0655 Premise Check/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. - area was clear. Vehicle cited for engine running/ unattended 

0740 Premise Check/ 6100 block Lamont Dr. - no issues, children arriving for school

0855 Premise Check/ Plaza 30 -businesses opening for the day

0920 Premise Check/ 5400 block 85th Ave -area was clear, no foot traffic

1004 Unknown Trouble/ 8100 block Annapolis Rd -no issues, troubled phone system

1106 Property Damage/ 7800 block Riverdale Rd -unknown suspect damaged the victim's vehicle. The victim responded to NCPD to file the report. REPORT WRITTEN

1140 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. - area was clear, maintenance walking the properties

1150 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd. - business as usual

1158 Residential Alarm/ 6000 block 84th Ave. - alarm from the master bedroom window. Officers arrived and met with Roy, who accidentally activated the alarm

1206 Stolen Auto/ 8500 block 86th Ct - vehicle wasn't stolen, it's in a repair shop in Laurel

1250 Premise Check/ 5300 block 85th Ave -area was clear

1320 Disorderly/ 5400 block 85th Ave - maintenance and property owner were having a verbal altercation while officers were patrolling the property

1342 Crossing Guard/ Good Luck Rd @ Lamont Dr. - assisted with Lamont Elementary dismissal

1445 Burglary/ 5800 block 87th Ave -unknown suspect kicked in the rear door. Due to the home having an alarm, the suspect fled in an unknown direction. CID was notified. REPORT WRITTEN

1502 Residential Alarm/ 6100 block 85th Pl - alarm was activated by the resident accidentally

1551 Disorderly/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd -complainant was in a verbal altercation with another citizen. Upon arrival, the complainant was not on scene and didn’t answer calls

1603 Theft/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd -employee and customer were involved in a Theft scheme. Both were cited and released. REPORT WRITTEN

1630 Theft/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd- an employee lost her bank card on Monday. An unknown suspect used her bank card at various locations. REPORT WRITTEN

1710 Animal Complaint/ Annapolis Rd @ Riverdale Rd -dispatch requested officers check for a deer in the roadway.

1842 hrs., 8400 block Carrollton Pkwy/ Hit and Run, Officers spoke to the caller and discovered the incident did not occur in the City of New Carrollton.  They were advised.

1905 hrs., Business check/ Lowe's, check clear.

1920 hrs., 7500 block Riverdale Rd/ Property Damage, caller stated their vehicle was in the parking lot and damaged in an unknown manner.  Officers took a property damage report. REPORT WRITTEN

1930 hrs., 6000 block of Westbrook Dr. / Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

1950 hrs., School Check/ Charles Carroll Middle School, check clear.

2031 hrs., 86th Ave and Preston St./ Suspicious Person, caller stated there was a male walking around and trying doors on vehicles.  When we arrived on scene the male had entered into a house with an open front door.  Officers canvassed the area without being able to locate the male or the open door.  There was no caller information to speak to anyone about, Officers continued to canvas the area with nothing found.

2117 hrs., 6000 block Mentana St/ Suspicious vehicle occupied, individuals were sitting in front of the residence and drinking alcohol in the vehicle.  All persons were checked, with negative results.  Citations were issued and the individuals were sent on their way. REPORT WRITTEN

2205 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

2250 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.  Officers conducted a foot patrol of the area.

2315 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

2345 hrs., Business check/ Shell Gas station, check clear.

2350 hrs., 5200 block 85th Ave/ Loud music complaint, building checked nothing heard.  Officers cleared with nothing found.

0002 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0011 hrs., Chipotle/ Suspicious vehicle occupied, officers located a vehicle running with several persons in the car.  Officers stopped and spoke to the parties inside and they were workers from the business who just closed up and were talking.  Officers cleared without incident.

0015 hrs., Business check/ Darcar's, check clear.

0025 hrs., 7-11/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

0110 hrs., Riverdale Rd and Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

0125 hrs., Shell/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

0210 hrs., Residential check/ Gavin St/ Rycroft St/ Quentin St, check clear.

0220 hrs., School check/ Carrollton Elementary School, check clear.

0230 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

0250 hrs., 6400 block 85th Ave/ Suspicious vehicle occupied, officers observed a vehicle stopped in front of the residence running.  Officers spoke to the parties in the vehicle and they lived at the residence but were talking outside to not disturb the people asleep inside.

0300 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.  Officers conducted a foot patrol of the area.

0322 hrs., 85th Ave and Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, the driver had no license and the tag was expired.  Vehicle was impounded and the driver was issued several citations and sent on their way. REPORT WRITTEN
