0640 HOURS - PREMISE CHECK- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD - OFFICERS CHECKED THE AREA FOR SUSPICIOUS PERSONS, VEHICLES OR ACTIVITIES, NONE OF WHICH WERE OBSERVED. NO REPORT

 

0723 hours - Property damage – 6600 block Rycroft Avenue: The caller stated that someone broke his rear pickup truck window. Officers responded to the location, gathered all the information for the report and advised the caller. Report generated

 

0825 hours - Premise Check - 5200-5400 block of 85th Avenue: Officers on patrol conducted a premise check of the area for suspicious persons or activities, none of which were observed. No report 

 

0945 hours - Premise check - 7700 block of Riverdale Road: All clear.

 

1035 hours - Premise Check - 8200 block Annapolis Road: check clear.

 

1145 hours - Premise Check - 5500 block of Karen Elaine Drive: Officers on patrol conducted a premise check of the area for suspicious persons or activities, none of which were observed. No report 

 

1228 hours - Accident - 7700 block Riverdale Road: Unit 1 struck Unit 2, property damage only. Officers responded to the location and exchanged information between both drivers. No report.

 

1300 hours- Premise check - Plaza 30:  check clear.

 

1340 hours- Premise check - Metro Points Hotel: check clear.

 

1400 hours- Disorderly Arrest - 7-11:  Caller stated there was a male and female at the location bothering customers.  Officers arrived and asked the female half to leave (without incident).  Officers asked the male half several times to leave and he refused saying he wanted to go to jail.  He was banned from that location by several officers so he was transported to DOC for processing.  Report written

 

1430 hours- Premise check - Beckett Field and Hanko Building: check clear.

 

1450 hours - Parking Complaint - 5700 block of 84th Ave, caller stated there were several vehicles parked that do not belong there.  Officers checked all the vehicles (they were legally parked.)  The caller was advised.  No Report.

 

1502 hours- 8300 block Annapolis Rd. - Check on Welfare, caller stated there was a male passed out in front of the business.  Officers checked and located the male.  He was intoxicated and homeless, therefore fireboard was called to check on his health.  He refused treatment and was sent on his way.  No Report.

 

1540 hours- Jodie St - Parking Complaint, caller stated there was a vehicle parked on the sidewalk.  Officers checked the area but no vehicle was located.  No Report.

 

1550 hours- 5800 block Mentana St - Found, caller stated they reported their Apple watch stolen in Washington DC several days ago.  Caller stated she has pinged her watch to the address listed.  Officers checked the residence with negative results.  The caller was advised of the procedure for the watch ping.  No Report.

 

1630 hours- Premise check - New Carrollton Public Library: check clear.

 

1655 hours- Premise check - New Carrollton Pool: check clear.

 

1725 hours- Premise check - CVS Pharmacy: check clear.

 

1821Hours- Loud Music - 5900 block 89th Pl. Caller advised of loud music in the area. No music was heard by officers. No report

 

1904 Hours-Premise Check- 8400 block Annapolis Rd. Checked clear. 

 

1913 Hours- Commercial Alarm- 8500 block Annapolis Rd. Dispatch advised of an alarm at this location. The building checked secure. No report

 

1927 Hours- Custody Dispute-7500 block Riverdale Rd. Caller advised it was her weekend with the child. The child's father was refusing to turn the child over. The caller was advised. No report

 

 2030 Hours- Premise Check- Lamont Dr./ Riverdale Rd. Checked clear

 

2104 Hours- Assist PGPD- County police had a pursuit of a felony vehicle which ended in our jurisdiction. Officers from this agency assisted with the perimeter. Two suspects were caught and a gun was recovered. Handled by PGPD. No report

 

2245 Hours- Premise Check- 5400 block 85th Ave Checked clear

 

2325 Hours- 911 Hang Up- 7500 block Good Luck Rd. Dispatch advised of a child playing on the phone. The phone was traced to this area which was not a good location. No answer on call back. No report

 

2348 Hours-Vandalism- 7700 block Riverdale Rd. Caller advised their window was broken with a rock. The caller was requesting case numbers which were provided.  No report

 

0050 Hours- Premise Check- 7700\7800 Riverdale Rd. Checked clear

 

0145 Hours- Loud Music- 7900 block Legation Rd. The caller advised of loud music from this location. Officers made contact with the homeowner who turned the music off. No report

 

0226 Hours- Family Dispute- 7600 block Riverdale Rd. The caller advised she was having a dispute with her son because he did not want to watch QVC. Both were advised. No report

 

0252 Hours- Shooting- 8500 block Annapolis Rd. The caller was off of her medication and made a fake call to the police about a shooting at this location. Report written

 

0259 Hours- Domestic- 7600 block Riverdale Rd. The caller advised her boyfriend would not let her in the house. When officers arrived the caller could not be located. No answer on call back from the dispatcher. No report

  0630 hrs., Premise check/ Shoppers Food (Foot Patrol), check clear.   0645 hrs., Premise check/ Lowe's, check clear.   0700 hrs., 8000 block Powhattan St/ Suspicious persons, caller stated there was a person sleeping inside of a vehicle parked in front of their residence.  Officers located the vehicle and the persons inside sleeping.  Officers checked the individuals and the vehicle and observed nothing illegal at this time.  The individuals were advised and sent on their way.  Report written   0745 hrs., Premise check/ 7-11, check clear.   0821 hrs., 7600 block Fountainbleau Dr/ 911 Hang-up, communications stated there was a call from this address but prior to getting any information the phone hung up.  On callback communications stated there was no answer, only a prerecorded message.  Officers checked the rental office and it was locked and secure with no one inside.  No Report.   0847 hrs., 86...
