0714 hrs., Premise Check 8400 block Annapolis Road / all clear

0805 hrs., Stolen Vehicle 7500 block Riverdale Road / No stolen vehicle verified, the vehicle was impounded for a parking violation. The caller has been advised no report.

0947 hrs., MPS, 5500 block Karen Elaine Drive / the caller reported she was assaulted yesterday (04/27/18) at approximately 1800 hrs. by her neighbor. The caller stated she didn't want call the police until her mother convinced her to do so today. Officers made contact with the neighbor who stated her relative that was visiting for the day was involved in a physical altercation with the caller. The neighbor stated the caller started the argument with her relative which turned physical. The caller sustained minor injuries and refused medical assistance on scene. The neighbor’s relative who was involved in the incident was not on scene and resides in another jurisdiction. All parties were provided with a report number, advised of their options and to seek further assistance through the district courts commissioner’s office. REPORT WRITTEN 

1035 hrs., Disorderly / 5400 block 85th Avenue, Caller stated her neighbor “cursed” her out because her children make too much noise. The neighbor was not home at the time, the caller was advised to call the authorities back once she (neighbor) is home to settle the dispute.  All clear no report.

1120 Hrs., Premise Check 8400 block Annapolis Road  / all clear 

1150 Hrs., Shoplifter 8400 block Annapolis Road / Loss Prevention apprehended a shoplifter, however; did not want to pursue criminal charges. Store security called police because the suspect looks like a “fighter” and the possibility of a physical altercation. The suspect was compiled, and handled by the store. No report.

1222 Hrs., Vandalism 8400 block Annapolis Road / Caller reported she went to the grocery store, upon her return to her vehicle, she observed minor damages to her vehicle. During the course of the investigation, the caller stated she no longer desired a police report and stated she will fix the damages on her own time. No report. 

1445 Hrs., Residential Alarm 6000 block 84th Avenue, all doors, and windows were secured. No signs of forced entry, prior to officers leaving, the homeowner arrived on scene. At the homeowner's request, officers remained on the scene while the home was checked. No issues found, all clear no report.  

1500 Hrs., Disorderly 7700 block Riverdale Road /Manager reported a male suspect was loitering in front of the business and refuse to leave. The suspect left prior to officers’ arrival, the manager provided a description and a canvass of the area was conducted with negative results.  No report.

1606 Hrs., Premise Check 5800 block Runford Drive, a citizen complained of people drinking and littering at this location. Officers checked the area and observed no issues. All clear no report.

1648 hrs., Premise Check 7700-7800 block of Riverdale Road / all clear.

1722 hrs., Premise Check 8300 block Annapolis Road / all clear.   

1807 HOURS- ACCIDENT- 7700 block RIVERDALE RD.-  UNIT 1 STRUCK UNIT 2, CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO BOTH VEHICLES.  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO SCENE AND FACILITATED AN EXCHANGE OF REQUIRED INFORMATION BETWEEN INVOLVED PARTIES.

1858 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  REPEATED COMPLAINTS OF MALES DRINKING, SMOKING C.D.S., AND GAMBLING IN THE AREA.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, CANVASED THE COMPLEX, BUT DID NOT OBSERVE ANY SUSPICIOUS OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES AT THAT TIME.

1901 HOURS- DOMESTIC- 7300 BLOCK GAVIN ST.-  CALLER COMPLAINED HIS ESTRANGED WIFE CAME TO THE RESIDENCE AND DAMAGED HIS DAUGHTERS CELL PHONE.  THE CALLER WAS MET, ADVISED THE MATTER WAS CIVIL, AND REFERRED HIM TO THE COURTS FOR SERVICES.

1925 HOURS- LOUD MUSIC- 7300 BLOCK LONGBRANCH DR.-  OFFICERS ON PATROL OBSERVED A BACKYARD PARTY WITH LOUD MUSIC.  OFFICERS MADE CONTACT WITH THE RESIDENT, WHO WAS ADVISED OF THE NOISE ORDINANCE, AND HE TURNED DOWN THE MUSIC.

