0815 Hours-Premise Check- 8500 block Annapolis - Business as usual 

 

0900 Hours -Premise Check- 5400 block of 85th Ave. checked clear.

 

1000 Hours- Premise Check- 8400 block Annapolis Rd.- Business as usual 

 

1100 Hours- Premise Check-7400 block Riverdale Rd. Checked clear

 

1144 Hours- CHECK WELFARE- 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. - Officers responded. Caller advised he hadn’t spoken to his cousin in two weeks. Officers checked the exterior of the unit and found the patio door to be unlocked. Officers discovered an older male on the floor in the living room deceased from a parent natural causes. NC 4 notified. REPORT WRITTEN

 

1200Hours- TOW DISPUTE- 5200 block 85th Ave.- Caller canceled call prior to police arrival.

 

1240 Hours- HIT AND RUN- Officers responded. Caller advised her vehicle was struck during the night’s hours. Caller advised she believed the vehicle in her neighbor’s driveway was the striking vehicle. Officers spoke with the neighbor who advised she did know who the vehicle belonged to or why it was in her driveway. Officers discovered the alleged striking vehicle had a pickup order on the registration plates. The vehicle was impounded. REPORT WRITTEN

 

1405 Hours- ACCIDENT- Annapolis Rd./85th Ave.- Officers responded. Two drivers had a minor accident. Officers assisted with the information exchange. NO REPORT

 

1530 Hours- Premise Check-5300 block of 85th Ave. Checked clear

 

1645 Hours-Premise Check- Lamont Elementary -all clear.

 

1750 Hours- CHECK WELFARE-5500 block Karen Elaine Dr.- Officers did not respond. Caller advised her 13-year-old stinks and she wanted officers to talk to him. Not a police matter. NO REPORT


1845 hrs., Premise Check/ 7-11, check clear.

 

1914 hrs., 8200 block Quentin St/ Family Dispute, caller stated both families were arguing over getting the female halves items out of the residence.  The residents advised her she could get the items, however her step mother began to get upset and they did not want her there anymore.  Both parties were advised of what actions they could take.  Prior to officers leaving they were all civil and decided to talk about the rest of the items inside and a vehicle.  No Report (Civil Matter)

2250 hrs., 5544 Karen Elaine Dr/ Loud talking, caller stated there was loud talking coming from an apartment in this building.  Officers were unable to locate the source of the loud talking.  No Report.

 

2315 hrs., Premise Check/ 5300-5400 Blk of 85th Ave, check clear.

 

2345 hrs., Premise Check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

 

0010 hrs., Premise Check/ Shops at New Carrollton, check clear.

 

0036 hrs., 7700 Arehart Dr/ Suspicious Vehicle, caller stated there was a dark colored vehicle circling the area for the last couple minutes.  Officers checked the area with nothing found.  No Report.

 

0100 hrs., Premise Check/ Heritage Square Apartments, check clear.

 

0121 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Recovered stolen vehicle, caller stated there was a vehicle that crashed into several other vehicles in the area.  Caller stated it was several juveniles and they then got into another silver car and fled the area.  Communications advised the caller had video, however when we asked them to contact them back to step outside to watch the video they were unable to get in contact with them.  Officers ran the information for the vehicles involved and discovered that the vehicle that caused the damage was stolen out of Virginia.  Officers made attempts to contact the owners of both damaged vehicles but were unable to get them to answer their doors.  Information was left on all vehicles for contact for report purposes and the stolen vehicle was taken out of NCIC and impounded for safekeeping.  Report written
