 0647 HOURS-Premise Check-8400 block Annapolis Rd.-Officers conducted a check of this location for any trespassers or panhandlers. NO REPORT

 0732 HOURS-Premise Check-7400 block Riverdale Rd.-Officers conducted a check of this location for any possible trespassers. NO REPORT

 0821 HOURS-Premise Check-5200-5400 block 85th Ave.-Officers conducted a patrol of this location for any criminal activity. NO REPORT

 0927 HOURS-Missing Person-5400 block 85th Ave.- Officers met with the caller at NCPD HQ for a reported missing person. The caller stated her husband did not return home from work on the prior evening and has not been heard from. The caller stated it is unusual for her husband not to return home after work. The information about the missing person was gathered and the caller was advised to call if the missing person should return. REPORT WRITTEN

 1025 HOURS-Fraud-5400 block 85th Ave. - Officers responded to this location for a threat call. It was found that the caller was the victim of fraud and felt threatened regarding the situation. The caller was advised to cease any and all further contact with the suspect(s) to avoid future fraud. REPORT WRITTEN

 1037 HOURS-Suspicious Person-8200 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a male refusing to leave. Officers once on scene found that the male left prior to the arrival of officers. Officers advised management should the male return. NO REPORT

1048 HOURS-Check Welfare-5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. - Officers responded to this location to check on the welfare of a mother and her child. Officers were able to speak with the mother and found that both the mother and child were in good health. NO REPORT

1137 HOURS-Premise Check-6100 block Lamont Dr.-Officers conducted a check of this location for any possible trespassers. NO REPORT

1204 HOURS-Disorderly-8500 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a civil disturbance. Officers met with management and the customer and assisted with coming to a solution. NO REPORT

 1257 HOURS-Stolen Auto-5800 block Westbrook Dr.- Officers while on patrol observed a vehicle that appeared to be sitting for a prolonged period of time. A check of the registration found that the vehicle was reported stolen in Prince George's County. The vehicle was recovered and impounded by Tino's towing. REPORT WRITTEN

1330 HOURS-Disorderly-8200 block Oliver St.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a suspicious male. Officers met with the male who recently moved out and did not have a specified location to go. A taxi was called for the male to go to a friend's house. NO REPORT

1432 HOURS-Premise Check-8100 block Gavin St.-Officers conducted a check of this location for any criminal activity. NO REPORT

1511 HOURS-Vandalisim-8200 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a vandalism to auto. Officers met with the caller who stated his vehicle's window was broken while he was inside of the establishment. Officers gathered all necessary information and provided the caller with case numbers. REPORT WRITTEN

 1538 HOURS-Suspicious Person- 8200 block Oliver St.- Officers responded to this location for a report of the male from the previous call still sitting outside of the location. Officers met with the male who stated he did not have enough money for the taxi to get him to Takoma Park. The male was provided with another cab which took him to a metro station to get to Takoma Park. NO REPORT

1618 HOURS-Premise Check-8300 block Quintana St.-Officers conducted a check of this location for any possible trespassers. NO REPORT

1700 HOURS-Vehicle Release-6016 Princess Garden Pkwy- Officers assisted a citizen with a vehicle release. The vehicle was released and the citizen was advised of their next steps. NO REPORT 

1727 HOURS-Suspicious Person-6200 block 87th Ave.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a suspicious person soliciting. It was found that it was a sales representative for a cable company. The workers were advised and told to cease. NO REPORT

 

1800 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Vandalism, caller stated he went into his residence and when he came out he observed damage to his vehicle.  Officers observed two scratches in the bumper of the vehicle which were caused by unknown means.  Report written

 

1819 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / Theft from Auto, caller stated he believes someone stole his title to his vehicle.  Officers arrived and the caller stated he last saw his title in his residence and does not know where it would be now.  Officers asked and he believes he may have misplaced it somewhere in his residence. Officers checked and there was no sign that his vehicle was ever broken into as to steal the title. No Report.

2120 hrs., 7-11/ Suspicious person, while on patrol officers observed a male sitting in front of the business.  Officers asked him to leave and he failed to do so the first time when officers walked out he left and took his open beer container with him.  He was advised and a Field Ops was written.  Field Ops written.

 

2205 hrs., Premise Check/ Shops at New Carrollton, check clear.

 

2240 hrs., Premise Check/ Heritage Square Apartments, check clear.

0005 hrs., Premise Check/ CVS Pharmacy, check clear.

 

0030 hrs., 7700 block Riverdale Rd/ Disorderly, caller was security stating that they were arguing with people over the parking.  Officers arrived to find over 20 people parked and yelling at security and upset they can no longer park in the playground.  Security advised officers that the apartment complex did not want people parking on the playground any longer.  However due to there being as many people as there were the Captain of the security company advised the officers to let people park there.  Officers attempted to get in touch with complex management but were unable to at this time.  The issue will be given to Community Officers Hughes to attempt to assist the complex with a solution for the renters to be able to park.  No Report.

 

0120 hrs., Mahoney Dr. and Riverdale Rd/ Suspicious vehicle occupied, officers while on patrol observed a vehicle running and parked illegally.  Officers approached the vehicle to find two people sitting in the backseat.  When asked what they were doing they stated they were just talking waiting to go over to the complex and find a parking spot.  They were advised and sent on their way.  No Report.

 

0145 hrs., 7800 block Powhatan St/ Parking Complaint, while on patrol Officers observed a vehicle parked in the wrong direction and in front of a hydrant.  Tickets were subsequently issued to the vehicle for the violations.  The owner came out and moved the vehicle.  No Report.

0430 hrs., 6100 block 84th Ave/ Missing Person, caller stated she woke up to find her juvenile daughter missing from the bedroom.  Officers arrived to find that the juvenile does not have a cell phone however was on Instagram with the mother.  Due to it only being text officers could not confirm the safety or the whereabouts of the juvenile.  Between the no confirmation and the age of the juvenile, officers deemed her a critical missing person. PG County Missing Persons Detectives were notified but did not respond.  Notification was made to NC3 via messenger.  Report written
