Caller reported her aunt had a medical emergency. The ambulance arrived on scene
and advised the patient has diabetes, and her sugar was low. She was assisted
and refused to go to the hospital. No report
1302 hrs- Property Damage 7800 block Riverdale
Road- Caller reported she parked her vehicle at this location overnight and
realized an unknown suspect struck her vehicle and fled in an unknown
direction. After explaining the procedure and process to the caller, she
declines further police services because she realizes she would still have to
pay out of pocket due to lack of evidence. All clear no report.
1338 hrs- Shoplifter 7700 block Riverdale Road-
Loss Prevention apprehended two suspects for stealing merchandise. A warrant
check on both suspects yielded negative results. Loss Prevention did not want
to follow with criminal charges. The suspects were advised and sent on their
way.
1425 hrs- 7700 block Annapolis Road- County
was busy, and dispatch requested NCPD officer’s assistance to respond for a
suspect panhandling and; loitering at the business. Upon officers arrival the
suspect was gone, a canvass of the area yielded negative results.

1712 hrs- Premise check 6000 block of Mentana
Street- all clear
1840 hrs- 7600 block Riverdale Rd- Caller
stated there was a Honda parked in the bus lane and several vehicles almost
struck it. Officers located the vehicle and ran the tag for information
to attempt to locate the owner. The vehicle was parked with the hood up
and no hazard lights on. After several minutes of Officers canvasing the
area the owner arrived with a gas can in hand stating the vehicle ran out of
gas. Officers made sure the vehicle started and the owner was on her way
with no issues.
1920 hrs- 8500 block Annapolis Rd- Check on
the welfare of a male passed out in the grass area. Officers located the
male and for several minutes attempted to wake him but were unable to.
The male finally woke and discovered he was intoxicated and complaining of
stomach pain. Fireboard was called and transported him to the hospital
for treatment.
1940 hrs- 6000 Block
of Mentana St and the Pathway between Vera Cope Park and Powhatan St.- Officers
conducted a foot patrol in the area. Citizens have been complaining about suspicious
behavior, possible sale of drugs, gambling, and loitering of unknown persons,
check clear.
1955 hrs- Residential
check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons
loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.
2005 hrs- Residential
check/ Heritage Square Apartments, check clear.
2020 hrs- Annapolis Rd at the Beltway/ Vehicle
accident, one vehicle was disabled. It occurred in David Sector of Prince
George's County Police, who were contacted to handle. Officer stayed on
scene until County Police arrived.
2049 hrs- 6100 block 86th Ave./ Property
Damage, owner called stating that the rear window of her residence had been
broken. Officers checked and there were no signs of any object being used to
cause the damage. At this time she is unsure how the damage occurred.

2100 hrs- 6100 Block of Westbrook Dr. Parking
complaint, a truck was parked blocking part of the roadway, owner moved it with
no issues.
2125 hrs- School
Check/ Carrollton Elementary School, check clear.
2205 hrs- Mentana St/ Station call for
fireworks all up and down the street. Officer checked the area along with
Vera Cope Park and surrounding streets with negative results. RCOP
2215 hrs- Charles Carroll Middle School/ There
were several vehicles and persons in the parking lot, who stated they were
playing basketball. Officers advised them they could stay for a bit to
talk but it was dark and they had to leave, all parties were compliant and
understood.
2230 hrs- Business
check/ New Carrollton City Pool, movie night at the pool so Patrons were there
late, check clear.
2310 hrs- Business
check/ 7-11, check clear.

loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.
0050 hrs- 8500 block Annapolis Rd (Parking
Garage)/ Suspicious Persons (x10) all were guests of the hotel hanging out in
the garage area. Officers advised them they could not be sitting in the
dark with cups from the hotel. They were advised to take it back into the
hotel and remain in there for the evening. All parties were cooperative
and moved back into their rooms.

0150 hrs- 8300 block Oliver St/ Suspicious
Person- caller stated she believes a man she had a protective order out on last
year maybe back in the area causing damage to the grass. She has no
specific information as to dates, times, descriptions, and or vehicles.
She asked if we could come back tomorrow and she will provide us with
a picture and further information.

Inlet St. -Citizen complaints of CDS use by male hanging out in the area and do

Check/ 8500 Block of Madison St, 5900 Block of 87th Ave, 8500 Block of Legation
St., and Beckett Field, complaint of possible drug activity, suspicious
vehicles in the area, illegal dumping, and vandalism to the street
lights. Officers checked the area with no signs of the listed.
0350 hrs- 495 Southbound at 50- Assist
Maryland State Police with their dispatch being unable to reach their trooper
out on a traffic stop. Prior to Offices arriving the Trooper had cleared
the scene and was safe.
