0730 ACRS/ 6100 block Lamont Drive / citizen struck the rear of a city trash truck while on the roadway. No injuries, Asst. Public Dir. responded to the scene. NC3 was notified. REPORT WRITTEN

0838  Vandalism to Auto/ 7500 block Riverdale Rd / an unknown suspect(s) used an unknown tool to shatter the victims passenger window. There was nothing of value reported taken at the time of the report. REPORT WRITTEN

0855 Vandalism to Auto/ 7500 block Riverdale Rd / unknown suspect(s) attempted to steal the victim’s tires by removing two and placing them on top of the vehicle. The suspect(s) placed the passenger side vehicle on concrete blocks. REPORT WRITTEN

1040 Station Call-Theft/ 6016 Princess Garden Pkwy the complainant advised someone took her poodle. REPORT WRITTEN

1127 Residential Alarm/ 8600 block Powhatan St / motion from basement stairs. Officers checked the residence and all sorts and windows checked secure. 

1147 911 Hang Up/ 8300 block Verona Dr. / no answer on call back. The occupant accidentally dialed 911.

1205 Theft from Auto/ 7500 block Riverdale Rd / unknown suspect used an unknown prying tool to remove the driver window. The suspect entered the vehicle and stole the in dash radio. REPORT WRITTEN

1300 Premise Check/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd / area was clear

1545 Premise Check/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / area was clear

1610 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. / area was clear

1625 Suspicious Person/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd / male sitting on the side of the building. After checking the male for warrants, he advised he was a patron of the establishment. 

1720 Welfare Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd / a citizen advised there were children locked in a vehicle. Officer's made contact with the children who were not locked in the vehicle. The vehicle was running and the children were ok.

1840 hrs., Forman Mills/ Disorderly male, caller stated the male was inside the store bothering customers.  They escorted him out of the store and he was heading across the street.  Officers stopped a male in the 8400 Block of Annapolis Rd. but the male is not believed to be the one from Forman Mills.  This male was stopped in the dumpster stating he was helping them separate the recycling.  FIELD OPS WAS COMPLETED.

1905 hrs., Business check/ Beckett Field, check clear.

1921 hrs., 8400 block Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

1940 hrs., 7700 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

2000 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr. / check clear.

2023 hrs., School check/ Robert Frost Elementary School, check clear.

2030 hrs., Veterans Hwy and Annapolis Rd/ Property damage, caller stated he was at the light when an unknown vehicle struck him.  The caller has no information on the vehicle or the driver therefore Officers took a report for property damage only. REPORT WRITTEN

2110 hrs., 7-11/ Fight, caller stated there were two people fighting in the business and then they carried it outside.  Officers arrived to see signs of an altercation, but the persons involved had already fled the area.  Officers canvassed the entire area with nothing located.

2145 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, check clear.

2215 hrs., 6100 Block of Westbrook Dr. / Traffic stop, driver had a learner's permit and was driving unsupervised.  The owner was contacted by the driver and arrived on scene to pick up the vehicle prior to the tow truck arriving.  The vehicle was released to the owner and both were issued several citations.

2300 hrs., Business check/ City of New Carrollton Pool, check clear.

2345 hrs., Residential check/ Heritage Square Apt, check clear.

0010 hrs., Business check/ Carrollton Enterprise, check clear.

0045 hrs., 7600 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

0100 hrs., Business check/ Darcar's Dodge, check clear.

0135 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0200 hrs., Residential check/ Heritage Square Apartments, check clear.

0240 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, check clear.

0300 hrs., School check/ Carrollton Elementary School, check clear.

0330 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr. / check clear.

0345 hrs., Business check/ Darcar's Dodge, check clear.

0400 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0425 hrs., Business check/ Shell Gas station, check clear.

0445 hrs., Business check/ Darcar's Dodge, check clear.

  0630 hrs., Premise check/ Shoppers Food (Foot Patrol), check clear.   0645 hrs., Premise check/ Lowe's, check clear.   0700 hrs., 8000 block Powhattan St/ Suspicious persons, caller stated there was a person sleeping inside of a vehicle parked in front of their residence.  Officers located the vehicle and the persons inside sleeping.  Officers checked the individuals and the vehicle and observed nothing illegal at this time.  The individuals were advised and sent on their way.  Report written   0745 hrs., Premise check/ 7-11, check clear.   0821 hrs., 7600 block Fountainbleau Dr/ 911 Hang-up, communications stated there was a call from this address but prior to getting any information the phone hung up.  On callback communications stated there was no answer, only a prerecorded message.  Officers checked the rental office and it was locked and secure with no one inside.  No Report.   0847 hrs., 86...
