0618 Traffic Assignment/ Legation Rd @ 84th Ave- vehicles were cited for stop sign violation

0700 Disorderly/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd - store manager called in reference to a male panhandling in front of the store. Officers made contact with a homeless male, who checked negative for warrants. The male was photographed, advised of loitering and sent on his way without incident. REPORT WRITTEN

0750 Premise Check/ 7500 block Riverdale Rd -officer's patrolled the area in reference to stalking complaint. The area checked negative for suspicious activity

0940 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. - area was clear, no suspicious activity observed

1310 Harassment/ 6016 Princess Garden Pkwy -the victim advised her ex-boyfriend was sending threatening text messages to her and sending false emails to her employer. The victim was advised to file for protective order. REPORT WRITTEN

1400 Crossing Guard/ Westbrook at Powhatan- assisted with school dismissal

1424 Domestic/ 7600 block Fountainbleau Dr. - officers were alerted by a citizen that a male and female were having a verbal altercation. After speaking with both parties, the argument was over possible infidelities in the relationship. There was no bruising or injuries to either party. LAP was not completed. REPORT WRITTEN

1520 Traffic Assignment/ 6100 block Lamont Dr. - assisted with school dismissal

1522 ACRS/ 6600 block Adrian St -vehicle struck another and was disabled in the roadway. The vehicle was impounded by Charlie's Towing. PGPD Teletype entered the vehicle as impound. REPORT WRITTEN

1545 Accident/ Ellin @ Harkins -vehicle crashed with no injuries, assisted until PGPD arrived

1602 EPS/ 5400 block 85th Ave - elderly males, who suffers from a mental disorder, wife called and requested assistance as the male used a knife and hammer to damage the bathroom wall. The male was transported to Washington Adventist. REPORT WRITTEN

1624 ACRS/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd -driver with a learner's permit rear-ended another vehicle in the travel lane. The driver was cited and vehicle parked. REPORT WRITTEN

1720 Disorderly/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd - male who's been trespassed by store personnel attempted to steal merchandise. The manager was able to get the merchandise and the male left prior to officer's arrival.

1736 Theft/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd - unknown suspect entered the store and stole the demo iPhone X from the display. The suspect fled on foot toward Bojangles. Officer's canvassed the area with negative results. The store has surveillance cameras and will forward the video at their earliest convenience. The store manager at the time of the report did not have the serial/ IMEI on the phone. REPORT WRITTEN

1810 hrs., 7500 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Accident, when officers arrived on scene they discovered the accident occurred in the parking lot of the Taco Bell.  This location is not within our jurisdiction; therefore Prince George's County Police were notified.

1835 hrs., Legation Rd at 85th Ave/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident. 

1900 hrs., 8600 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Disabled vehicle, vehicle was broken down in the lane of travel and causing a backup in traffic.  The tow company came to the scene and removed the vehicle from the roadway.  

1925 hrs., Business check/ Lowe's (Foot Patrol), check clear.

2000 hrs., 8100 block Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

2030 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

2105 hrs., Business check/ Carrollton Enterprise, check clear.

2130 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

2205 hrs., 5700 Block of 85th Ave/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

2220 hrs., 7-11/ Suspicious Person, clerk advised officers there was an intoxicated male handing around outside.  Officers located him further down in the parking lot and he was leaving the business on his own prior to their arrival.  He was advised and was escorted home by a friend.

2305 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

2310 hrs., 5400 block 85th Ave/ Loud music complaint, caller gave no information as to which apartment the music was coming from.  Officers walked the building and could hear no sound of music.  Call was cleared with nothing heard.

2340 hrs., 5400 block 85th Ave/ Return call, same as above, again no caller information to get further information from.  Again officers could hear nothing.

2350 hrs., 5700 Block of 85th Ave/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

0018 hrs., Metro Points Hotel/ Suspicious person, caller stated she could hear a male banging on her room door and she felt he was attempting to gain entry.  Officers checked the floor she was on and other floors with nothing located.  Caller was advised to call back again if they hear anything else.

0035 hrs., 7700 Block of Riverdale Rd/ Disabled vehicle, Officers spoke to the driver who stated they ran out of gas.  She stated she had her passenger getting gas up the road and was on the way back with it to fill the tank and get out of the roadway.  Officers stood by until the vehicle was able to be moved safely.

0050 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

0120 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.  Officers conducted a foot patrol of the area.

0135 hrs., Lamont Elementary School/ Suspicious vehicle occupied, driver stated they just pulled over to use the phone to locate a place to eat.  They were advised and sent on their way.

0150 hrs., Business check/ Shell Gas station, check clear.

0200 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0230 hrs., 8600 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Officers were flagged down by a female who stated she lost her phone in a restaurant (not in our jurisdiction) and when she called it a male wanted her to bring money and meet him at a location (again not in our jurisdiction).  Prince George's County Police were called to meet with her about the incident.

0300 hrs., 7400 block Annapolis Rd/ Intoxicated male, officers observed a male laying on the ground in front of the 7-11.  Officers checked his health and notified Prince George's County Police who advised him and sent him on his way.

0320 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.  Officers conducted a foot patrol of the area.

0345 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

0405 hrs., 7800 block Riverdale Rd/ Suspicious vehicle occupied, while conducting a periodic check of the apartment complex, officers observed a vehicle running with a male laying in the front seat.  Officers woke the male up and he stated he was staying at an apartment in the complex but did not have a key and did not want to wake the persons in side.  Officers checked with the resident in the apartment and they confirmed he did reside there but they did not hear him trying to get into the apartment.  He was advised and sent inside to his residence.

0420 hrs., Darcar's/ Alarm from inside again with no one on the call back just static.  Officers checked the building and with security who stated there was no problem or need for us to be called there.  No signs of any entry or distress were present.  

0435 hrs., Business check/ Public Works, all clear.

0500 hrs., Lowe's/ Commercial Alarm, the alarm was activated when an employee tried to open it.  The employee thought the manager was inside and he attempted to open the door to enter work but it was still locked.  This action was enough to set off the alarm
