0815 - 0930 hrs., 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave/ Vehicle Impound and several parking citations issued to vehicles parked illegally on the roadway.  Report written

1000 hrs., Premise check/ Shops at New Carrollton, check clear.

 

1018 hrs., 5900 block Mentana St/ Missing Person, caller was the mother of the juvenile missing.  Caller stated she noticed her missing around 2030 hours last night, but she left the door open so she assumed she was coming back home.  Caller got up this morning and after several hours realized the juvenile was not home so she called to report her missing.  Missing Persons were called and they stated the child was not critical missing due to her chronic running away.  NC3 was notified of the incident.  Report written

 

1140 hrs., 5200 Block 85th Ave/ Unknown trouble, call taker could hear a woman on the phone crying and saying she did not charge anything.  While officers were enroute they were cancelled due to Communications speaking to the caller who stated that the issue was not a police matter and she did not mean to call the police.  No Report.

 

1200 hrs., Premise check/ Station and Substation, check clear.

 

1235 hrs., Premise check/ Good Luck Park, check clear.

 

1305 hrs., Premise check/ Station and Substation, check clear.

 

1328 hrs., 7800 Block Riverdale Rd/ Breaking and Entering, caller stated someone broke his window and may have gone inside.  When officers arrived the caller stated he checked the apartment but did not see anything missing at this time.  When officers arrived we started to check the area with the damaged window and moved to other rooms.  When officers checked the one room and the closet they observed a male hiding underneath a coat in the corner.  The caller stated he did not know the male so he was placed into custody.  Notification was made to NC3.  Report written

 

1440 hrs., Shoppers/ Dispute, caller stated a male was yelling at him about entering through the exit door.  The caller stated he and the male got into a verbal argument then the male put his finger in his face.  Officers walked through the store in an attempt to locate the male but were unsuccessful.  Officers asked what we could do for the male and he stated he just wanted us to come into the store with him and shop in case the male was inside.  He was advised of several other options.  He refused any further assistance.  No Report.

 

1515 hrs., Metro Points Hotel/ Disorderly, caller was a hotel employee who stated  a guest attempted to pay for an additional room in cash but they do not accept cash.   The caller stated the guest became upset and at this time they did not want to extend her stay.  Officers went to the room and there was no answer.  When we went back to the lobby the female was walking in to pay with a card but the staff advised her she had to leave and they were not extending her stay.  The female left to go pack her items (with no issues at this time).  No Report.

2224 hrs. Domestic Dispute 7700 Block Riverdale Rd. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for an argument between roommates. Upon arrival, officers spoke with both parties who stated that the incident was only verbal and that the male half was going to leave until they both calmed down. No report. 

 

2332 hrs. Assist Fireboard 7500 Block Riverdale Rd. Officers were dispatched to the listed location to assist the fire department with an entry forced entry to an apartment unit they may have food burning on the stove. Upon arrival, it was determined that officers were no longer needed at the scene. No report.
