0645 hrs., Premise check/ 7-11, check clear.

 

0723 hrs., 6500 block Lamont Dr/ Assist Fireboard, fireboard called to assist with an elderly male that was deceased.  Paramedics on scene stated the male appears to have passed due to natural causes sometime during the night.  Officers made notification to PG Homicide Detectives, Medical Examiner, and NC2.  Family made arrangements with the funeral home for transport of the deceased.  Report written

 

1050 hrs., 5400 block 85th Ave/ Fraud, caller stated at the beginning of the month she had a suspicious charge to her bank card.  Caller stated the bank replaced the money in her account and replaced her card already.  Caller stated the bank was investigating the charge but she did not know if she needed to file a report with us.  She was advised.  No Report.

1200 hrs., 5300 Block of 85th Ave/ Parking Ticket issued, no further incident.

1445 hrs., 8300 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Assist Prince George's County Police with a Suspicious Person stop.  County Police were out with an individual they wanted to identify for an investigation.  Our Units were in the area and assisted.  No Report.

 

1525 hrs., Premise check/ Shops at New Carrollton, check clear.

 

1545 hrs., Annapolis Rd at Riverdale Rd/ Vehicle Accident, caller stated they were in a minor vehicle accident in this area.  Officers checked and were unable to locate them.  Officers contacted the caller and obtained a better location of East West Hwy and Kenilworth Ave.  The call was given to Riverdale Police to handle.  No Report.

 

1600 hrs., Shoppers Food/ Theft, caller was store Loss Prevention who had a subject in custody for theft of several items.  Officers arrived and were able to identify the male, all of the items were returned to the store and he was issued a citation in lieu of arrest for theft.  Report written

 

1650 hrs., Premise Check/ Beckett Field and Hanko Building, check clear.

 

1723 hrs., CVS Pharmacy/ Threats complaint, caller was the nurse who stated someone upset with not being able to receive a COVID test was banging on her door at the kiosk.  Officers arrived and the female was upset because the nurse told her she would not give her the test due to her being late for her appointment.  The female wanted us to tell her to give her the test anyway.  She was advised and sent on her way.  No Report.

1822 hrs. Premise Check 6200 block of Westbrook Dr. Check clear

1903 hrs. Suspicious Person 7700 block Riverdale Rd. Officers received a station call to the listed location for a known suspicious person at the store. Upon the officer's arrival at the location, the suspect was gone. Officers canvassed the area with negative results. No report.

2327 hrs. Suspicious Person/Trespassing 8400 block Annapolis Rd. While officers were on routine patrol, they observed a known individual at the listed location. The subject had previously been found loitering and panhandling and advised not to do so. Officers made contact with the individual, checked for warrants, and issued criminal trespassing citation and barred him from the location. Report written

2340 hrs. Verbal Domestic Incident 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a domestic incident. Upon arrival, officers spoke with both parties who advised that it was strictly a verbal incident and nothing physical occurred. The female half advised she would leave for the night to cool down. No report.

0115 hrs. Commercial Burglary Alarm 8400 block Annapolis Rd. Officers were dispatched to the listed location for a commercial burglary alarm. Upon arrival, officers checked the location, which showed no signs of any entrance. Officers canvassed the surrounding area for any signs of tampering with negative results. No report.
