0735Hours-PREMISE CHECK-7700 block of Riverdale Rd. - All clear nothing to report. 

 0830 Hours -PREMISE CHECK- 5200 block 85th Ave.-Business as usual 

0900 Hours -PREMISE CHECK- 5300 block of 85th Ave.- All clear nothing to report 

1145 Hours- PREMISE CHECK- Lamont Elementary- All clear

1245Hours- PREMISE CHECK- 8500 block Annapolis Rd.- Business as usual.

1345 Hours- PREMISE CHECK- 7500 block Goodluck Rd.- All clear

1430 Hours- LOCKOUT- 7500 block Riverdale Rd.- Officers responded. Caller advised the accidentally locked their keys in the vehicle. However, the callers one-month old was in the vehicle. PG Fire Department responded to open the car. The child was ok. NO REPORT

1530 Hours- PROPERTY DAMAGE-7700 block Riverdale Rd.- Officers responded. Caller advised when he came out of the store he noticed damage to his vehicle. REPORT WRITTEN

1550 Hours- HIT N RUN- 8200 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers responded. Caller advised while in Annapolis Road his vehicle was struck by another vehicle. The striking vehicle failed to stop and provide their information. There was minor damage to the caller’s vehicle. Report written

1620 Hours-7700 block Riverdale Rd.- ATTEMPT CITIZEN ROBBERY- Officer responded. Caller advised a male was being held down by workers after he attacked a women and attempted to take her money. The victim had minor injuries. Officers were able to take the male into custody. REPORT WRITTEN

1800 hrs., Lowes/ Assist Day-work with the disorderly male call they had prior to our arrival at work.  No Report.

 

1830 hrs., 5700 block Harland St/ Suspicious Person, caller stated there was a male walking a pit-bull and they did not live in the area.  Officers checked the area and located a female walking two dogs and she lived in the general area of the call.  No Report.

 

1908 hrs., 5400 block 85th Ave/ Disorderly person, caller stated there were several males sitting in the area smoking CDS and drinking alcohol.  Officers checked the area and again the males sitting there lived in the building and there was no sign of CDS or alcoholic beverages.  No Report.

 

1920 hrs., Station Call at the Station/ Possibly locate a female, the caller was from Greenbelt Police Department.  The dispatcher stated a female victim of a crime advised them she would be going to our police station, not theirs, to report a crime.  Officers checked our station and surrounding area and no female was located.  Greenbelt Police were advised.  No Report.

 

1935 hrs., 8300 block Larchwood St/ Loud Music, caller stated there was loud music coming from this area.  Officers checked the area and did not hear any music in this area.  No Report.

 

1947 hrs., CVS Pharmacy/ Property Damage, caller stated his vehicle was struck.  When officers spoke to the driver he had no information on what struck his vehicle.  Officers gathered the information and took a Property Damage report.  Report written

 

2015 hrs., Lowe's/ Theft, while conducting a check in the area of the Lowe's officers observed a male (known to them to steal from Lowe's) walking through the parking lot carrying two red tool boxes.  As the officer turned to stop the male they were flagged down by store employees stating the male that the officer just saw, stole two tools.  While talking to employees the male took the tools and handed them off to a female sitting in a vehicle by the bank.  Officers gathered what items he stole and stopped the male at the bus stop and placed him under arrest.  Male was subsequently transported to the Department of Corrections after going to the hospital complaining of medical issues.   Report written

 

2215 hrs., 5900 block 89th Place/ Loud Music, caller stated the house listed was playing the music too loud.  While in the parking lot of the station officers heard the music then heard them turn it down.  It was quieted with no incident.  No Report.

 

2248 hrs., 6800 block 84th Ave/ Suspicious Activity, caller stated someone left information on her door to call them about an accident she was involved with over a month ago.  She called to see if it was the Police Department that left it or who it may have been.  She was advised to contact her insurance company to see if it was either company.  No Report.

 

2356 hrs., 5900 block 89th Place/ Loud Music, caller stated the house listed was playing the music too loud.  Officers were in the area a few minutes prior and there was no music playing at the time.  No Report.

 

0410 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Suspicious Activity, caller stated she could hear someone knocking on her backdoor.  Officers checked and the Sheriff's Department was in the area.  Deputy stated it was him knocking to serve a paper on the caller.  The caller came to the door and the paperwork was served by the Deputy.  No Report.

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. Report Written 0807 Hours - Suspicious Person - 7700 Block of Riverdale Rd: An unknown caller advised a male in gray was asleep under the stairwell unresponsive. Officers responded and made contact with the subject who advised he was on the bus all night and needed a place to sleep. The male checked negative for warrants and was sent on his way. Officers spoke with the caller who stated his vehicle had been broken into.
