0659 Missing Person/ 7300 block Good Luck Rd- juvenile female left the residence. She has no mental or medical conditions

0940 Warrant Service/ 4900 block Rhode Island Ave- subject had an open warrant through NCPD and was apprehended without incident and walked to DOC. Subject was served the warrant by DOC. REPORT WRITTEN

1140 Recovered Property/ 6016 Princess Garden Pkwy- owner recovered their vehicle that was stolen from New Carrollton in DC. While checking the vehicle, they noticed there was property left from the suspects. Officers processed the property for prints with negative results. The property was placed in NCPD property for safe keeping. REPORT WRITTEN

1148 Parking Complaint/ 5900 block 89th Ave- citizen complained about a trailer parked on the street. The trailer is not stolen and was issued a parking citation with 72hr notice.

1320 Premise Check/ 6000 Block Mentana St- area was clear, no suspicious activity observed

1530 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd - business, as usual, spoke with security. There were no issues reported

1535 Traffic Complaint/ 85th Pl @ Carrollton Pkwy - gray vehicle speeding in the area. Officers canvassed the area with negative results

1542 Disorderly/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd- customer didn't like the direction the stylist shaved her nails. The customer demanded a refund and was advised by management no refund. The customer left without incident

1630 Assist/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd - roadside assistance needed help entering a BMW X5. 

1710 Disabled Vehicle/ 8800 Block Annapolis Rd vehicle was pushed out of the road

1920 5300 block 85th Ave- Juvenile complaint, caller stated that several juveniles were throwing rocks at her front door.  Officers arrived on scene and juveniles were gone on arrival.  Caller advised there was no damage done to the door.  Caller was advised.

1935 5700 block 84th Ave- Citizen Robbery- caller stated he was on his way home from work and at 5700 block 84th Ave when two black males (one with short dreads wearing all black clothing and the second with short hair wearing all black clothing) jumped out from behind a parked truck.  He stated they walked towards him when they came out from behind the truck and struck him.  He was knocked to the ground where they repeatedly struck him until he gave them his phone.  They then demanded the passcode to go with it.  Victim suffered minor injuries to his head, elbow, and hand.  Fireboard was not needed due to this occurring around midnight the previous night.  Prince George's County Detectives were notified and arrived on scene to conduct the investigation.  NC3 was notified of the incident as well. REPORT WRITTEN

2005 Shoppers - Officers were notified of a female that was standing outside of the store, who was possibly involved in an abduction from King George's County Virginia Sheriff's Department.  Officers contacted the Supervisor on scene who asked us to take the female to a safe location to wait for her family to come and pick her up.  Officers took her back to the Police station to meet her family there.  Supervisor stated she did not need to be in our custody, just in a safe spot.  REPORT WRITTEN

2203 8600 block Preston St - Suspicious Persons, caller stated there were five juveniles in the area looking into vehicle windows.  The caller left no information to contact them and no definitive description of any of the males in the area.  Officers canvased the area with nothing located.

2240 6500 block Auburn St. - Sgt. Burkett assisted Prince George's County Police with female searches.  

2300 School Check - Lamont Elementary School - check clear.

2314 6400 block 85th Ave - Suspicious vehicles occupied, Officers spoke with the male and female and discovered they lived in the area and were conducting a child exchange.  They were advised.

2320 8300 block Larchwood St - Verbal Dispute- caller stated the male half took her Green Card and refused to give it back to her because she wanted to move to New York.  Officers advised the male half he needed to give the card back to the female.  They were both advised.

0005 Business Check - 7-11, check clear.

0030 Business Check - Plaza 30, check clear.

0040 7700 block Arehart Dr. - Suspicious vehicle- Officers spoke to the persons inside and the male was dropping the female off from work, they were advised.

0052 Larchwood St at Verona Dr. - Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

0105 Residential check- 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr. - Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

0120 8300 Block of Annapolis Rd- Traffic stop, stop was cleared without incident.

0140 5900 block 84th Ave- Traffic complaint, caller wanted to speak to an officer about a vehicle that ran through the stop sign around 1000 hours the day before.  Caller was advised the routes he could take if that occurs again.

