vehicles had minor damage with no injuries reported on scene. One of the
drivers did not have a driver’s license, therefore the vehicle was impounded
and the driver was issued several citations. REPORT WRITTEN
0800 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr. /
Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in the building hallways,
laundry rooms, front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.
0845 hrs., Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.
0915 hrs., Business check/ Lowe's (Foot Patrol), check clear.
1000 hrs., Business check/ Metro Points Complex, check clear.
1040 hrs., Business check/ Carrollton Enterprise, check

1115 hrs., 5300 block 85th
Ave/ Family Dispute, several members of the family were arguing and fighting
over the female half shutting the male half's cell phone off. The male
half then decided to take the wheels off of his own vehicle so the female could
not drive it. The adult son then got upset and he and the male half began
to fight. They are not related by blood or marriage and Officers did not
observe any altercation when they arrived on scene. All parties were
uncooperative in explaining who took what action and who was injured.
Officers advised all parties.

1220 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th
Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in the building
hallways, laundry rooms, front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.
1250 hrs., Station call/ Found
Property, an individual came to the station and turned in a wallet with identification
inside. There is information on where the wallet was located but Officers
made an attempt to contact the place of employment for the owner with negative
results. Officers placed the wallet into property for safekeeping and
notification was made to the owner’s employment.

1325 hrs., Annapolis Rd and
Riverdale Rd/ Accident, minor damage to all three vehicles and no injuries
reported on scene by any parties. Information was exchanged by Officers
on scene to all parties.
1340 hrs., Shoppers/
Shoplifter, store loss prevention had a female in custody for shoplifting who
was also previously banned from that location. Officers ran her
information and discovered she had an outstanding warrant through Prince
George's County Sheriff's Department. She was transported to Department
of Corrections and issued citation.

1451 hrs., Shoppers/
Suspicious person, loss prevention stopped a male at the door for stealing
candy. Officers assisted Loss Prevention due to the male becoming
disorderly, Officers got him to calm down and issued him a citation and
released him.

1733 hrs., 8300 block
Carrollton Pkwy/ Suicidal Subject, the caller stated a female called her and
she believed she was suicidal. When Officers arrived on scene they spoke
to the female who advised she called because she wanted to check herself into a
mental facility but was not feeling suicidal today. Officers confirmed
with her she was stable and did not need emergency help now.
1840 Child Custody/ 5300 block 85th Ave /
mother requested officer’s assistance in retrieving her children from her ex.
The children were reunited without incident.
1930 Premise Check/ Plaza 30 area was clear
2010 Premise Check/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / area was
clear
2032 Disorderly/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd / A subject from
previous encounters was observed panhandling. Part time officer trespassed
subject from Plaza 30. REPORT WRITTEN
2230 Premise Check/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd / business as
usual, no issues observed
2247 Citizen Robbery/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd / the victim
exited the store entering their vehicle and was stopped by S-1 B/M masked
(implied weapon) demanded her purse and cellphone. The suspect entered a White
Chevy Impala with a female suspect fleeing Riverdale Rd toward Riverdale. PGPD
RST responded and NC4 was notified. REPORT WRITTEN
2334 Check Welfare/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd / male in a
trench coat on the ground. Upon arrival the male was walking away from the
store. The male subject stated he was having chest pains. EMS responded and
transported the male subject to Doctors Hosp.

for the evening

0213 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd / area was clear
0340 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd / business as

0520 Abuse/ 7600 block Fontainebleau Dr. / the
complainant heard a female screaming at a baby. The complainant could not
identify the problem unit. Officers knocked on doors with negative
results
0538 Domestic/ 7500 block Riverdale Rd / male and female
outside arguing. Officer’s checked the building and canvassed he area with
negative results
