0545 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Burglary, Caller stated they could
hear 2 people inside the apartment (vacant) arguing. Caller stated they
know the apartment is vacant and no one should be inside. As Officers
approached the apartment, a male walked out of the apartment and was
stopped. He was identified and verified he did not live at the
apartment. He was placed under arrest and transported for presentation of
charges. Officers also searched another apartment that neighbors believed
he may have been in and discovered items (the male identified) as belonging to
him. Both locations were secured by maintenance, which was on scene to
provide keys to officers. REPORT WRITTEN

building hallways, laundry rooms, front of buildings and around the vehicles,

0930 hrs., 7300 Block of Longbranch Dr. /
Assist New Carrollton Police Detectives with the execution of search warrant of
a residence. This was due to an ongoing investigation. REPORT WRITTEN
1245 hrs., 7800 block Riverdale Rd/ Accident, minor damage to both
vehicles and no injuries reported on scene. Officers exchanged
information between both parties.
1320 hrs., Business
check/ 8300 Block of Annapolis Rd (Foot Patrol), check clear.
1404 hrs., 8200 block Quentin St/ Family Dispute, caller stated
her sister’s boyfriend was upset with her and made a threat against her.
The male was not on scene and family members did not want to cooperate and give
any information. From what little information was able to be obtained it
was discovered the incident occurred in a hospital outside of our
jurisdiction. All parties present were advised of what actions and
paperwork they could apply for.
1455 hrs., Sprague Pl and Fairbanks St/ Caller stated there was a
male riding a dirt bike on the street but he was loading it up on a
truck. Caller stated he wanted us to remind him about the laws and he
could not ride a dirt bike on the streets. Officers checked the area as
well as spoke to neighbors but nothing found.
1516 hrs., 7-11/ Accident, both vehicles sustained minor damage
and no injuries were reported on scene. Information was exchanged by
Officers on scene.
1605 hrs., Station call/ Legation and Topton St, Legation and 84th
Ave, and Legation and Oglethorpe/ Parking complaint, all the areas were checked
as a concern from a citizen about commercial vehicles. Officers found
none of the issues listed by the citizen, however we spoke to the owner of one
of the vehicles and she advised it does move every couple days.
1635 hrs., Business
Check/ Metro Points Hotel, check clear.
1640 hrs.., Public Works/ Suspicious Person, spoke to one of the
employees who stated a male just left the locked facility and she wanted to
know if it could be checked for any other subjects inside. Officers
checked the area with nothing found.
1740 hrs., CVS/ Theft, Officers arrived and spoke to management
who advised the individuals left the store prior to our arrival.
Management could not verify what, if any items were stolen from the business.
1803 Disorderly/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd - an
eviction was served on a person renting a room. The evicted wanted to know why
their stuff was outside. They were advised and left without incident.
1928 Lost Property/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd -
caller stated lost his documents in 2017 during a family dispute. Case numbers
provided for reference only.
1937 Assist/ 7800 block Riverdale Rd - PGSO was
serving a protective order.
2000 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd - area was clear
2130 Vandalism to
Auto/ 7800 block Riverdale Rd - ex-girlfriend
friend cut the victims tires, super glued the locks and stole the vehicle's
tags. REPORT WRITTEN