0143 5300 block 85th Ave. - Citizen Robbery, caller stated a black male with short dreads wearing a white T-shirt and jeans came up behind her and put an object to her head and demanded her items.  She stated she stopped to look for something in her backseat when he came up behind her.  When the female did not give up the items, due to being scared, the male reached over her and grabbed her purse, gym bag, and cell phone.  The incident happened 15-20 minutes prior to Officers arrival; therefore Prince George's County K-9 was contacted for a track.  K-9 Officer tracked but ended with negative results.  Prince George's County Detective were contacted and arrived on scene. Prince George's County Officers graciously assisted with the perimeter for the K-9 track.  NC3 was notified. REPORT WRITTEN

0310 4900 block 78th Ave. - Assist Prince George's County Police with a perimeter for a K-9 track from a Theft from Auto.  Speaking with county officers the description of the male was the same as the one in the above listed from 5300 block 85th Ave.  Property was recovered by vehicle that belonged to the Victim listed above.  Property was taken and placed into our property locker with the ability to return to the owner.  Canvass of the area was conducted with negative results.  This case number is linked to the incident above.

0720 Disorderly Person/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd/ Upon officers arrival the disorderly person was GOA.

0740 Check Welfare/8300 block Legation Road - Officers responded to a check on the welfare (male unconscious behind the wheel). Upon approach officer woke up the male who immediately started reaching into the center console. He was detained and removed from the car. Officers smelled an odor consistent with marijuana and conducted a search which revealed drugs and a handgun. The male was transported to doc for processing. A check through PGPD Communications revealed the gun was stolen out of (whatever state). C.I.D. and NC#2 were notified. REPORT WRITTEN

1012 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd/ all clear

1100 Suspicious Person/ 7600 block Fountainbleau Dr. - caller stated male subject was sleeping in the hall way and refused to leave. Upon officers arrival the male subject was GOA.

1115 Assault & Attempted Carjacking/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. - caller stated a male subject wearing all black had just cut another male while attempting to steal his vehicle from him. When officers arrived on scene the suspect was observed sitting in the victims cars. The victim was located inside his residence suffering from a large laceration to his right arm. The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to DOC for presentation of charges. CID was notified of the incident. 1130 Theft from Auto/ 7400 block Leahy Rd- caller while on vacation S-1 shattered the rear window of his work van and stole property. REPORT WRITTEN

1323 Interim Protective Order Violation/ 8300 Block of Annapolis Rd- Victim stated while at work her estranged husband used his vehicle to block in her vehicle and approached her. The victim’s estranged husband sent several email messages over the course of two hours attempting to contact her. The suspect fled the scene prior to officer’s arrival; a warrant application was presented and granted by the District Court Commissioner of Prince George's County. REPORT WRITTEN

1620 Residential Alarm/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. - accidental by home owner who had forgotten the deactivation code.

1715 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd/ all clear.

1829 Hrs. 7800 block Riverdale Rd/ added info, R-1 reported she needed to enter new information into a police report. The report was generated through the county; a county unit was dispatched to handle this incident.

1938 5400 block 85th Ave/ Custody dispute, The child was released into the mother's custody without further incident.

2011 6600 block Ian St/ Family dispute, R-1 reported her mother and grandmother were arguing. The mother left the residence for the night.

2036 5700 block 85th Ave/ Disorderly, R-1 stated her ex-boyfriend periodically comes around and needed information about how to handle this incident. R-1 was advised to seek services through the court commissioner’s office.  

2040 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / Fight call, Upon arrival R-1 reported he had a verbal argument with his roommate. The dispute had been settled prior to officers arriving.

2201 8400 block Annapolis Rd/ Premise Check, Area checked clear.

2240 6400 Block Inlet St. / Unknown trouble, an anonymous citizen reported they heard someone yell for help. Officers canvased the area nothing found.

2254 5900 block Westbrook Ter. /Domestic, V-1 reported S-1, her ex- lover, which she has a protective order against entered her residence by unknown means. S-1 stole her phone, keys, and $260 in cash. A domestic violence lethality screening was conducted, V-1 screened in according to protocol; V-1 refused services provided by DVSP advocate.  An application for a warrant was filed at the court commissioner’s office. A warrant was issued for 1st and 4th-degree burglary, 2 counts of violating a protective order, and theft under $1000. Det. Robinson of CID was notified of this incident. REPORT WRITTEN

0720 Suspicious Persons/ 85th Ave & Annapolis Rd- caller stated approximately five juvenile had walked near her car making videos with their phones. Upon officers arrival the juveniles were GOA.

