0645 hrs., Premise check/ 7-11, check clear.

 

0705 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Check on Welfare, male called stated he was possibly assaulted by a friend who asked him to come up and visit.  Officers gathered information and made notification to Prince George's County Sex Crimes detectives.  Officers transported the victim to the detective bureau where all information was turned over to them for further investigation.  Upon further investigation the Detectives determined no assault occurred, the male was under the influence of an unknown substance he willingly took.  Notification was made to NC3.  Report written

1000 hrs., Premise check/ Shops at New Carrollton, check clear.

 

1018 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr/ Check on Welfare, caller was attempting to check on the welfare of his daughter living at the residence with her mother.  Caller stated that the family has had Covid but the ex-girlfriend was refusing to give him their daughter as per the court order.  Officers were able to make contact with the ex-girlfriend who stated there is a protective order in place and the daughter is in her temporary custody until the hearing.  Both were in good health and advised of the call.  Officers then spoke to the caller and advised his daughter was in good condition, he then wanted us to get the daughter and give her to him, he was advised.  (Civil Matter) No Report.

 

1045 hrs., 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr/ Suspicious vehicle unoccupied, while on patrol officers observed a vehicle with the window down.  Officers made all attempts to locate the owner and advised them of the window, but the address was out of state.  No Report.

 

1115 hrs., Premise check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr, check clear.

 

1150 hrs., Premise check/ Heritage Square Apartments, check clear.

 

1205 hrs. 5800 block Lamont Dr/ Notification, officers were called by an agency in another state to check a residence for a person they needed to speak to involving an investigation in the callers jurisdiction.  Officers made several attempts to locate the individual, but there was no response at the door.  Officers called the caller and advised him of the negative results.  No Report.

 

1230 hrs., School check/ Charles Carroll Middle School, check clear.

 

1305 hrs., School check/ Lamont Elementary School, check clear.

 

1340 hrs., Premise Check/ Shops at New Carrollton, check clear.

1540 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Check on Welfare, caller stated he was in front of the building and saw 20-30 plain clothes officers filming him and the area.  Officers arrived and did not see anyone in or around the area.  Officers spoke to the caller who stated his friend told him they were there and he was afraid to leave.  He asked for uniformed officers so he could leave the area and head back home.  We advised him there was no one in the area and he was free to leave.  No Report.

1808 hrs. Suspicious Person 8100 block Powhatan St. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for an elderly woman walking around and trying to open up doors. When officers arrived at the location, the individual was gone. Officers canvassed the area with negative results. No report

2059 hrs. Suspicious Person 8400 block Annapolis Rd. Officers were on routine patrol when they observed an individual panhandling and loitering in front of the listed location. Officers stopped and identified the male subject and sent him on his way. Report written

2343 hrs. Suspicious Person 8400 block Annapolis Rd. Officers were on routine patrol when they observed an individual without a mask who became belligerent when asked to put his mask on. The individual was then stopped and identified and then sent on his way without further incident. No report

Both parties were spoken to, the male half left the location to go to work and the female half was provided information on how to obtain a protective/peace order. Report written

 

0535 hrs. Disorderly 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a disorderly. The caller stated her neighbor above was causing noise throughout the night, even after being served a peace order. Officers attempted to make contact with the neighbor with negative results. The caller was advised to notify the court during her final hearing later on in the day. No report.
