0623 hrs., 7500 block Riverdale Rd/ Assist citizens with a lock in, caller stated they were inside of the apartment building and unable to unlock the door and get out of the building.  Officers were cancelled prior to their arrival due to the caller getting the door unlocked.

0650 hrs., 9000 Block of Annapolis Rd/ While on patrol officers discovered a vehicle in a ditch and an elderly female stepping out of the driver’s side.  Officers stopped to assist her and see if she required any medical assistance.  She stated she was fine and officers contacted Prince George's County David sector to handle, due to it being in their jurisdiction.

0745 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0820 hrs., Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

0900 hrs., Business check/ Carrollton Enterprises, check clear.

0915 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

1005 hrs., 8600 block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

1015 hrs., 7500 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

1040 hrs., 8600 block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

1100 hrs., 5800 block Oland Dr./ Property damage, caller stated she parked her vehicle on the street last night in good condition and when she went out this morning it was damaged in an unknown manner. REPORT WRITTEN

1130 hrs., Business check/ Shoppers, check clear.

1154 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr./ Stolen auto, once officers were on scene the caller came out and advised us the vehicle had been towed by the apartment complex.

1213 hrs., 8300 block Freemont Pl/ Child acting out, caller stated her son has a mental illness and was not taking his medication.  Once on scene officers discovered the family was visiting and the mother could see the child was getting upset and wanted him checked out by the paramedics.  Paramedics checked him and his vitals were normal.  She then wanted to speak to officers about what she can do about the medicine.  She was advised and due to no incident occurring sent on their way.

1300 hrs., Business check/ 8300 block of Annapolis Rd (Foot Patrol), check clear.

1335 hrs., Business check/ Beckett Field, check clear.

1415 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

1425 hrs., 7500 block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

1503 hrs., 6400 Block of Lamont Dr./ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

1540 hrs., Business check/ City of New Carrollton Pool, check clear.

1605 hrs., School check/ Charles Carroll Middle School, check clear.

1625 hrs., School check/ Carrollton Elementary School, check clear.

1700 hrs., Foodway/ Panhandlers, caller stated they believed there were two people outside of the business panhandling.  Two people were stopped who stated they were not from the area and asking people for directions and suggestions of places to go in the area.  They were sent on their way.

1845 Check Welfare/ 6400 block Inlet St/ a family member was checking on the resident who wasn't home. 

1918 Suspicious Vehicle/ Westbrook Dr. @ Legation Rd

1925 Suspicious Person/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd/ males were in the back lot. The males were confirmed by hotel staff

1950 Premise Check/ 8100 block Gavin St/ area was clear

2055 Accident/ Annapolis Rd @ 495/ accident handled by D-Sector

2100 Disorderly/ 6100 block Lamont Dr. /subjects in the car having relations. Officers canvased the area with negative results

2125 Premise Check/ 8100 block Annapolis Rd /business was closed and lot clear

2150 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. / area was clear, no suspicious activity observed

2212 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd business closed for the day, rear gate was open. Officer closed gate

2245 Commercial Alarm/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd /doors and windows were secure, unknown reason for activation 

2305 EPS/ 5800 block Mentana St / Subject had taken meds along with alcohol and started having issues. He made statements to officers which resulted in him being transported to the hospital for evaluation. REPORT WRITTEN

0200 Premise Check/ 7600 block Topton St /area was clear

0310 Premise Check/ 8100 block Annapolis Rd /business closed for the evening, lot clear

0515 Assist/ Annapolis Rd @ 495 / vehicle was disabled and needed flares
