NCPD CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION DIVISION WAS NOTIFIED OF THE INCIDENT.  REPORT WRITTEN

1122 HOURS/ DISORDERLY/ 7600 BLOCK FOUNTAINBLEAU DR- CALLER STATED SHE NEEDED TO PICK UP CLOTHING ROM A FRIENDS HOUSE. OFFICERS ARRIVED AND ASSISTED. NO DISORDERLY BEHAVIORS OCCURRED.

1145 HOURS/ PROPERTY DAMAGE REPORT/ 7800 BLOCK RIVERDALE RD - PROPERTY MANAGER CALLED STATING HE HAD BEEN ADVISED THAT ONE OF THE RESIDENTS HAD DAMAGED THEIR APARTMENT DOOR. REPORT WRITTEN

1550 HOUR/ PREMISE CHECK/ 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD - ALL CLEAR.

1630 HOURS/ PREMISE CHECK/ 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD - ALL CLEAR.

1714 HOURS/ PREMISE CHECK/ QUENTIN ST & GAVIN ST- ALL CLEAR.

1737 HOURS/ WELFARE CHECK/ 6000 BLOCK 85TH AVE - THE CALLER STATED HER NEIGHBOR WHO'S DEAF HAD BEEN LOCKED OUT OF HER RESIDENCE FOR A FEW HOURS. THE CALLERS NEIGHBOR STATED HER HUSBAND, WHO IS ALSO DEAF, WAS TAKING A NAP WHILE SHE WAS OUT IN THE YARD WORKING. THE NEIGHBOR MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO GAIN THE ATTENTION OF HER HUSBAND WHICH WERE UNSUCCESSFUL. IN FEAR FOR HER HUSBAND’S HEALTH, WHO HAS BEEN HAVING COMPLICATIONS WITH HIS HEART, SHE CONTACTED POLICE FOR ASSISTANCE. OFFICE ARRIVED ON SCENE AND FORCED ENTRY THROUGH THE SIDE STORM DOOR BY SHATTERING THE GLASS. ONCE INSIDE OFFICERS LOCATED THE HUSBAND IN THE BASEMENT IN GOOD HEALTH. REPORT WRITTEN.
1740 HOURS/THEFT REPORT/ 8300 BLOCK VERONA DR- THE VICTIM STATED HE UTILIZED THE UBER SERVICE TO TAKE HIM HOME. THE VICTIM STATED ONCE HOME HE REALIZED HE HAD FORGOTTEN HIS BAG CONTAINING SEVERAL ITEMS OF VALUE. THE VICTIM STATED HE MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT THE DRIVER WHICH WERE UNSUCCESSFUL. THE VICTIM CONTACTED POLICE FOR ASSISTANCE. OFFICERS WERE ABLE TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE DRIVER WHO STATED SHE WOULD RETURN THE PROPERTY TO THE NEW CARROLLTON POLICE STATION AT APPROXIMATELY 1700 HOURS.  UPON 1700 HOURS THE UBER DRIVER WAS A NO SHOW, OFFICERS AGAIN MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT THE UBER DRIVER WHICH WERE UNSUCCESSFUL. REPORT WRITTEN

1817 Accident/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd -The complainant left and went home to 5500 block Karen Elaine Drive. After speaking with officers, she decided she didn't need our help and refused services

1847 Burglary Arrest/ 6100 block Lamont Drive -silent alarm from temp building. While checking buildings, officers observed someone peeping out the door. Officers made contact and apprehension without incident. NCPD CID responded and interviewed the suspect who admitted to entering another building. The suspect was transported to P.G. DOC Regional Processing, Hyattsville for presentation of charges. NC3 was notified of this incident. Report Written

1925 MPS/ 7800 block Riverdale Rd -Two males were involved in a physical altercation. Upon arrival, the males were in the parking lot arguing over a cell phone. The cell phone was given to the requester. Both parties were provided case numbers and referred to the commissioner's office. Report Written.

1947 Domestic/ 8300 block Oliver St -No domestic, complainant received a package from a person whom they have a final peace order. Complainant advised to speak with the courts

2022 Disorderly/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd -irate customer in the lobby. The customer left prior to officers arrival

2117 Noise Complaint/ 5500 block 85th Ave -Complainant complained of banging noise. The resident was moving a bed and was advised to be mindful of their neighbor

2145 Premise Check/ Plaza 30 businesses were closing for the evening. No issues were observed or reported

 2215 Assist/ 7700 block Finns Ln -Officers assisted PGPD with a disorderly subject. The subject fled prior to arrival.

0000 Suspicious Vehicle/ 7700 block Arehart Dr. - officer observed a vehicle occupied in the parking lot. The subjects checked negative for warrants. Report Written.

0028 Disorderly/ 5300 block 85th Ave -Several males gambling in the area. Officers arrived and canvassed with negative results.

0137 Residential Alarm/ 7400 block Long Branch Dr. -Basement door alarm activated, the door was secure. No signs of tampering. Unable to make contact with homeowner.

0205 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd -There were no issues reported, business as usual.

0310 Premise Check/ 8100 block Annapolis Rd -Parking lot was clear, business was closed for the evening.

0415 Premise Check/ 7800 block Riverdale Rd -Area was clear, no suspicious activity. Assisted a citizen with jumper cables.


0430 Parking Violation/ 6300 block 87th Ave -Car hauler not loaded with vehicles was issued a parking citation.

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. Report Written 0807 Hours - Suspicious Person - 7700 Block of Riverdale Rd: An unknown caller advised a male in gray was asleep under the stairwell unresponsive. Officers responded and made contact with the subject who advised he was on the bus all night and needed a place to sleep. The male checked negative for warrants and was sent on his way. 0645 Hours -Premise Check- 8400 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0722 Hours -Premise Check- 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0813 Hours -Vandalism- 7900 Block of Legation Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for the vandalism of a vehicle. Officers spoke with the caller who stated his vehicle had been broken into. Officers gathered all information needed and generated a report.  Report Written 1028 Hours -Disorderly- 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for a disorderly male.
