0635 HOURS-Premise Check-8300 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers conducted checks of multiple businesses in the area. NO REPORT

0730 HOURS-Disorderly-6500 block Jodie St.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a neighbor dispute. Officers were able to meet with the caller who stated he and a neighbor have been having issues regarding parking in the area. Officers advised the caller to call back should they have issues with the neighbor again. NO REPORT

0810 HOURS-Premise Check-8400 block Annapolis Rd.-Officers conducted a check of this location for any trespassers or panhandlers. NO REPORT

0851 HOURS-Premise Check-7700-7800 block Riverdale Rd.- Officers conducted a check of this location for any criminal activity. NO REPORT

0947 HOURS-Premise Check-5200-5400 block 85th Ave.- Officers conducted a patrol of this location for any criminal activity. NO REPORT

1027 HOURS-Disorderly-8300 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a female refusing to leave the establishment. The female was met and advised that she was not welcome at the establishment and was being asked to leave. The female left without incident. NO REPORT

1054 HOURS-Premise Check-6600 block Chestnut Ave.- Officers conducted a check of this location for any criminal activity. NO REPORT

1145 HOURS-Premise Check-5900 block Westbrook Terr.- Officers conducted a check of this location for any issues. NO REPORT

 1204 HOURS-Vandalism-5400 block 85th Ave.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a vandalism to auto. Officers met with the caller who stated his vehicle was vandalized some time throughout the night. Officers gathered all necessary information and advised the caller to contact their insurance company. REPORT WRITTEN

1310 HOURS-Residential Alarm-5300 block 85th Ave - Officers responded to this location for a report of a residential alarm being activated. Officers found that all doors and windows were secured and did not appear to be tampered with. NO REPORT

1352 HOURS-Disorderly-8400 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a male having an issue with a Metro bus driver. The caller was met with, and he became extremely irate when advised that masks are mandatory while riding public transportation. The caller refused further services and went about his day. NO REPORT

1447 HOURS-Premise Check-8100 block Gavin St.-Officers conducted a check of this location for any criminal activity. NO REPORT

1527 HOURS-Fight-8400 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a fight at this location. Officers canvassed the area for the individuals involved with negative results. NO REPORT 

1634 HOURS-Premise Check-6100 block Lamont Dr.-Officers conducted a check of this location for any possible trespassers. NO REPORT

1717 HOURS-Premise Check-8400 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers conducted checks of multiple businesses in the area. NO REPORT

 

1803 hrs., 7800 block Powhatan St/ Burglary, caller stated she left and when she came back to her residence she noticed someone made entry into her residence without her knowledge.  They noticed the top lock was unsecured and the husband of the caller contacted the landlord.  The landlord stated he is able to conduct random inspections on their residence without notification.  The caller was upset and wanted to know what action she could take.  She was advised of landlord tenant court by officers.  No Crime No Report.

 

1849 hrs., 8300 block Verona Dr. / Family Dispute, caller stated she has a child at her home who ran away.  Officers arrived to locate a young female who does not reside at the location.  The caller stated she did not want her at the residence any longer.  Officers located the juveniles’ residence and spoke to her mother.  Mother stated she did not see her in a day and did not know she left the location.  Officers turned over custody to the Mother and she was advised what she needed to do.  Follow up will be conducted by Resource Officers.  Report written

 

2010 hrs., 85th Ave at Annapolis Rd/ Accident, caller advised he was involved in a minor vehicle accident.  Officers arrived to find two vehicles with minor damage and neither party claimed injury on scene.  Officers exchanged information between parties.  No Report.

2120 hrs., Premise Check/ CVS Pharmacy, check clear.

 

2140 hrs., Premise Check/ Lowe's (Foot Patrol), check clear.

 

2200 hrs., Premise Check/ Shops at New Carrollton, check clear.

 

2235 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Family Dispute, caller stated she wanted her daughter out of her house.  Caller stated she and her daughter were fighting and she did not want her in the residence. Officers asked if she had paperwork to have her evicted and she stated no she did not.  Officers since advised her on what action she could take to have her evicted.  She left the residence to go to the Commissioners office.  No Report.

 

2250 hrs., Premise Check/ 5300-5400 block of 85th Ave, check clear.

 

2315 hrs., Premise Check/ Beckett Field, check clear.

 

2337 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Shooting, caller stated they heard a gunshot and what sounded like people running or fighting in the hallway.  Officers stopped several males outside of the building prior to checking with the caller (in case they witnessed anything.)  When officers checked the floor at the top they observed a large amount of blood and a shell casing.  There was no blood leading down the stairs to say the person left the area, it led to an apartment.  Officers knocked and the victim came out with several gunshot wounds to their body.  Aid was rendered right away to the victim and no other person was found at the location injured.  Notification was made to NC3 and On Call Detectives were called as well.  Report written

 

0219 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Attempt Peace order service, caller stated she had a Peace Order that needed to be served.  Officers went to the location and checked for the other party and they were not at the residence at this time.  She was advised to call again when they came home and officers would try to serve them again.  No Report.
