0844 hrs., 6800 block Oland St/ Check on the Welfare, caller stated someone else used to be her and began to mumble on the phone.  Officers spoke to the caretaker at the location who stated there were no issues in the residence and she did not know about the phone call.  No Report.

 

0905 hrs., Premise check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr, check clear.

 

0923 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr/ Suspicious vehicles, officers observed vehicles with violations.  One vehicle had a pick up order for the registration and the other was not displaying any registration.  Both vehicles were impounded.  Reports written

 

1029 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine/ Disorderly, caller stated there was someone banging at their door.  Officers arrived and were unable to locate anyone in the hall or the caller due to the cell phones having no call back.  No Report.

 

1056 hrs. 8400 block Annapolis Rd/ Assist Fireboard with a vehicle fire, they advised there were two vehicles on fire in front of the business.  Officers arrived and the fire was extinguished, however the vehicles needed to be impounded.  There were no injuries as a result of the fire.  It appears as though one vehicle had mechanical problems and as a result caught on fire.  Report written

1339 hrs., 8300 block Annapolis Rd/ Domestic, caller stated she and her boyfriend were in a verbal argument and he kicked her luggage.  Officers arrived and the caller became argumentative and refused services from the Police.  Caller refused to cooperate and give police any information on the incident.  No Report.

 

1415 hrs., School check/ Carrollton Elementary School, check clear.

 

1450 hrs., Premise check/ Beckett Field and the Hanko Building, check clear.

 

1510 hrs., 8000 block Annapolis Rd/ Check on welfare, caller stated they believed there was a body inside of a blue sleeping bag by the fence.  Officers arrived and located the sleeping bag.  The bag was checked and there were only a few bags of personal items underneath it.  No Report 

 

1545 hrs., School check/ Robert Frost Elementary School, check clear.

 

1615 hrs., Premise check/ Shops at New Carrollton, check clear.

 

1704 hrs. 5900 block Westbrook Terr/ Civil Matter, officers were flagged down by a male who stated his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend was refusing to give her the key to her car.  Officers finally were able to get assistance with the translation and found out that the parties were there to get the spare key and the vehicle.  When it was all done the female had the key to the vehicle and drove it away when officers left so the issue was resolved at the time.  Civil Matter resolved all parties were advised, No Report.

2050 hrs. Check Welfare/ Lamont Dr. and Riverdale Rd. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a check welfare call on a female walking down the road and then getting into a vehicle as a passenger. Officers searched the surrounding area with negative results. No report. 

 

2147 hrs. 911 Hang-up Call/ 6600 block Chestnut Ave. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a 911 hang-up call. Upon arrival, officers knocked on the door and spoke with the homeowner who advised that the call was accidental. No report.   

 

2240 hrs. Disorderly/Emergency Petition 8400 block Nicholson St. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a disorderly. Upon arrival, officers observed an individual having a manic episode. EMS was contacted and transported the individual to a local hospital per the power of attorney request. No report. 

 

0050 hrs. Assist Motorist 8000 block Annapolis Rd. While on routine patrol, officers observed a stranded motorist. Officers were able to help push the vehicle to the parking lot at the listed address for the individual to obtain his own tow. No report. 

 

0101 hrs. 7600 block Fontainebleau Dr. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for an individual sitting in the stairwell with CDS. Upon arrival at the location, officers observed an individual in the stairwell who was trying to stay out of the cold. Officers advised the individual that they could not sit in the stairwell and that they needed to leave. The individual left without incident. No report.

 

0113 hrs. Suicidal Individual/Emergency Petition Service 8600 block Fremont St. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for an individual attempting suicide. Upon arrival at the location, officers were able to get to the individual and call for EMS services to transport the individual to a local hospital for an emergency petition. Report written
