 0745 Hrs., Stolen Auto 7600 block Riverdale Road/ caller reported his vehicle was stolen. An impound inquiry revealed the vehicle was impounded by the towing company contracted by the property for a parking violation. The caller was advised no report.

0815 Hrs., Vehicle Accident 7000 block of Good Luck Road, Officers were canceled prior to arrival, Police communication advised the accident occurred outside City Jurisdiction, and it will be handled by county police. No report  

0840 Hrs., Premise check 7700 block Riverdale Road / all clear

0921 Hrs., Premise check 8100 block Annapolis Road/ all clear 

1000 Hrs., Premise check 5200-5300 block of 85th Avenue/ all clear

1030 Hrs., Premise check 7700-7800 block of Riverdale Road / all clear.

1050 Hrs., Domestic standby 7600 block Riverdale Road / the caller requested officers presence while he removed personal property from his previous residence, however; the homeowner was not on scene at this time and the caller was advised. No report. 

1134 Hrs., Lost Property/Station Call / 6016 Princess Garden Parkway/ Off duty Correctional Officer Lost his departmental issued badge. He was provided with the report number to submit to his department. REPORT WRITTEN

1200 Hrs., MPS/Station Call 6016 Princess Garden Pkwy, the Complaint stated he was involved in a verbal dispute with a friend that turned physical yesterday on (04/08/18). The complaint did not have any visible injuries or signs of an assault. The incident occurred outside city jurisdiction and he was advised to seek further assistance through the district court commissioner’s office. No report.  

1326 Hrs., Check Welfare 7600 block Fontainebleau Drive / Caller wanted to report she had trouble sleeping for the past several weeks. Prince George’s County Ambulance responded to scene and transported her to the hospital for medical assistance. No report.

1823 HOURS- SUSPICIOUS PERSON- 8300 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.- THE CALLER STATED A MALE WAS INSIDE THE T/A FOR HOURS. OFFICERS STOPPED THE SUBJECT, CHECKED FOR WARRANTS YIELDING IN NEGATIVE RESULTS. THE MALE SUBJECT WAS ADVISED AND SEND HIM ON HIS WAY. REPORT WRITTEN

2018 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.- ALL CLEAR.

2138 HOURS-  MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  REPEATED COMPLAINTS OF MALES DRINKING, SMOKING C.D.S., AND GAMBLING IN THE AREA.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, CANVASED THE COMPLEX, BUT DID NOT OBSERVE ANY SUSPICIOUS OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES AT THAT TIME.

2239 HOURS- NOISE COMPLAIN- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.- THE CALLER STATED THAT HER NEIGHBOR IS MAKING TOO MUCH NOISE. OFFICERS MET WITH THE CALLER AND NEIGHBOR, BOTH PARTIES WERE ADVISED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

0022 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- HERITAGE SQUARE.- ALL CLEAR.

0133 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8500 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.- ALL CLEAR.

0216 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 7300 BLOCK GAVIN ST.-  ALL CLEAR. 

0337 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  REPEATED COMPLAINTS OF MALES DRINKING, SMOKING C.D.S., AND GAMBLING IN THE AREA.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, CANVASED THE COMPLEX, BUT DID NOT OBSERVE ANY SUSPICIOUS OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES AT THAT TIME.

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. Report Written 0807 Hours - Suspicious Person - 7700 Block of Riverdale Rd: An unknown caller advised a male in gray was asleep under the stairwell unresponsive. Officers responded and made contact with the subject who advised he was on the bus all night and needed a place to sleep. The male checked negative for warrants and was sent on his way. Upon arrival, officers spoke with both drivers, who claimed no injuries while on the scene. Both vehicle was disabled in the roadway and impounded for safekeeping.
