1745 hrs., TD Bank/ Officers assisted with the warrant service
of the male at the location. The male arrested had an outstanding warrant
from Prince George's County Sheriff's Department. The male was also
issued a criminal citation in lieu of arrest for the false identification he
was in possession of. REPORT WRITTEN
1901 hrs., 5400 block 85th Ave/ Suspicious Person, Residence
located an unknown male sleeping in the laundry room of the apartment.
Upon attempting to identify the male he was extremely uncooperative with
Officers and refused to provide any identification. The male was placed
under arrest and transported to obtain his proper identity. He was issued
a Criminal Citation in lieu of arrest. REPORT WRITTEN
1925 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Family Dispute, Officers
responded for a mother and daughter involved in a verbal argument.
Officers spoke to both parties and concluded the daughter required some
assistance from a counselor. The Mobile Crisis Unit was notified and made
contact with the Mother. They made arrangements for a time to come and
speak to both the Mother and the daughter. Both parties were calm when
officers arrived and left the scene. REPORT WRITTEN
2055 hrs., Beauty Care/ Commercial Alarm of the front desk and
front door. Officers checked both the front and back doors and they were
secured. The employees recently closed the business down and left for the
night. Officers were able to see inside the business to the video, and no
movement was detected.
2115 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Noise complaint, an unknown
caller stated the children in a specific apartment were purposely making too
much noise. Officers checked the building, due to no specific location,
and did not hear any loud noise. Due to there being no caller information
Officers were unable to hear exactly what the caller was hearing in order to
properly address the issue.

2314 hrs., 8300 block Carrollton Pkwy/ Noise complaint, Officers
arrived to find several persons in the yard singing loudly. They were
advised and went inside the location for the remainder of the evening.

0137 hrs., 6600 block Ian St/ Residential alarm, caller stated
she was on the phone with her alarm company due to her back door alarm going
off. She stated her family was home and no one should be coming inside
the residence. Officers arrived to locate the back door open but no
forced entry. Officers checked the residence with negative results,
Officers also observed the front door unsecured as well. The homeowner
conducted a walk-through of the residence with Officers and stated nothing was
missing or disturbed. She also advised she did not hear any one making
any movement in the residence. Officers determined the door was unsecured
and was blown open by the extremely high wind.
0205 hrs., Lowe's/ Commercial alarm, the alarm was set off in
the rear of the business. Officers checked the entire building and did
not locate any open or unsecured doors. Check was clear, weather related.

Burglary/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. - two black
unknown suspects entered the residence by shattering the balcony glass.
Suspects ransacked the residence and stole a possible firearm. The victim
returned home and stated only money was stolen from the residence. NC 4
responded and interviewed the victim and NC 3 was notified. REPORT WRITTEN

took a student’s phone and she wanted attention. All was settled with officers

1240 Follow Up/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. - CID
interviewed the victim from the burglary.
1310 Premise Check/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd -no issues, spoke
with manager business as usual
1409 Premise Check/ 5400 block 85th Ave -citizens complained
of CDS sales/usage in the hallway. No suspicious activity was observed
1520 Premise Check/ 7500 block Good Luck Rd- area was clear
1616 Suspicious
Vehicle/ 8000 block Quentin St -vehicles were parked on the road without
current registration plates and tags to another. Vehicles were checked by VIN
and did not have valid registration plates issued. Charlie's Towing responded
and impounded vehicles. REPORT WRITTEN
1730 Fraud/ 8200 block Annapolis Rd -male was
attempting to open an account with a fake Maryland Identification card. The
suspect after confirming his address had an open warrant. The suspect was taken
into custody and transported by evenings to corrections.
