2041 HOURS/ DOMESTIC DISPUTE- 6100 BLOCK 84TH AVE - CALLER STATED SHE HAD RECENTLY BROKEN UP WITH HER BOYFRIEND OF FOUR YEARS AND WANTED TO RETRIEVE HER VEHICLE FROM HIS HOUSE. THE CALLER STATED HER EX WOULD NOT RETURN THE KEY TO THE VEHICLE. OFFICER MADE CONTACT WITH THE MALE HALF WHO STATED THE VEHICLE BELONGS TO HIM. A REGISTRATION CHECK REVEALED THE VEHICLE DID BELONG TO THE FEMALE HALF. THE MALE FAILED TO UNDERSTAND THE ACTUAL CONCEPT OF OWNERSHIP AND REFUSED TO RETURN THE VEHICLE. THE FEMALE HALF CONTACTED A PRIVATE TOWING COMPANY AND HAD THE VEHICLE REMOVED.  THE MALE HALF WAS ALLOWED TO REMOVE ALL HIS PROPERTY FROM THE VEHICLE. REPORT WRITTEN

2046 HOURS/DOMESTIC DISPUTE- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE - CALLER STATED SHE WAS LOCKED OUT OF HER HOUSE AND HER BOYFRIEND HAD HER KEYS. THE MALE HALF WAS GOA UPON OFFICERS ARRIVAL BUT CONTACT WAS MADE BY PHONE. THE MALE HALF STATED HE AND HIS GIRLFRIEND HAD AN ARGUMENT ABOUT HIM HAVING TO WAIT OUTSIDE FOR HER TO COME HOME TO OPEN THE DOOR TO THEIR RESIDENCE. THE MALE HALF THEN STATED HE CALLED A FRIEND TO PICK HIM UP TO AVOID ANY FURTHER ISSUES. THE MALE HALF STATED HE ONLY HAD HIS KEYS TO THE RESIDENCE AND WOULD RETURN HOME TO UNLOCK THE DOOR WHEN HE'S DONE RUNNING HIS ERRANDS. THE FEMALE HALF STATED SHE WOULD WAIT AT HER DADS APARTMENT UNTIL HER BOY FRIEND COMES HOME. REPORT WRITTEN

2150 HOURS/PREMISE CHECK- 7700 BLOCK RIVERDALE RD - ALL CLEAR.

2230 HOURS/PREMISE CHECK- 6100 BLOCK OF 85TH AVE- ALL CLEAR.

2333 HOURS/LOUD MUSIC COMPLAINT- 8400 BLOCK RAVENSWOOD RD- OFFICER CANVASSED THE AREA FOR SOUNDS OF LOUD MUSIC. NO SOUNDS OF ANY MUSIC WERE HEARD AND THE COMPLAINANT DID NOT WANT TO BE MET.    

2353 HOURS/CITIZEN ROBBERY- 8300 BLOCK LARCHWOOD ST- WHILE WALKING HOME FROM THE BUS STOP IN THE 5800 BLOCK OF LAMONT DRIVE THE VICTIM STATED A MALE SUSPECT STRUCK HIM IN THE BACK OF HIS HEAD AND TOLD HIM TO LAY ON THE GROUND. THE VICTIM THEN STATED THE SUSPECT SEARCHED HIS POCKETS AND STOLE HIS BLACK WALLET CONTAINING $300.00 IN U.S. CASH AND FLED TOWARDS RIVERDALE RD ON FOOT. THE VICTIM WAS NOT INJURED AND REFUSED MEDICAL TREATMENT WHILE ON SCENE. R.S.T. WAS NOTIFIED AND RESPONDED TO THE SCENE AND INTERVIEWED THE VICTIM. THE VICTIM WAS NOT ABLE TO GIVE A DESCRIPTION OF THE SUSPECT TO OFFICERS. NCPD #3 WAS NOTIFIED OF THE INCIDENT. REPORT WRITTEN

0047 HOURS/THEFT REPORT- 5300 BLOCK 85TH AVE - CALLER STATED ON AUGUST 8TH WHILE WALKING HOME FROM THE METRO STATION NEXT TO THE METRO PARKING LOT A MALE SUSPECT SNATCHED HER BAG/PURSE FROM HER. OFFICERS ASKED WHY DID WAIT SO LONG TO REPORT THE INCIDENT. THE CALLER STATED SHE WASN'T GOING TO REPORT THE INCIDENT AT ALL BUT HER JOB KEYS WERE IN THE BAG AND SHE NOW NEEDED A REPORT. THE CALLER WAS ADVISED AND PROVIDED CONTACT INFORMATION FOR THE COUNTY POLICE.

Both vehicles were impounded, and officers were able to exchange information for both drivers. 0607 Hours- Suspicious Person- 5200 Block of 85th Ave: Officers responded to the listed location for a suspicious male inside the building. Upon the officers' arrival, the male subject was already gone. No Report 0703  Hours-  Stolen Vehicle- 54 00 Block of  85th Ave: Officers responded to the listed location regarding a stolen vehicle report. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the caller, who advised that his vehicle was missing. Further investigation revealed the vehicle had been impounded for a parking violation.
