Officers assisted the other two parties on scene with exchanging information and gathering information on the fleeing vehicle. One passenger was transported to a local hospital for treatment, all others were provided case numbers and sent on their way. Report written

 

1456 HOURS-Hit and Run-5400 block 85th Ave.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a hit and run. Officers spoke with the caller who stated the accident occurred on Annapolis Road and e attempted to chase the vehicle and after failing went home. Due to the caller leaving the scene of the accident, the caller was provided with case numbers and advised to contact his insurance company. NO REPORT

 

1546 HOURS-Assist PGPD-7900 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers responded to this location after an officer in trouble was broadcast for an incident involving a male fighting with officers on scene. Officers responded and assisted with getting the male in custody. There was no use of force by New Carrollton officers. The incident was handled by PGPD. NO REPORT

 

1640 HOURS-Property Damage-5300 block 85th Ave.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a stolen auto. Officers spoke with the caller who advised the vehicle was towed and he retrieved the vehicle; however, upon getting his vehicle from the impound lot, he found damage to the vehicle. Due to not being able to verify the location where the supposed damage occurred the male was advised to seek further assistance through the district court and the tow company. NO REPORT

The caller stated she has been receiving multiple calls and text messages from unknown numbers. The caller advised that she suspects her ex-boyfriend is sending the messages and making the phone calls to scare her. Information was gathered for a report and the caller was advised to seek further assistance through the court commissioner for a protective order. REPORT WRITTEN

2018 Hours- disorderly- 5400 block 85Th Ave- Officers responded out for a subject damaging a vehicle in the parking lot. Upon arrival officers discovered the damaged vehicle. A registration check revealed the vehicle was stolen. officers recovered the vehicle. Report written

2153 Hours- Disorderly- 8500 block Annapolis Rd- Officers responded out to assist a family with an intoxicated relative. officers assisted the family and attempted to send the intoxicated male on his way.

2329 Hours-domestic- 6600 block Ian St- Officers responded for a boyfriend and girlfriend fighting. Officers responded out the listed address was owned by an older couple and advised nothing was going on at the residence. dispatch made multiple attempts to call the sig 4. no answer on the call back.

 

2336 Hours -Disorderly- 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr- Officers responded out to assist a family with an irate relative. Officers assisted the family and calmed the subject down. All parties were advised. 

 

0018 Hours- Premise Check- 8100 block Annapolis Rd- Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, the area checked clear.   

 

0023 Hours- warrant service/ Traffic- Annapolis Rd @ Riverdale Rd- Officers observed a vehicle fail to stop at a red signal. Upon stopping the vehicle, it was discovered the driver had an open warrant for driving without a driver’s lic. The driver was arrested and the vehicle was impounded. Report written
