0840 hrs., 5400 block 85th Ave/ Disorderly, caller stated there was a naked male sitting in the back of the building.  Officers located the male, completely naked, and acting out of it.  Officers made several attempts to talk to him and he refused to speak.  Officers asked if he needed medical attention and he refused.  The male's information was finally gathered and run through communications, the information came back with 2 open warrants through Prince George's County Sheriff's Office.  The male was taken into custody and transported to the jail for service of the warrants.  Report written

 

1050 hrs., 8300 block Annapolis Rd/ Theft, caller stated she was advised by her company's IT department to report a laptop that was stolen. The caller stated she last saw her laptop at work on Friday June 11, secured in her office but when she came in on Monday June 14th it was missing.  She made the report to her IT department who advised her to contact us to report it.  Report written

 

1115 hrs., Station call/ Gas leak at the City Hall building, while inside officers and staff noticed the smell of gas within the building.  Fireboard was called and officers evacuated the building for safety reasons.  Washington gas was notified and responded, they eventually cleared the building to have people return safely.  No Report.

 

1152 hrs., 8400 block Annapolis Rd/ Vehicle accident, caller stated there was a vehicle accident in the parking lot.  Officers arrived and located the vehicles, both had minor damage and neither party claimed injury.  Information was exchanged on scene.  No Report.

 

1209 hrs., 7500 block Riverdale Rd/ Domestic, caller was screaming on the phone her boyfriend was violating an active protective order.  Officers arrived on scene and heard the female screaming and officers entered the building to find her running after  the male half in the hallway.  Both parties were questioned and one protective order was expired and the other showed it was not violated per their actions.  Report written

 

1225 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr/ Disorderly, caller was anonymous and stated a male was throwing what appeared to be a chair at the rear window of an apartment in this building.  Caller then stated the window was shattered.  Officers arrived on scene and were unable to locate a male matching the description given and all the windows were checked and none appeared to be broken.  Due to the officers having no way to call the witness no more details were able to be gathered to find property damage or a victim.  No Report.

1730 hrs., 5400 Block of 85th Ave/ Parking Complaint, caller stated there was a vehicle blocking the bus stop.  Officers checked there was no vehicle in the area.  No Report.

 

1831 HOURS-Check Welfare-8400 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a male who was having a mental breakdown with his caregiver. Officers met with both the male in question and the caregiver. The male stated he just wanted to go home. The caregiver was able to place the male in the car and take him home. NO REPORT

 

1853 HOURS-Premise Check-8400 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers conducted a check of this location for any issues. NO REPORT

 

1956 HOURS-Fraud-7600 block Fontainebleau Dr.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a fraud. It was found that the caller made an order with a website and did not get the items they ordered. The caller was advised to contact the website to get a replacement. NO REPORT

 

2011 HOURS-Domestic-7600 block Fontainebleau Dr.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a domestic dispute. Officers spoke with both parties who stated they were involved in a dispute regarding events that took place while the female half was overseas. Officers gathered all of the necessary information and advised both parties to seek further assistance through the court commissioner. REPORT WRITTEN

 

2027 HOURS-Civil Dispute-5400 block 85th Ave.- Officers responded to this location for a dispute regarding property. Officers spoke with both parties and advised that due to the issue being a civil matter, assistance would have to be sought out through the civil courts. NO REPORT

 

2041 HOURS-Disorderly-8400 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a customer dispute. Officers met with the manager who stated a female came into the establishment and did not pay for her services. The manager wished to have the female barred from the establishment; however, the female left prior to officer's arrival. NO REPORT

 

2137 HOURS-Premise Check-8500 block Annapolis Rd.-Officers conducted a check of this location for any issues. NO REPORT

 

2206 HOURS-EPS-8500 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a male walking in and out of traffic and jumping on vehicles. Officers were able to make contact with the male and after observing his actions determined he was a hazard to himself and others. The male was transported to a local hospital for an emergency petition. REPORT WRITTEN

 

2240 HOURS-Stolen Vehicle-85th Ave @ Annapolis Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a stolen vehicle. Prior to officers' arrival, the caller called back and stated the vehicle was not stolen and his mother was the person in possession of the vehicle. NO REPORT

 

2331 HOURS-Premise Check-7400 block Riverdale Rd.-Officers conducted a check of this location for any issues. NO REPORT

 

0031 HOURS-Domestic-7600 block Fontainebleau Dr.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a male attempting to get into his girlfriend's residence. Prior to officers' arrival, the caller attempted to cancel the call stating that the boyfriend left. Officers continued in; however, found no signs of the boyfriend or sounds of distress. NO REPORT

 

0036 HOURS-Disorderly-8600 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a group of juvenile males in the laundry room. It was found that the males in question were not juveniles and lived on property. The males were advised that the laundry room was closed and to go back into their residence. NO REPORT

 

0040 HOURS-Suspicious Occupied Vehicle-8500 block Legation Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a report of an occupied vehicle parked at this location. It was found that two males were sitting in the vehicle talking and eating. The males were advised that the park was closed and could not be parked there. The males were sent on their way. NO REPORT

 

0121 HOURS-Premise Check-6500 block Jodie St.- Officers conducted a check of this area for any criminal activity. NO REPORT

 

0140 HOURS-Suspicious Person-7700 block Riverdale Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a tow dispute. While on scene one of the subjects in question became disorderly and was detained momentarily. The person was identified and released without further incident. REPORT WRITTEN

 

0249 HOURS-Disorderly-8500 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a guest smoking in their room. Officers met with the on duty manager who stated the guests of the room left for a while and needed confirmation of the smoking. Officers checked the room and found that the guests were no longer there. Management was advised. NO REPORT

 

0305 HOURS-Domestic Assault-5200 block 85th Ave.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a domestic dispute. Officers once on scene found that the male half was assaulted by the female half prior to officers' arrival. The female was placed under arrest for assault and transported to the Department of Corrections. NC3 was notified of this incident. REPORT WRITTEN

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company.
