0635 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0700 hrs., Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

0740 hrs., 8400 block Carrollton Pkwy/ Unknown trouble, upon officers arrival a Pepco Pole was discovered on fire at the top of the pole.  Due to the time we were waiting for Pepco to turn the power off so the Fire Department could put the fire out, two residents were evacuated for safety.  The road from 8432-8426 was blocked off for safety as well and to allow the firetruck and Pepco to have room to work.  The incident was due to natural cause no crime was committed.  

0900 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

0910 hrs., School check/ Lamont Elementary School, check clear.

0945 hrs., Business Check/ Carrollton Enterprise, check clear.

1005 hrs., Business Check/ City of New Carrollton Pool, check clear.

1045 hrs., 5700 block 83rd Pl/ Open line, call taker stated it was an open line and could hear children.  Officers arrived and spoke to the residents who stated yes it was the child playing on the phone.  They were advised.

1051 hrs., Charles Carroll Middle School/ Miscellaneous report, group of girls were arguing over some things that were posted on social media sites.  One girl threatened to beat up another girl.  No students live in the city and the incident occurred over the weekend, however it carried over to the school.  Cpl. Parker (School Resource Officer) took control of the incident. REPORT WRITTEN

1125 hrs., School Check/ Carrollton Elementary School, check clear.

1150 hrs., 7500 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

1226 hrs., 7500 block Riverdale Rd/ Stolen vehicle, caller stated he rented his vehicle to someone who is now refusing to return it.  He states he knows the person who has it but wants us to report that he has it so his insurance will not go after him.  I explained how it works to him and that he needs to seek the assistance of the Commissioner’s Office.

1245 hrs., 8500 block Annapolis Rd / Suspicious persons, hotel staff stated there were three males hanging around in the hotel attempting to check the rooms.  Upon officers arrival they were gone but we were given a direction of travel.  Officers checked the area and asked several businesses, who saw no persons matching the descriptions.  They were advised to contact us if they saw them again.

1330 hrs., 8300 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Business check (Foot Patrol), check clear.

1405 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

1450 hrs., Business check/ Beckett Field, check clear.

1510 hrs., 6100 Block of Lamont Dr./ Premise check for students acting disorderly and throwing trash in residents yards, check clear.  

1600 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

1635 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

1655 hrs., Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

1822 Premise Check/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd /business as usual

1944 Premise Check/ 8300 block Stanwood St/ mother and daughter were arguing and daughter was punching holes in the wall. The argument was over the water bill. Mother wanted daughter removed, she was advised to file for eviction

2015 Loud Music/ 5300 block 85th Ave music was turned down

2245 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. / area was clear, security was on premises

2329 Stolen Auto/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd/ the victim left his vehicle running in the parking lot for an approx. 1.5 hrs. Unknown suspect observed the vehicle and stole it. The vehicle was entered into NCIC as stolen. REPORT WRITTEN

0010 Premise Check/ 8300 block Quintana St /area was checked for loud music and suspicious activity with negative results

0045 Traffic Stop/ 7300 block Good Luck Rd subject had marijuana in the vehicle. 

0145 Recovered Stolen/ 9300 block Washington Blvd/ vehicle passed as officers were clearing the above traffic stop. Officer observed two males fleeing from the vehicle. One juvenile male subject was located and detained. The juvenile subject was released to his parent. Charlie's Towing impounded the vehicle for safekeeping and PGPD Teletype was notified. REPORT WRITTEN

  0630 hrs., Premise check/ Shoppers Food (Foot Patrol), check clear.   0645 hrs., Premise check/ Lowe's, check clear.   0700 hrs., 8000 block Powhattan St/ Suspicious persons, caller stated there was a person sleeping inside of a vehicle parked in front of their residence.  Officers located the vehicle and the persons inside sleeping.  Officers checked the individuals and the vehicle and observed nothing illegal at this time.  The individuals were advised and sent on their way.  Report written   0745 hrs., Premise check/ 7-11, check clear.   0821 hrs., 7600 block Fountainbleau Dr/ 911 Hang-up, communications stated there was a call from this address but prior to getting any information the phone hung up.  On callback communications stated there was no answer, only a prerecorded message.  Officers checked the rental office and it was locked and secure with no one inside.  No Report.   0847 hrs., 86...
