0820 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. / area was clear

0900 Premise Check/ 8200 block of Oglethorpe St / area was clear

1050 Premise Check/ 6500 block of Lamont Place / area was clear

1240 Premise Check/ Plaza 30 / area was clear, business as usual

1425 Suspicious Person/ 5700 block Harland St / two males knocking on doors from Verizon asking personal information. Officer's canvassed the area with negative results

1510 Premise Check/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd business as usual, no issues reported

1630 NNO Beckett Field

1748 Suspicious Person/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd / male in the parking lot attempting to sell food stamps. The suspicious male left prior to officer’s arrival

1800 hrs.-2100 hrs. Officers participated in the National Night Out.

2123 hrs., 5300 block 85th Ave/ Check on the welfare, caller stated there was a male lying on the grass in the entrance of the building.  Officers checked the area with negative results; the caller called back and stated they were lying at the entrance to the complex by the rental office, then near IRS building.  Officers checked all over all of the locations and again negative results.  

2140 hrs., 7600 block Riverdale Rd/ Theft, caller stated he was in the area of the 6500 Block of Riverdale Rd at a Gas station when he was approached by a man selling stereo equipment from the back of his vehicle.  The man asked if the caller wanted anything and the caller purchased willingly a stereo system for $100.00.  He got the equipment home and realized it was fake and did not work.  The caller was advised it was a civil matter not a theft due to the willingness to purchase an item he did not know anything about.  He was advised what action he needed to take.

2205 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr. / check clear.

2245 hrs., School check/ Carrollton Elementary School, check clear.

2300 hrs., Margaret Brent School/ Suspicious vehicle occupied, Officers located a vehicle with a male and a female inside.  The occupants stated they were there talking. Officers gathered the information of the occupants and discovered the female was a juvenile.  Both were checked, advised, and sent on their way (the juvenile was released to her parent.)
