1315 HOURS-Suspicious Vehicle-5500 block Karen Elaine Dr.- Officers while on patrol observed two vehicles parked on the street. A registration check of the vehicles found that one vehicle was displaying a Wisconsin Dealer tag, however, the tag did not come back to the vehicle, and the VIN also came back that the vehicle had never been registered. The second vehicle was displaying a Virginia tag, however, the tag did not belong on the vehicle. the tags were removed from the vehicles, placed into NCPD property, and the vehicles were impounded.

Officers found that a scooter that was parked on the property struck two vehicles parked at the dealership. The driver of the scooter was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.

Officers met with the caller who stated an unknown suspect broke into his shed in his backyard and stole items. The caller was advised on multiple precautions to take to prevent further incidents in the future. NCPD CID was notified of this incident.