0835 Premise Check/ 8500 block Annapolis RD- check clear.

 0900 Missing Person/ 5400 block 85th Ave/ caller stated his 18 year old daughter was missing. Further investigation revealed his daughter had moved into her own apartment in Montgomery County and was in good health.

0915 Theft From Auto/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd/ Heritage Square Apartments- caller stated a male subject was walking up to random vehicles pulling on door handles. The caller then stated the male subject made entry into an unsecured vehicle. As officers arrived in the area the male subject fled on foot. The subject was apprehended (without injury to suspect or officers) and found to be in possession of stolen property. He was placed under arrest and transported to D.O.C. for processing. C.I.D. was notified. REPORT WRITTEN

2117 Recovered Stolen Auto/ 8100 Block Quentin St/ Owner stated he was driver around and located his stolen vehicle. There were no signs of forced entry and owner stated he left the keys on the dashboard. The vehicle was processed for fingerprints with negative results and the vehicle was taken out of NCIC. 2206 6000 Block of Mentana St and the Pathway between Vera Cope Park and Powhatan St, Officers conducted a foot patrol in the area.  Citizens have been complaining about suspicious behavior, possible sale of drugs, gambling, and loitering of unknown persons, check clear.

0710 Parking Complaint/ 8400 block Malissa St resident responded to the station and complained a Toyota Rav4 was blocking his driveway. Officers responded and issued a parking violation and notified the driver who moved the vehicle

1050 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. area was clear, no suspicious activity observed

1120 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd met with parishioners while entering the building

1140 Check Welfare/ Veterans Pkwy @ Annapolis Rd male sitting in a vehicle for three days. The male was located 

1227 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd business as usual. Officers conducted a foot patrol

1358 Parking Complaint/ 6400 block Kaslo St vehicle was moved, prior to officers arrival

1424 ACRS/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. Victim was backing out and was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot. The striking vehicle failed to stop. REPORT WRITTEN

1605 Premise Check/ Oliver St @ Vicar St area was clear

1700 Premise Check/ 6000 Mentana St area was clear, no issues observed in the area

1820 7300 block Gavin St/ Check on the Welfare, caller stated there was a female passed out on the sidewalk.  When Officers arrived on scene the female was passed out and unable to answer questions asked by Officers.  Due to her inability to know whereabouts or any information as to her residence, Fire board transported her right away.  After Officers assisted with several other calls they arrived to Doctors Hospital to gather any information on the female they could in order to contact her family and check on her welfare.  Nurses at the hospital advised she did not come to the hospital because they’re routed to Children's Hospital in Washington D.C.  After several phone calls Officers located the female at Children's Hospital and spoke to the social worker who checked her in.  She gave us all of the information she could on the female and advised her Mother was on her way.  Officers also spoke to the Mother to make sure and she stated she was at the hospital.  The guardian of the juvenile was at the hospital to give permission to treat her. REPORT WRITTEN

1910 hours Pep Boys/ Assist Landover Hills Police Department, Officers assisted in the perimeter of a commercial alarm with an open door.  Check was clear and secured.

1950 hours 5900 block Harland St/ Follow up to the above call at 1820 hours on Gavin St.  Officers located the Mother and she was almost at the hospital.

2010 hours Business Check/ New Carrollton City Pool, check clear.

2030 hours Residential Check/ 8500 Block of Madison St, 5900 Block of 87th Ave, 8500 Block of Legation St., and Beckett Field, complaint of possible drug activity, suspicious vehicles in the area, illegal dumping, and vandalism to the street lights.  Officers checked the area with no signs of the listed.

2045 hours 5300 block 85th Ave/ Juvenile complaint, Security stated that kids were hanging around in the building and they want them out.  Security was advised they lived in the complex and were visiting another friend.  They were not being loud or disorderly at all.  They were all advised.

2110 Save A Lot/ 911 Hang-up call, Officers arrived to have security tell them a boyfriend of an employee was causing a scene by yelling and intoxicated in front of the store.  They were given information on what they needed to do to have him stay away from the store.  

