0650 hrs- Premise Check – 8400 block Annapolis Road / All clear

1004 hrs- Disorderly- 8200 block Annapolis Road - Male panhandling / advised and sent on way REPORT WRITTEN

1029 hrs- Disorderly – 8100 block Annapolis Road - Male hanging around store saying he was doing work but isn't employed there / Gone prior to officers arrival

1057 hrs- Stolen Auto – 6500 block Jodie Street - Unknown suspect(s) stole rent-a-car / U.U.V. charges already in place (No report)

1058 hrs- Peace Order – 6100 block 85th Place - Caller wanted order served / REPORT WRITTEN

1339 hrs- Burglary – 5300 block 85th Avenue - Suspect attempted to gain entry into residence and was startled by resident who was home. Suspect fled but was stopped a short time later. After show up was conducted, he was identified as the suspect and was placed under arrest (transported to D.O.C. Hyattsville for processing) /REPORT WRITTEN

1447 hrs- Accident - Annapolis Road and 495 - 2 vehicle collision which resulted in vehicle rolling over 4 times and occupant being transported to P.G.H.

1830 HOURS/PREMISE CHECK- 8500 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD - ALL CLEAR.

1937 HOURS/PREMISE CHECK 8300 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD- ALL CLAEAR.

2130 HOURS/ STOLEN AUTO- 5500 BLOCK KAREN ELAINE DR- THE VICTIM STATED SHE LAST SAW HER VEHICLE AT 0630 ON 08/15/2017. THE VICTIM THEN STATED SHE RETURNED HOME AT APPROXIMATELY 2130 HOURS AND DISCOVERED S-1 HAD STOLEN HER VEHICLE, THE VEHICLE WAS CHECK FOR IMPOUND OR REPO YIELDING IN NEGATIVE RESULTS. REPORT WRITTEN

2215 HOURS/ PREMISE CHECK- 7700 BLOCK RIVERDALE RD - ALL CLEAR.

2340 HOURS/ PREMISE CHECK- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD - ALL CLEAR.

0034 HOURS/ PREMISE CHECK- QUENTIN ST & GAVIN ST- ALL CLEAR.

0127 HOURS/SUSPICIOUS PERSON- 8500 BLOCK OF POWHATAN ST- WHILE ON PATROL OFFICERS OBSEVERED A MALE SUBJECT WALKING DOWN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET. OFFICERS STOPPED AND IDENTIFIED THE MALE SUBJECT. THE MALE SUBJECT IS A CITY RESIDENT AND WAS WALING HOME FROM THE STORE. THE MALE SUBJECT WAS ADVISED AND SENT ON HIS WAY WITHOUT INCIDENT.

0144 HOURS/SUSPICIOUS PERSON- 8300 BLOCK QUENTIN ST- WHILE ON PATROL OFFICERS OBSERVED A MALE SUBJECT WALKING BETWEEN VEHICLE. THE MALE SUBJECT WAS STOPPED AND IDENTIFIED. THE MALE SUBJECT STATED HE WAS OVER AT A FRIENDS HOUSE, AND WAS ON HIS WAY HOME BUT HE WAS LOST. A WARRANT CHECK WAS CONDUCTED YIELDING WITH NEGATIVE RESULTS. THE MALE SUBJECT WAS ADVISED AND SENT ON HIS WAY WITHOUT INCIDENT. REPORT WRITTEN

  0630 hrs., Premise check/ Shoppers Food (Foot Patrol), check clear.   0645 hrs., Premise check/ Lowe's, check clear.   0700 hrs., 8000 block Powhattan St/ Suspicious persons, caller stated there was a person sleeping inside of a vehicle parked in front of their residence.  Officers located the vehicle and the persons inside sleeping.  Officers checked the individuals and the vehicle and observed nothing illegal at this time.  The individuals were advised and sent on their way.  Report written   0745 hrs., Premise check/ 7-11, check clear.   0821 hrs., 7600 block Fountainbleau Dr/ 911 Hang-up, communications stated there was a call from this address but prior to getting any information the phone hung up.  On callback communications stated there was no answer, only a prerecorded message.  Officers checked the rental office and it was locked and secure with no one inside.  No Report.   0847 hrs., 86...