1958 HOURS- FAMILY DISPUTE- 6100 BLOCK 84TH AVE.-  TWO BROTHERS AT THE LOCATION WERE IN A VERBAL ALTERCATION OVER LIFE CHOICES.  OFFICERS MADE CONTACT WITH ALL PARTIES, WHO WERE UNINJURED, AND REFUSED POLICE SERVICES.  THE PROBLEM HALF ELECTED TO LEAVE THE RESIDENCE FOR THE EVENING; NO ASSAULT.

2048 HOURS- FRAUD- 8300 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  OFFICERS WERE CONTACTED BY CHEVERLY P.D. ABOUT A FRAUD, AND MET THE COMPLAINANT AT THE LOCATION.  THE COMPLAINANT TOOK OFFICERS TO A LOCATION IN "G" SECTOR, WHERE HE SOLD HIS VEHICLE TO TWO SUSPECTS WHO PAID HIM IN COUNTERFEIT CURRENCY.  THE INCIDENT OCCURRED OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS, AND WAS TRANSFERRED TO P.G.P.D. FOR INVESTIGATION.  HANDLED BY P.G.P.D. 

2142 HOURS- FAMILY DISPUTE- 5800 BLOCK MENTANA ST.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION FOR A DISPUTE BETWEEN A MOTHER AND SON OVER DISCIPLINARY ISSUES.  THE MOTHER REQUESTED OFFICERS TALK TO HER SON ABOUT HIS BEHAVIOR, BUT REFUSED POLICE SERVICES AND REPORT.

2145 HOURS- PROPERTY DAMAGE- 8400 BLOCK CATHEDRAL AVE.-  CALLER REPORTED HIS VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED BY UNKNOWN MEANS.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, PHOTOGRAPHED THE DAMAGED VEHICLE, AND PROVIDED THE CALLER WITH CASE NUMBERS. REPORT WRITTEN

2209 HOURS- HOLD-UP ALARM- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE FOODWAY FOR A HOLD-UP ALARM.  OFFICERS DISCOVERED THE MANAGER IN THE T/A CLOSING UP; THE MANAGER WAS CONTACTED AND HE ADVISED THERE WAS NO ISSUE.  ACCIDENTAL BY MANAGER/NO F.A.R.U.

2231 HOURS- ALARM- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION FOR AN ALARM AT THE SPRINKLER ROOM DOOR.  OFFICERS FOUND THE DOOR WAS NOT SHUT COMPLETELY, THE T/A WAS CLEARED AND THE DOOR SECURED.

2249 HOURS- DISORDERLY- 5300 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION FOR A CIVIL DISPUTE OVER UNPAID WAGES.  OFFICERS MET ALL INVOLVED PARTIES, AND THE CALLER RECEIVED PAYMENT FOR THE WORK HE COMPLETED.

2305 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  ALL CLEAR.

2315 HOURS- LOUD MUSIC- 7300 BLOCK LONGBRANCH DR.-  OFFICERS RETURNED TO THE LOCATION AFTER A RESIDENT COMPLAINED OF LOUD MUSIC.  OFFICERS AGAIN MADE CONTACT WITH THE RESIDENT, WHO WAS ADVISED, AND THE MUSIC TURNED OFF FOR THE NIGHT.

2340 HOURS- SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE- 6100 BLOCK LAMONT DR.-  OFFICERS ON PATROL OBSERVED A VEHICLE PARKED AT THE SCHOOL AFTER HOURS.  THE VEHICLE WAS UNOCCUPIED, UNDAMAGED, LEGALLY PARKED, AND NOT REPORTED STOLEN.

0429 HOURS- MISSING PERSON- 8500 BLOCK OGLETHORPE ST.-  CALLER REPORTED HIS 19 YR OLD DAUGHTER FAILED TO RETURN HOME AFTER COLLEGE THE PREVIOUS EVENING.  MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT THE MISSING MET WITH NEGATIVE RESULTS; NCPD2 AND P.G.P.D. PERSONS WERE NOTIFIED OF THE INCIDENT AND THE MISSING WAS ENTERED INTO N.C.I.C.
