0843 HOURS-Domestic-8500 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a domestic dispute. Officers spoke with the caller who stated she was involved in a domestic dispute with her boyfriend who left prior to officer's arrival. Officers performed a lethality assessment on the caller and provided her the opportunity to speak with a domestic violence counselor. REPORT WRITTEN

0927 HOURS-Accident-7800 block Riverdale Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a two-vehicle accident that caused minor damage. Officers assisted with an exchange of information. NO REPORT

1024 HOURS-Disorderly-8400 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a report of disorderly persons in the parking lot. Officers spoke with both parties and found the argument was regarding the right of way in the parking lot. Officers resolved the issue without incident. NO REPORT

1036 HOURS-Hit & Run-8500 block Caswell Pl- Officers responded to this location for a report of a hit and run. It was found that a vehicle struck a parked vehicle on the street and failed to remain at the scene. The caller was provided with case numbers and advised to contact their insurance. ACRS/REPORT WRITTEN

1046 HOURS-Check Welfare-6600 block Chestnut Ave.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a female unresponsive in a vehicle. Officers were able to make contact with the female and found that she was intoxicated and was sitting outside of her residence. The female's family came to escort the female safely inside after refusing medical attention. NO REPORT 

1128 HOURS-Property Damage-6200 block 87th Ave.- Officers responded to this location for a report of property damage. Officers met with the owner of the vehicle who refused to file a report after finding that the damage to the vehicle was minor. NO REPORT

1143 HOURS-Check Welfare-5300 block 85th Ave - Officers responded to this location for a report of a male who was sick and had not been heard from in approximately one day. Officers were able to make contact with the male and found that he was in good health and was contacting the female as officers made contact with him. NO REPORT

1232 HOURS-Premise Check-6100 block Lamont Dr.-Officers conducted a check of this location for any possible trespassers. NO REPORT

1315 HOURS-Parking Complaint-6100 block Westbrook Dr.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a parking complaint. Officers conducted a check of the vehicle in question and found that the vehicle was legally parked and was registered through Washington DC. *RCOP* NO REPORT

1321 HOURS-Premise Check-8100 block Gavin St.-Officers conducted a check of this location for any criminal activity. NO REPORT

1420 HOURS-Disorderly-5300 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a disorderly female in the establishment. The female was gone prior to officer's arrival. Store management was advised on how to proceed. NO REPORT

1500 HOURS-Loud Music-8200 block Quentin St.- Officers responded to this location for a report of loud music. Officers once in the area did not hear any music that violated city ordinance. NO REPORT

1553 HOURS-Premise Check-7400 block Riverdale Rd.-Officers conducted a check of this location for any possible trespassers. NO REPORT

1642 HOURS-Premise Check-8400 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers conducted checks of multiple businesses in the area. NO REPORT

 

1835 hrs., Landover G Sector (1300 block of Capital View Terrace)/ Assist Prince George's County with an officers down call.  Three officers were injured responding to a call for service.  Officers assisted with scene security and crowd control.  Cleared without incident.  No Report.

2000 hrs., 8400 block Carrollton Pkwy/ Loud Music complaint, caller stated there was loud music coming from this location. They were advised and turned the music down without issue.  No Report.

 

2020 hrs., 85th Ave and Freemont St/ Loud music complaint, caller stated there was loud music coming from this area.  Officers checked and were unable to locate any music playing loudly.  No Report.

 

2050 hrs., Premise Check/ City of New Carrollton Pool, check clear.

 

2110 hrs., New Carrollton Public Library/ Alarm, alarm company stated it was coming from the meeting room.  Officers checked all doors and windows were secure.  Unknown cause for the activation at this time.  No Report.

 

2130 hrs., Metro Points Hotel/ Theft, caller stated she ordered food from Uber eats and when it was delivered a male picked it up instead.  Caller stated she did not know the male and did not give him permission to take her food.  The male took the food upstairs and brought it back down several minutes later in an attempt to give it to the caller.  At this time the food was not able to be eaten by the caller.  Officers located the male and while speaking to him observed he suffered from a mental illness and he stated he was homeless.  Officers gave the caller her money back and she was satisfied.  Report written

2325 hrs., 83 Rd Pl and Legation Rd/ Loud music, caller stated there was someone playing loud music in the area.  Officers checked the area and located a vehicle with a male sitting inside.  Officers spoke to the male who lived one street over and was just relaxing and smoking before he goes to his residence.  He was advised and sent on his way.  No Report.

0235 hrs., 8300 block Oglethorpe St/ Disorderly, caller advised they could hear people screaming and yelling and one stated they had a gun.  Officers were en route to the location when they noticed two vehicles stopped at 85th Ave and Annapolis Rd.  Officers stopped the vehicles and all parties were together but the last car that left was the one they were arguing with.  The male was upset with the friends because they were taking home his ex-girlfriend and he wanted to.  There was no physical altercation and officers checked on the female half as well who stated she was fine and he did nothing to her.  No Report.
