0645 hrs., Accident/ 8400 block Annapolis/ Unit 1 and Unit 2 had a traffic accident. Both parties exchange info.

0718 hrs., Stolen Auto/ 6400 block 86^th Avenue/ Caller stated to officers, that she had her vehicle running to warm it up. The caller stated she went inside her residence for a brief moment and when she came back outside, her vehicle was gone. REPORT WRITTEN

0755 hrs., Theft from Auto/5400 block 85^th Avenue/ Caller stated S-1 (Unknown) had stolen the rims off of his vehicle which was parked in from of his apartment complex. REPORT WRITTEN

0830 hrs., Premise Check - 6100 block of 85th Avenue/ All clear

0908 hrs., Premise Check - 5200-5400 block of 85th Avenue / All clear

0941 hrs., Premise Check – 8500 block Annapolis Road / All clear

1038 hrs., Stole Auto/ 5300 block 85^th Avenue/ Caller stated he parked his car in the parking lot in front of his apartment complex. The caller stated when he returned outside he noticed that his vehicle was gone. Caller advised officers that he left his car keys inside his vehicle. REPORT WRITTEN

1340 hrs., Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd/ All clear

1457 hrs., Custody Dispute/ 5800 block Mentana St/ Caller stated her children’s father came and picked them up from school without her permission. The caller stated that they have joint custody but today was not his day to have them. While on scene the father returned the children to the mother. The father advised officers he took his children to get some ice cream. Officers advised the father to ask the mother for permission to take the children on days he doesn’t have them.

1530 hrs., Hit & Run/ 6400 block 85^th Avenue/ Officers canvass the area for the signal 4, which yielded negative results. Officers and Police Dispatch made attempts to contact the signal 4 which yielded negative results.

1538 hrs., Suspicious unoccupied Vehicle/ 7400 block Longbranch Dr./ Officers observed a vehicle without the license plates attached to the vehicle. Charlie’s Towing responded to the scene and impounded the vehicle for safekeeping. REPORT WRITTEN

1545 hrs., Hit & Run/ 7600 block Good Luck Road/ Caller stated their vehicle was struck in front of their residence. The caller stated they were able to provide a license plate of the striking vehicle. Photographs were taken of this incident. REPORT WRITTEN

1727 hrs., Suspicious Vehicle/ Annapolis Rd @ 85^th Avenue/ Caller advised there’s a vehicle in front of them blocking them from leaving the apartment complex. Officers responded to observe a tow truck preparing to tow a vehicle. Officers assisted with traffic control.

1736 hrs., Assist Fireboard/ 8600 block Annapolis Rd, the caller reported subject was depressed and would not verbally respond. Fire board transferred the subject to Prince George’s Hospital for medical treatment.

1805 HOURS- HIT AND RUN- 7700 BLOCK RIVERDALE RD.-  CALLER COMPLAINED THAT HIS VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED IN THE PARKING LOT 4 DAYS PRIOR, AND HE AND THE DRIVER OF THE STRIKING VEHICLE HAD EXCHANGED INFORMATION AT THAT TIME.  THE CALLER WAS ADVISED TO CONTACT THE OTHER DRIVER AND THEIR INSURANCE COMPANY ABOUT THE INCIDENT, AND TO CONTACT POLICE AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT IN THE FUTURE.  NO REPORT.

1841 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  REPEATED COMPLAINTS OF MALES DRINKING, SMOKING C.D.S., AND GAMBLING IN THE AREA.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, CANVASED THE COMPLEX, BUT DID NOT OBSERVE ANY SUSPICIOUS OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES AT THAT TIME.

1850 HOURS- STOLEN VEHICLE- 5300 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  CALLER FROM EARLIER IN THE DAY ERRONEOUSLY REPORTED ONE OF HIS VEHICLES STOLEN, PROVIDING THE INFORMATION FOR A DIFFERENT VEHICLE THAN THE ONE TAKEN.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, TOOK THE ADDED INFORMATION AND CONFIRMED ITS ACCURACY.  TELETYPE WAS NOTIFIED AND THE VEHICLE INFORMATION WAS CORRECTED IN N.C.I.C. REPORT WRITTEN

1934 HOURS- ASSAULT- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  CALLER REPORTED SEEING AN ASSAULT BY A MALE AGAINST A FEMALE AT THE LOCATION.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, MET THE CALLER AND FEMALE HE IDENTIFIED; THE FEMALE WAS UNINJURED, DECLINED POLICE AND MEDICAL SERVICES, STATED SHE WAS NOT ASSAULTED AND LEFT THE SCENE.  NO ASSAULT VERIFIED, NO REPORT.

1945 HOURS- SUSPICIOUS PERSON- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  WHILE CANVASING THE AREA FOR THE ABOVE LISTED ASSAULT, OFFICERS OBSERVED THREE SUSPICIOUS PEOPLE IN A PARKED VEHICLE, TWO OCCUPANTS WERE MALES WHO MATCHED THE SUSPECT DESCRIPTION FROM THE ASSAULT CALL.  THE OCCUPANTS WERE STOPPED, IDENTIFIED, CHECKED NEGATIVE, PHOTOGRAPHED, ADVISED AND SENT ON THEIR WAY.

2145 HOURS- LOUD MUSIC- 6100 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  ANONYMOUS COMPLAINT OF THREE MALES PLAYING LOUD MUSIC AND WORKING ON VEHICLES IN THE STREET AT THE LOCATION.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, CANVASED THE AREA WITH NEGATIVE RESULTS, AND DID NOT OBSERVE ANY DISTURBANCES.

2153 HOURS- SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE- 6400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  OFFICERS ON PATROL OBSERVED A SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE PARKED AT ROBERT FROST AFTER HOURS.  THE OCCUPANTS OF THE VEHICLE WERE IDENTIFIED, CHECKED NEGATIVE, PHOTOGRAPHED, ADVISED AND SENT ON THEIR WAY.

AFTER SEEING THEIR VEHICLE WITH ITS TRUNK OPEN, AND NO ONE ANSWERED THE RESIDENCE DOOR UPON THE CALLERS KNOCKING.  OFFICERS RESPONDED AND MADE CONTACT WITH THE RESIDENT, WHO WAS OKAY, AND DECLINED ANY AND ALL POLICE SERVICES.
