0640 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- OAK LANE PARK- REPEATED CITIZEN COMPLAINTS OF MALES LOITERING AND SMOKING C.D.S. AT THE PARK.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, CONDUCTED A CANVAS OF THE AREA, BUT DID NOT OBSERVE ANY SUSPICIOUS OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITY AT THIS TIME.

0721 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  REPEATED COMPLAINTS OF MALES DRINKING, SMOKING C.D.S., AND GAMBLING IN THE AREA.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, CANVASED THE COMPLEX, BUT DID NOT OBSERVE ANY SUSPICIOUS OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES AT THAT TIME.

0845 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- METRO POINTS- OFFICERS MET WITH HOTEL MANAGEMENT/FRONT DESK, WHO HAD NO ISSUES TO REPORT.

0940 HOURS- TRAFFIC ASSIGNMENT- ANNAPOLIS RD./RIVERDALE RD.-  OFFICERS CONDUCTED A SEAT-BELT ENFORCEMENT DETAIL (CLICK-IT-OR-TICKET), STOPPING AND CITING DRIVERS FOR FAILING TO WEAR A SEAT-BELT AS REQUIRED BY LAW.

1006 HOURS- VANDALISM REPORT- 6400 BLOCK JODIE ST.-  CALLER STATED THAT AN UNKNOWN SUSPECT SLASHED THE TIRE OF HIS VEHICLE AS IT WAS PARKED IN HIS YARD.  THE CALLER IS CURRENTLY IN A PROPERTY RELATED DISPUTE WITH A ROOMMATE; THE CALLER WAS PROVIDED CASE NUMBERS AND REFERRED TO THE COURT COMMISSIONER FOR A PROTECTIVE ORDER.

1045 HOURS- NOTIFICATION- RIVERDALE RD. /LAMONT DR.-  OFFICERS ON PATROL OBSERVED A WIRE DOWN AT THE LOCATION, THAT WAS NOT CREATING A TRAFFIC HAZARD FOR MOTORISTS.  PEPCO WAS CONTACTED AND NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE AND RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION.

1121 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 7600 BLOCK FOUTAINEBLEAU DR.-  ALL CLEAR.

1147 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 7700 BLOCK RIVERDALE RD.-  ALL CLEAR.

1233 HOURS- RESIDENTIAL ALARM- 8300 BLOCK NICHOLSON ST.-  ALARM ACTIVATION FROM THE RESIDENCE.  OFFICERS RESPONDED AND MET THE HOMEOWNER, WHO STATED THE ALARM COMPANY HAD SERVICED THE SYSTEM AND THE TECHNICIAN TESTED THE ALARM.  

1302 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8300 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  ALL CLEAR.

1404 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- PLAZA 30- OFFICERS CANVASED THE AREA FOR A PERSON OF INTEREST IN A PRIOR CASE, AFTER RECEIVING INFORMATION THE MALE FREQUENTS THE AREA.  THE CANVAS YIELDED NEGATIVE RESULTS, THE PERSON OF INTEREST WAS NOT LOCATED/IDENTIFIED.

1419 HOURS- DISPUTE- CHARLES CARROLL- CALLER COMPLAINED THERE CHILD WAS POTENTIALLY BULLIED AT THE MIDDLE SCHOOL BY ANOTHER STUDENT.  OFFICERS MET THE CALLER, SCHOOL SECURITY AND ADMINISTRATORS.  THE CALLERS SON WAS INVOLVED IN AN ALTERCATION THE PREVIOUS WEEK AND THE SON WAS THEN CONFRONTED BY THOSE INDIVIDUALS IN THE SCHOOL HALLWAY.  THE CALLERS SON WAS UNINJURED, AND SCHOOL SECURITY WILL BE HANDLING THE ISSUE.  NO REPORT, HANDLED BY SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS.

1455 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 7500 BLOCK GOOD LUCK RD.-  ALL CLEAR.

1501 HOURS- C.D.S. COMPLAINT- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION FOR COMPLAINT OF A GROUP OF MALES SMOKING C.D.S. IN-BETWEEN THE APARTMENT BUILDINGS.  OFFICERS STOPPED TWO SUSPECTS WHO ATTEMPTED TO WALK FROM THE AREA.  THE SUSPECTS WERE IDENTIFIED, CHECKED NEGATIVE, DISCOVERED TO BE TRESPASSING, PHOTOGRAPHED, ISSUED CRIMINAL CITATIONS (1 CIVIL CITATION FOR C.D.S.), AND SENT ON THEIR WAY.  A SMALL AMOUNT OF C.D.S. RECOVERED. REPORT WRITTEN

1605 HOURS- ASSIST FIREBOARD- 5500 BLOCK KAREN ELAINE DR. -  PGFD REQUESTED OFFICERS AFTER THEY FORCED ENTRY TO AN APARTMENT FOR A WATER LINE BREAK THAT WAS FLOODING SEVERAL UNITS. REPORT WRITTEN


1810 hrs., Accident with Injuries – 6100 block 85th Place - Two vehicle collision with no injuries / Vehicle disabled C.C.N. REPORT WRITTEN

1815 hrs., Departmental involving Fire & Rescue - Longbranch Drive and Carrollton Parkway / Area canvassed with nothing found

1830 hrs., Burglary 5300 block 85th Avenue - Unknown suspect(s) forced entry through drywall and stole property / C.C.N. (scene photographed and processed for latent prints. C.I.D. and Command notified)

1916 hrs., Unknown Trouble -5800 block Mentana Street - Caller requested police assist assistance / Upon arrival officers were unable to locate a caller and nobody needed police services

1916 hrs., Disorderly – 6100 block 84th Avenue - Landlord tenant dispute over tenant not moving out at time indicated / Both parties advised to seek assistance from District Court Commissioner’s Office

1935 hrs., Accident – 7500 block Riverdale Road - Two Vehicle collision in parking lot resulted in minor damage / Owners exchanges information

1958 hrs., Accident - 85th Avenue & Annapolis Road - Vehicle disabled on median strip damaged reflecting equipment / removed by private tow C.C.N.

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. Report Written 0807 Hours - Suspicious Person - 7700 Block of Riverdale Rd: An unknown caller advised a male in gray was asleep under the stairwell unresponsive. Officers responded and made contact with the subject who advised he was on the bus all night and needed a place to sleep. The male checked negative for warrants and was sent on his way. 0645 Hours -Premise Check- 8400 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0722 Hours -Premise Check- 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0813 Hours -Vandalism- 7900 Block of Legation Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for the vandalism of a vehicle. Officers spoke with the caller who stated his vehicle had been broken into. Officers gathered all information needed and generated a report.  Report Written 1028 Hours -Disorderly- 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for a disorderly male. Upon the officers' arrival, the male subject was GOA.  No Report 1134 Hours -Theft- 7700 Block of Riverdale Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for theft.
