0644 HOURS - STOLEN AUTO- 6400 BLOCK INLET ST.- CALLER STATED HE STARTED HIS VEHICLE  AND RAN BACK INTO HIS RESIDENCE. THE CALLER THEN STATED WHEN HE RETURNED HE DISCOVERED AN UNKNOWN SUSPECT HAD STOLEN HIS VEHICLE. THE CALLER WAS ISSUED A CITATION FOR LEAVING THE VEHICLE UNATTENDED. PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY POLICE TELECOMMUNICATIONS WAS CONTACTED AND ENTERED THE VEHICLE IN NCIC AS STOLEN. REPORT WRITTEN

0704 HOURS - PREMISE CHECK – 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD. - ALL CLEAR.

0819 HOURS - PREMISE CHECK – 7700 BLOCK RIVERDALE RD. - ALL CLEAR.

0922 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK - 5500 BLOCK OF KAREN ELAINE DR. - ALL CLEAR.

1037 HOURS - PREMISE CHECK – 8200 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD. - ALL CLEAR.

1115 HOURS- FRAUD ATTEMPT- 8300 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.- THE CALLER STATED SHE HAD RECEIVED A CALL FROM A BANKING INSTITUTION STATING AN UNKNOWN SUSPECT HAD FRAUDULENTLY PURCHASED FURNITURE FROM THE STORE. AT THIS TIME AN UNKNOWN MALE SUBJECT ARRIVED TO THE STORE TO PICKUP THE FURNITURE. THE STORE MANAGER EXPLAINED THAT THE FURNITURE WAS NO LONGER RELEASABLE. THE MALE SUBJECT BECAME UPSET AND FLED THE STORE IN A UNKNOWN VEHICLE MAKING GOOD ON HIS ESCAPE. REPORT WRITTEN

1201 HOURS - PREMISE CHECK - 5200 - 5400 BLOCK OF 85TH AVE. - ALL CLEAR.

1213 HOURS -TRAFFIC/IMPOUND - 8400 BLOCK OF ANNAPOLIS RD. -  OFFICERS OBSERVED A VEHICLE COMMIT A TRAFFIC VIOLATION. A TRAFFIC STOP WAS CONDUCTED, DURING THE STOP IT WAS DISCOVERED THE VEHICLES REGISTRATION WAS SUSPENDED FOR VEIP. THE VEHICLE WAS IMPOUNDED FOR SAFEKEEPING TO PREVENT ANY ROAD HAZARDS.

1311 HOURS - SUSPICIOUS PERSON – 8300 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  THE CALLER STATED A MALE SUBJECT WAS PULLING ON THE DOOR ATTEMPTING TO GAIN ENTRY INTO THE PHARMACY. OFFICERS MADE CONTACT WITH THE MALE SUBJECT WHO WAS ATTEMPTING TO PICK UP HIS MOTHERS PRESCRIPTION, BUT WHEN HE PULLED THE DOOR HE FOUND IT TO BE LOCKED. THE MALE SUBJECT STATED HE BEGAN TO KNOCK ON THE GLASS TO GAIN THE ATTENTION OF THE EMPLOYEE'S. THE PHARMACIST THEN OPENED THE DOOR TO ALLOW THE MALE SUBJECT IN TO PICK UP HIS MOTHERS PRESCRIPTION.    

1402 0855 HOURS -TRAFFIC/IMPOUND - 8900 BLOCK OF ANNAPOLIS RD.-  OFFICER OBSERVED A VEHICLE COMMIT A TRAFFIC VIOLATION. A TRAFFIC STOP WAS CONDUCTED, DURING THE STOP IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE VEHICLE REGISTRATION WAS SUSPENDED FOR VEIP. THE VEHICLE WAS IMPOUNDED FOR SAFEKEEPING TO PREVENT ANY ROAD HAZARDS.

1452 HOURS - THEFT - 8500 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.- OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LISTED LOCATION FOR A THEFT. UPON OFFICERS ARRIVAL, CONTACT WAS MADE WITH THE FRONT DESK SUPERVISOR WHO STATED A GUEST HAD REACHED OVER THE DESK AND STOLE  U.S. CURRENCY.  THE DESK SUPERVISOR STATED HE REVIEWED THE VIDEO SURVEILLANCE FILM AND WAS ABLE TO IDENTIFY THE SUSPECT AS A GUEST OF THE HOTEL. OFFICERS THEN RESPONDED TO THE ROOM OF THE GUEST. THE GUEST STATED SHE NEVER REACHED OVER THE DESK AND STOLE HOTEL FUNDS. OFFICERS ADVISED THE GUEST THAT THE VIDEO HAD BEEN REVIEWED SHOWING HER TAKING THE FUNDS. AT THIS TIME THE GUEST RETURNED THE MONEY AND WAS PLACED UNDER ARREST. THE FEMALE GUEST WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS FOR PRESENTATION OF CHARGES.

1522 HOURS - PREMISE CHECK – 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD. - ALL CLEAR. 

1624 HOURS- DUI ACCIDENT -6000 BLOCK WESTBROOK DR.- OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LISTED LOCATION FOR A HIT & RUN. OFFICERS ARRIVED ON SCENE AND OBSERVED THREE VEHICLES WITH MAJOR DAMAGE. AT THIS TIME WITNESSES STATED THE STRIKING VEHICLE WAS AROUND THE CORNER PARKED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROADWAY. OFFICERS MADE CONTACT WITH THE DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE WHO WAS HEAVILY INTOXICATED. THE DRIVER WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY AND ISSUED SEVERAL MARYLAND TRAFFIC CITATIONS. TWO VEHICLES FROM THE INCIDENT WERE DISABLED IN THE ROADWAY AND WERE IMPOUNDED FOR SAFEKEEPING TO PREVENT ANY ROAD HAZARDS. REPORT WRITTEN

1915 Stolen Auto/ 5900 block 85th Ave / the vehicle was impounded for tag pick up order earlier by officers. The complainant was advised of the earlier incident.

1945 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd / the area was clear and there were no issues reported by store employees.

2012 Assist/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd / elderly male approached the officer at the above location advising he was lost. The officer assisted the elderly male.

2230 Premise Check/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd / the grounds was clear and business as usual. 

2310 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd / the area was clear, no issues reported by store personnel

0020 Premise Check/ 6400 block Lamont Dr. / the area was clear.

0115 Assist/ 76th @ Hendricks / PGPD responded to the area for a male breaking into vehicles. Once on scene officers gave chase and made an apprehension. 

0200 Premise Check/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd / the parking lot was clear, no issues reported by personnel

0300 Premise Check/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / the area was clear

0430 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd / the area was clear

  0630 hrs., Premise check/ Shoppers Food (Foot Patrol), check clear.   0645 hrs., Premise check/ Lowe's, check clear.   0700 hrs., 8000 block Powhattan St/ Suspicious persons, caller stated there was a person sleeping inside of a vehicle parked in front of their residence.  Officers located the vehicle and the persons inside sleeping.  Officers checked the individuals and the vehicle and observed nothing illegal at this time.  The individuals were advised and sent on their way.  Report written   0745 hrs., Premise check/ 7-11, check clear.   0821 hrs., 7600 block Fountainbleau Dr/ 911 Hang-up, communications stated there was a call from this address but prior to getting any information the phone hung up.  On callback communications stated there was no answer, only a prerecorded message.  Officers checked the rental office and it was locked and secure with no one inside.  No Report.   0847 hrs., 86...
