0705 Theft from Auto/ 5500 block Karen Elaine- unknown suspects stole all the wheels from the victims’ vehicle. REPORT WRITTEN

0940 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd -no issues reported, business as usual

0959 Family Dispute/ 7500 block Riverdale Rd mother and son had a dispute. Mother didn’t want a report

1008 Residential Alarm/ 6000 block Mentana St- key fob activated, met with homeowner who was changing his battery. 

1132 Check Welfare/8500 block Annapolis Rd -elderly male was attempting to visit his daughter in DC. He was provided proper directions 

1200 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. - area was clear, no suspicious activity observed

1300 Premise Check/ Plaza 30- no issues, business as usual 

1345 Premise Check/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd no issues, business closing for the day

1502 Hrs., Disorderly 7300 block Longfellow Street -complaint stated a Unknown driver blocked her driveway and refused to move. Upon officers arrival the vehicle was gone and the caller no longer needed further police services. All clear. 

1609 Hrs., Assist 8400 block Longfellow Street - Washington DC metropolitan police department requested officers to check this address to locate the owner of a vehicle they had in their possession. Officers were cancelled prior to arrival,  dispatch advised the owner was located, all clear. 

1639 Hrs., Premise check 8400 block Annapolis Road- all clear. 

1710 Hrs., Premise Check 5200-5400 block of 85th avenue all clear 

1739 Hrs., Fight 8400 block Annapolis Road - store stated an unknown male suspect attempted to steal store merchandise. The suspect fled in an unknown direction with no property making good of his escape. The Manager declined further police services. All clear no report. 

1745 hrs., CVS/ Theft, Officers arrived and spoke to the clerk who stated they retrieved the items from the suspect attempting to steal them.  Suspect fled the area prior to officer’s arrival and the clerk said he did not want any action taken since he has the items.

1840 hrs., 5400 block 85th Ave/ Domestic, verbal argument between the caller and her husband.  She stated he was intoxicated and verbally abused her routinely.  Officers advised her of the actions she can take to get relief and information for the Crisis Center. REPORT WRITTEN

1915 hrs., Business check/ Carrollton Enterprise, check clear.

1945 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

2020 hrs., Business check/ Shoppers Food Warehouse, check clear.

2101 hrs., 6400 block Fairborn Terrace/ Caller stated they needed the police and nothing else.  The phone was pinged by communications to this general location but the service information comes back to a location outside of our jurisdiction.  Officers checked the area with nothing found.

2139 hrs., 7700 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

2140 hrs., 8400 block Annapolis Rd (Advance Auto)/ Commercial Burglar Alarm, Officers checked the doors and windows and all were secure.  Unknown cause for the activation of the alarm.

2224 hrs., 6100 block Lamont Dr./ Fire Alarm, While Officers were conducting a check of the area an alarm was heard going off.  It was discovered the alarm was the fire alarm and the Fire Department was contacted.  Upon arrival all doors were secure and the Fire Department was unable to gain access.  LARGO was contacted and stated it is malfunctioning and they would not respond and we can cancel any further requests.

2330 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0030 hrs., Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

0045 hrs., Robert Frost School, check clear.

0050 hrs., 8200 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

0102 hrs., 5800 block 84th Ave/ Child Custody Dispute, Caller reported the child was supposed to be dropped off at 1900 hours. The caller was contacted and advised.

0200 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

0230 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

0300 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

0330 hrs., Good Luck  Rd at Auburn Ave/ Traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

0345 hrs., Business check/ City of New Carrollton Pool, check clear.