2145 hours Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

2215 hours 8400 block Annapolis Rd/ Suspicious Persons call, male walked out of the woods to the vehicle of the female from above call.  Female stated she did not want her in her vehicle she just wanted to go home.  She left the area with no issues.

2250 hours 8600 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic Stop, stop was cleared without incident.

2324 hours Veterans Pkwy and Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop was cleared without incident.

2314 hours Shell Gas station/ Unknown Trouble, no information by the caller but when Officers arrived on scene they observed several males at the window.  The clerk then spoke with Officers and stated that several males were attempting to buy items with a counterfeit 20 dollar bill.  The clerk stated he did not know which male gave it to him and he did not give them any items in exchange.  There is no suspect information and no loss of the store.  The money was confiscated and will be turned over to the FBI. REPORT WRITTEN

1738 hours Animal complaint 7300 block Gavin Street, the caller reported while walking her dog; a German Shepard attacked her dog. Officers located the owner of the attacking dog at 7300 block Gavin Street; further investigation revealed no attack occurred, both dogs were in good health and sustained no injuries. Both pet owners were advised; N.C. animal control was notified and will conduct a follow-up.

1828 hours 7400 block Longbranch Dr. / Tree in the roadway, Officers arrived to see part of one of the City of New Carrollton trees laying across the roadway blocking it from clear travel.  As Officers were attempting to contact Public Works, the Prince George's County Public Works truck showed up and cut the tree in smaller pieces for moving.  Officers moved the pieces to the side of the road and opened the roadway back up for clear travel.

1931 hours Cozi Furniture/ Dispute over how the caller wanted a refund for items the warehouse did not carry anymore, but the business refused.  Officers were able to convince the business to issue a refund to the caller; however it would take a few days.

2048 hours 85th Ave and Annapolis Rd/ Vehicle was disabled in the roadway.  Officers arrived and assisted the caller with moving the vehicle off of the roadway.

2140 hours Madison and 87th St/ Sound of shots fired, caller stated it sounded like a bomb went off on the street.  Officers canvased the area and discovered a small black mark on the street and evidence of a possible fire cracker going off.  Officers spoke to witnesses however no persons were seen committing the act. REPORT WRITTEN

2151 hours 8300 block Quentin St/ Unknown Trouble (Unwanted Guest), caller stated he and his brother had been fighting for hours and his dad was tired of it.  Dad asked the one brother to leave and he refused.  Officers spoke with the brother and he left on his own accord, with no issues.

2212 hours 5300 block 85th Ave/ Domestic Dispute, caller stated she and her boyfriend got into a physical altercation and the boyfriend grabbed her arm in an attempt to push her out of the apartment.  Boyfriend was gone prior to Officers arrival; she screened in on the Domestic Violence Lethality but did not want to speak to a counselor at this time.  She was advised what steps she needed to take next. REPORT WRITTEN

2317 hours Fairbanks St and Carrollton Pkwy/ Loud music, after several minutes Officers located the party on the other side of the street.  Officers spoke to the home owner and advised them to lower the music.  They lowered it without incident and apologized.  

2336 hours 7500 block Riverdale Rd/ Family Dispute, caller stated her 70 year old mother was abusing her.  Officers discovered the mother suffers from many illnesses to include a brain injury, which can cause the mother to act like that.  Both parties were talked to and the mother agreed to take her medicine.  The daughter was given information to contact the Department of Aging to possibly get some assistance with taking care of her mother.  

2350 hours 8100 block Quentin St/ Unknown Trouble; Officers were cancelled prior to arrival by the caller.

2355 hours Westbrook Dr. and Powhatan St/ Hit and Run, upon investigation it was discovered that the accident did not occur in our jurisdiction they were transferred to the County Police in order to report it.

0010 hours 8400 block Malissa St/ loud party, caller stated there was a loud party at this address.  Offices arrived spoke to the home owner and they turned the music down with no issues.

0034 hours 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. Stolen Auto, caller stated her vehicle was stolen.  Offices exhausted all means to locate the vehicle and finally placed the vehicle as stolen in NCIC. REPORT WRITTEN

0125 hours Annapolis Rd at Garrison Pl/ Traffic stop, Officers assisted Prince George's County Police with a traffic stop.  Stop cleared without any issues/
