neighbor observed a vehicle parked in front of his residence. The occupants
entered the residence, he thought it was suspicious. The house checked secure,
all door and windows were in place. There were no signs of forced entry

Shoplifting/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd - Loss Prevention
observed and detained a male for shoplifting. The suspect checked negative for
warrants and was issued a criminal citation. REPORT WRITTEN

Alarm, accidental by homeowner.

standby, when officers made contact with the caller he stated he wanted to go
into his residence and get some belongings. He and his family have been
arguing and he wanted to move out permanently. He advised officers he
wanted to move out all his belongings, to include a bed and dressers. He
was advised he would have to make an appointment with the Prince George's
county Sheriff's Department.
2036 hrs., 8500 block Powhatan St/ Land Lord Tenant,
caller believed she was locked out of her residence again. Officers
checked and the door was unsecured and the caller was able to enter her
residence. She was advised of Land Lord Tenant court.

hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave., Citizens complaint
of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles,
check clear.
2056 hrs., Lamont Elementary School/ A child
spoke with officers about him getting in trouble at home. Officers
coordinated with the school and the jurisdiction the child lives in.
Officers were waiting for information from the school to be able to continue.
REPORT WRITTEN
2107 hrs., 5400 block 85th Ave./ Officers were flagged
down about a child outside alone. While speaking with the citizen, the
mother of the child showed up and stated the child snuck out the door when she
was opening it. The child was safe and the unattended child was
simply an accident, the Officers found no neglect of the child.
2120 hrs., Annapolis Rd/ Officers assisted
Prince George's County Police with a canvas of the area for a male who possibly
tampered with the ATM. Canvas ended with negative results.
2150 hrs., 8600 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic
stop, stop cleared without incident.
2200 hrs., Carrollton Elementary School/
Suspicious vehicle occupied, couple lived in the area and were just talking
prior to going home.
2210 hrs., Residential check/ 6200 block
Westbrook Dr. - officers conducted a foot patrol of the residence and
discovered a window unsecured. Officers re-secured it prior to
leaving.
2237 hrs., 6100 Block of Lamont Dr. / Traffic
stop, stop cleared without incident.
2245 hrs., Farmcrest Dr. / at Carrollton Pkwy/
Officers were flagged down by a citizen who stated that she observed a couple
of males looking at her daughters vehicle over the weekend. She wanted
officers to check the area prior to her exiting her vehicle because she was
worried they may be back in the area. Officers checked with negative
results.
2310 hrs., 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd/
Disabled vehicle, officers observed a vehicle on the side of the road and
officers stopped to assist. The driver stated the vehicle had stopped
running and she called AAA for a tow. Officers stood by while the tow truck
was en-route (approximately 15 min.)

Suspicious Person, male was walking in the area where several windows had been
vandalized. As officers approached him he put his hood up, as if to

truck company was attempting to tow a vehicle that was parked illegally.
The owner approached the driver and began to argue and refused to pay the fee
for the vehicle to be dropped. Officers arrived and the owner paid the
driver the fee to get his vehicle back.
