0700 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0745 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / Stolen Vehicle, caller stated they woke up this morning and their vehicle was not where they parked it last night.  Officers located the vehicle as being towed by the tow company for the property for a violation.  Caller was advised.

0753 hrs., 7800 block Riverdale Rd/ Hit and Run, caller stated his vehicle was hit and damaged.  Officers arrived on scene and the caller and the person that struck the vehicle were already talking and exchanging information.  Caller stated they did not need our assistance, they were coming to an agreement on their own.

0816 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr. / Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in the building hallways, laundry rooms, front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

0850 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in the building hallways, laundry rooms, front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

0925 hrs., School check/ Carrollton Elementary School, check clear.

1000 hrs., Business check/ Metro Points Hotel, check clear.

1109 hrs., TD Bank/ Fraud, caller stated her card was lost and someone used it at several locations.  She claimed she was over $700.00 over in funds.  When Officers arrived the caller was approached by bank personnel who advised her they could assist her and she did not need the assistance of the Police.  This dispute was handled by the bank employees.

1150 hrs., 6400 block 85th Pl. / Hit and Run, caller claims her neighbor struck her vehicle then left the scene. Caller followed the vehicle to the 7500 Block of Topton St were a dispute occurred.  Officers arrived and while gathering information discovered the driver of the striking vehicle did not have a license.  An ACRS report was written and several citations were issued. REPORT WRITTEN

1218 hrs., 7500 Block of Topton St/ While Officers were dealing with the traffic accident when they observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed down the roadway towards them.  Officers conducted a traffic stop and found several violations with the driver.  Citations were issued and the vehicle was impounded. REPORT WRITTEN

1304 hrs., 8200 block Quentin St/ Notification of found property.  Officers notified the owner of a wallet located by Greenbelt Police.  The owner was notified and en-route to pick up the wallet from them.

1322 hrs., 8000 block Powhatan St/ Information call, caller stated that he observed items on the purchase site of "Let Go" and he felt the items may have been stolen. The caller never purchased the items and therefore was not out any money.  He stated he wanted us to know and see what he could do, he was advised to contact the site and advise them.

1415 hrs., Station call/ Vehicle release, caller wanted a vehicle release from Officers for a vehicle that was impounded.  Officers gathered the information and fees and released the vehicle.

1445 hrs., Business check/ Carrollton Enterprise, check clear. 

1515 hrs., Station call/ Vehicle release, caller advised she had a vehicle impounded by this department.  Upon further investigation of the information it was discovered it was impounded by Prince George's County Police (David Sector).  She was advised.

1545 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

1610 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in the building hallways, laundry rooms, front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

1640 hrs., Business check/ CVS Pharmacy, check clear.

1723 hrs., 8500 block Sprague Pl/ Family Dispute, caller stated his Mother and Brother are arguing.  Caller stated his brother got mad at his mother and began to yell and threw his coat on the ground.  At this time there was no other concern from the brother and Officers observed the family all laughing and having a meal together.  Caller was advised on what action he can take.

1840 Premise Check/ 8100 block Gavin St area was clear

1925 Premise Check/85th Ave Apts. / area was clear

2020 Premise Check/ 6200 block Westbrook Dr. / area was clear

2128 Check Welfare/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd / elderly male lost driving on the wrong side of the road. 

2157 Suspicious Person/ 8300 block Verona Dr. / male walking back and forth between vehicles. Area was canvassed with negative results 

2257 Disorderly/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / subject was sleeping on the floor. The subject was sent on the way

2312 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd / business as usual, no issues reported 

2346 Family Dispute Arrest/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr.  - the arrested assaulted his uncle who was suffering chest pains. While investigating, the arrested became disorderly causing a scene and was detained. The arrested was transported to UM DOC for presentation of charges. REPORT WRITTEN

0032 Check Welfare/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd / elderly male locked out his vehicle. The fire dept. responded and opened his door. While speaking with him, he advised S-1 stole room his key and attempted to steal his vehicle. V-1 was provided case numbers. REPORT WRITTEN

Due to V-1 being elderly, officers assisted V-1 to 95. V-1 was lethargic and not comprehending properly. V-1 was checked for warrants/missing with negative results. V-1 was placed at the Holiday Inn in Greenbelt for the evening

0400 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. / area was clear

0515 Premise Check/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd no issues reported

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. 0645 Hours -Premise Check- 8400 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0722 Hours -Premise Check- 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0813 Hours -Vandalism- 7900 Block of Legation Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for the vandalism of a vehicle. Officers spoke with the caller who stated his vehicle had been broken into. Officers gathered all information needed and generated a report.  Report Written 1028 Hours -Disorderly- 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for a disorderly male.
