDENCE FOR A BASEMENT MOTION DETECTOR ALARM ACTIVATION.  OFFICERS DISCOVERED THE RESIDENCE SECURED WITH NO SIGNS OF DAMAGE OR FORCED ENTRY.  UNKNOWN CAUSE FOR THE ALARM ACTIVATION.

0824 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8500 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  ALL CLEAR.

0927 HOURS- DOMESTIC ARREST- 8400 BLOCK CATHEDRAL AVE.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION FOR A 3RD PARTY COMPLAINT OF A DOMESTIC DISPUTE.  OFFICERS MADE CONTACT WITH BOTH INVOLVED PARTIES; THE MALE HALF WAS SUBSEQUENTLY ARRESTED FOR PROVIDING FALSE INFORMATION ABOUT HIS IDENTITY, PHOTOGRAPHED, AND TRANSPORTED TO GREENBELT PD WHERE HE WAS LIVE-SCANNED FINGERPRINTED, IDENTIFIED, ISSUED A CRIMINAL CITATION AND RELEASED.  THE FEMALE HALF WAS INTERVIEWED, REFUSED MEDICAL TREATMENT, WAS UNINJURED, PHOTOGRAPHED, COMPLETED A LETHALITY ASSESSMENT, THEN LEFT THE SCENE WITH A FAMILY MEMBER. REPORT WRITTEN

1049 HOURS- ACCIDENT- 8400 BLOCK CATHEDRAL AVE.-   UNIT 1 BACKED INTO UNIT 2 (PARKED) CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO BOTH VEHICLES.  THE OWNER OF THE PARKED VEHICLE WAS NOTIFIED AND PROVIDED INFORMATION TO FILE AN INSURANCE CLAIM.  THE VEHICLES WERE PHOTOGRAPHED, NCPD3 WAS NOTIFIED, AND AN A.C.R.S. WAS COMPLETED.

1145 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8500 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD-  ALL CLEAR. 

1340 HOURS- STOLEN AUTO- RIVERDALE RD. - CALLER HIS VEHICLE WAS STOLEN FROM IN FRONT OF HIS RESIDENCE. THE CALLER STATED HE LAST SAW THE VEHICLE PRIOR TO HEADING OUT OF TOWN ON 01/15/2018, CHECK FOR IMPOUND OR REPO WAS NEGATIVE. THE CALLER STATED HE WAS IN POSSESSION OF THE KEY TO THE VEHICLE. REPORT WRITTEN

1459 HOURS- PROPERTY DAMAGE- 6200 BLOCK 87TH AVE- CALLER STATED HE STATED HE PARKED HIS VEHICLE ON 01/20/2018 AT APPROXIMATELY 1830 HOURS. UPON RETURNING TO THE VEHICLE ON 01/21/2018, HE OBSERVED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE FRONT END OF HIS VEHICLE CAUSED BY UNKNOWN MEANS. REPORT WRITTEN

1533 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 5500 BLOCK OF KAREN ELAINE DR.- ALL CLEAR.

1600 HOURS- VANDALISM- 7500 BLOCK RIVERDALE RD - THE CALLER STATED THE WIRING TO HER AIR CONDITIONING UNIT WAS NO LONGER CONNECTED. OFFICERS LOOKED AT THE UNIT AND DETERMINED THAT WIRES WERE ONLY DISCONNECTED AND NOT DAMAGED. THE CALLER WAS ADVISED TO CONTACT PEPCO AND 24 HOURS MAINTENANCE TO RECONNECT THE UNIT.

1712 HOURS-   MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  REPEATED COMPLAINTS OF MALES DRINKING, SMOKING C.D.S., AND GAMBLING IN THE AREA.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, CANVASED THE COMPLEX, BUT DID NOT OBSERVE ANY SUSPICIOUS OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES AT THAT TIME.

1850 hrs., Premise Check - Lowe’s / All Clear

1907 hrs., Premise Check - 5200-5400 blocks of 85th Avenue / All Clear

1934 hrs., 4th Degree Sex Offense – 7700 block Riverdale Road - Female caller reported that a male who followed her down Riverdale Road grabbed her buttocks and fled as she entered Fountain Club Apts. Complex. REPORT WRITTEN

2128 hrs., Suspicious Person - Lamont Drive and Carrollton Parkway - Caller reported subjects walking down the street pulling on door handles / Area canvassed with nothing found

2200 hrs., Premise Check - 5500 block of Karen Elaine Drive / All Clear

2210 hrs., Premise Check - 7700-7800 blocks of Riverdale Road / All Clear

2241 hrs., Premise Check - Metro Points Motel / All Clear

0449 hrs., Return Call – 7700 block Riverdale Road - Officers located residence and advised tenant / All Clear

  0630 hrs., Premise check/ Shoppers Food (Foot Patrol), check clear.   0645 hrs., Premise check/ Lowe's, check clear.   0700 hrs., 8000 block Powhattan St/ Suspicious persons, caller stated there was a person sleeping inside of a vehicle parked in front of their residence.  Officers located the vehicle and the persons inside sleeping.  Officers checked the individuals and the vehicle and observed nothing illegal at this time.  The individuals were advised and sent on their way.  Report written   0745 hrs., Premise check/ 7-11, check clear.   0821 hrs., 7600 block Fountainbleau Dr/ 911 Hang-up, communications stated there was a call from this address but prior to getting any information the phone hung up.  On callback communications stated there was no answer, only a prerecorded message.  Officers checked the rental office and it was locked and secure with no one inside.  No Report.   0847 hrs., 86...
